Google Street View API crashes when a specific LatLng is used - google-maps-android-api-2

I get an IllegalArgumentException upon calling the code below
#Override
public void onStreetViewPanoramaReady(StreetViewPanorama streetView ) {
int radiusMeters = 50000; //50km
streetView.setPosition(new LatLng(-33.911227,151.157825), radiusMeters);
//with this specific LatLng it should crash with
//java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Out of texture space.
}
the application will only crash at this specific location (it does not crash at other locations or when the radius is >200km)
adding a try-catch at the 'setPosition()' method does not catch this error too.
is there a way to catch this error and prevent the app from crashing?
I am using 8.1.0 of the library
com.google.android.gms:play-services-maps:8.1.0'
I get the following crash log: -

Upgrade google play services to the latest 12.0.1 and use the latest setPosition method for streetViewPanorama which support OUTDOOR parameter.
mStreetViewPanorama.setPosition(location, 50, StreetViewSource.OUTDOOR);
This OUTDOOR parameter solved the similar issue in my app (keep on getting exception when showing the street view of one specific POI).

I have a problem with flashing proc using https://github.com/stlink-org.
Using windows STM32-Utility all works fine on every programer.
I also using debug which works correctly
Tried on other version v1.6.1.8x or 1.5.1 - this same problem
My setup:
Raspbbery Pi 4 with NOOBs
STM32F723, also i tried on Nucleo programer and ST-LINK / V2
stlink version - v1.6.1-201-g4bfaab0
At this moment I can erase memory, but that's all. When I tried to flash it crashes.

OpenOCD and Eclipse, wrong settings?

As I migrated from the old Eclipse installation that comes with my Olimex STM32-E407 board I came across some difficulty with the OpenOCD installation.
The old Eclipse settings worked fine; a Zylin embedded debugger with the following init script:
target remote localhost:3333
monitor reset halt
monitor wait_halt
monitor sleep 100
monitor poll
monitor flash write_image erase main.bin 0x08000000
monitor sleep 200
And this run script:
monitor soft_reset_halt
monitor wait_halt
monitor poll
thbreak main
continue
Since I switched to the new Eclipse I could choose a different debugger as Zylin seems to be outdated (latest Google results were prior to ~2010). In Eclipse Neon, I opted for GDB OpenOCD Debug which will start from the same OpenOCD instance as the old Eclipse. It will not launch the executable from Eclipse itself.
The OpenOCD script looks like the following:
-f ../scripts/interface/ftdi/olimex-arm-usb-tiny-h.cfg
-f ../scripts/board/olimex_stm32_e407.cfg
At the Startup tab I copied the initalization and run commands per above, changed main.bin to Dev.elf and saved the settings.
Starting debug from Eclipse yields in the output below. Even when I use the original main.bin from the old eclipse - which worked previously! - I cannot seem to get around this issue.

What surprises me is how it keeps reconnecting GDB and the fact that the adapter speed is switching. What am I doing wrong?
I have found a solution for the time being.
Add a debug option in GDB Hardware Debugging
Use gdb command 'arm-none-eabi-gdb' - you require the executable in your PATH environment.
Use remote target 'Generic TCP/IP' as JTAG device on localhost:3333
Go to the Startup tab and select default settings. Initalization commands:
monitor reset halt
monitor flash write_image erase main.bin 0x08000000
monitor sleep 200
The used run commands are:
monitor soft_reset_halt
monitor wait_halt
monitor poll
thbreak main
continue
This uses the 'old' main.bin from my initial Eclipse example project. If you use the .elf file you should use this instead:
monitor flash write_image erase main.elf
This is due to the fact that .elf contain all the required headers.

Google compute engine boot fails after hardware upgrade to Hashwell

I have a f1-micro instance running on Google Compute Engine running CentOS.
Some time ago I got a mail stating that the zone I am using (us-central1-b) is going through a hardware upgrade to new Hashwell servers, and all instances need to be restarted. So, I did restart. I shut down my services, and performed a restart via the developer dev. console.
But the instance never came up - the boot on the new hardware failed, and now I can not log in to the instance with ssh. I will add the serial console content below this.
My main issue is that there are some content I would really like to get my hands on (nope - didn't do a full backup - shoot!).
How do I restore the instance, when I can not log in using ssh?

I suggest at first to follow standard troubleshooting steps to validate the disk's filesystem as documented.
Then you can try to snapshot the disk and create a new instance with boot disk from snapshot to avoid exclude a disk UUID conflict.
Finally you can try to attach the disk to recover the files to a brand new instance as I suggested in my previous comment.
If you can not validate the filesystem as per troubleshooting guide the data is most probably lost and nothing more can be done to recover it.
Please note as a good practice to take care of either periodic snapshot, GCS differentiual backup or other replication method.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
P.

Cant create folder using mkdir to sd card for android tablet

im having this problem of mkdir keep returning false even though i have done all the necessary the following are my active codes.
protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
File folder = new File(Environment.getExternalStorageDirectory().toString() + "/myappfolder" );
boolean maked = folder.mkdir();
System.out.println("the folder is maked or not? "+maked);
setContentView(R.layout.activity_main);
}
folder.mkdir() returns me false.
yes i have:
include
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE"/>
in my manifest.
i have also maked sure the folder does not exist in my sd card.
and in one of my project it display
06-22 01:23:58.130: W/ActivityManager(143): No content provider found for permission revoke: file:///data/local/tmp/simulation.apk
i even tried unplugging it from my computer in case sd card is mounted to my desktop.
i had also tried in sumsung galaxy s3
im mainly using acer A100 ICS factory data reset tablet.
i suspect something is blocking my tablet for allowing me to write on the sd card
i would really appreciate if someone can come out with a solution

Two things.
Your code reads
File folder = new File(Environment.getExternalStorageDirectory().toString() + "/myappfolder" );
and you'd be better off using this syntax
File folder = new File(Environment.getExternalStorageDirectory().toString() , "myappfolder" );
If you're debugging your code, it's possible that the external SD Card has been dismounted. Go to Setting->Storage and verify that your SD Card is accessible to apps on your device.
After seeing your logcat, one thing seems to be causing you trouble. Your logcat has this line in it:
06-22 04:33:57.320: W/PackageManager(143): Unknown permission
android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE in package com.android.myapp
which means you're actually having trouble with your manifest (you're targetting an Android version which didn't have that permission implemented yet. I also suspect that if you remove that permission, your troubles will cease). According to the permission's description you don't need it anyway, since you're already granting WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE.

It sounds as though your emulator does not have the Google API's installed, based on this error message:
Device does not have package com.google.android.gsf
You can read about the GCM client requirements in the Google GCM docs: http://developer.android.com/google/gcm/demo.html#requirements
The important part being this:
For the Android application:
Emulator (or device) running Android 2.2 with Google APIs.
The Google API project number of the account registered to use GCM.
So when you create your emulator make sure that the target has the Google API's installed. E.g.:
Google APIs (Google Inc.) - API Level 10
