I'm trying to save a "history" I'm building after you sent a command from a line, so every time you press Enter the commands goes to the jTextPane with a line separator... However when I save the file it doesn't seem to get the line separator. Example, my jTextPane has something like:
Create database user
use database user
show tables from database
Instead of saving the workspace just like that, it gives me this:
Create database useruse database usershow tables from database
What should I do? Here's my code
String ar;
String TEXTO = jTextPane1.getText() + System.lineSeparator();
FileFilter ft = new FileNameExtensionFilter("Text Files", ".txt");
FC.setFileFilter(ft);
int returnVal = FC.showSaveDialog(this);
if (returnVal == javax.swing.JFileChooser.APPROVE_OPTION) {
java.io.File saved_file = FC.getSelectedFile();
String file_name = saved_file.toString();
File archivo;
ar = "" + file_name + ".txt";
archivo = new File(ar);
try {
if (saved_file != null) {
try (FileWriter GUARDADO = new FileWriter(ar)) {
GUARDADO.write(TEXTO);
}
}
} catch (IOException exp) {
System.out.println(exp);
}
}
You need to use :
jTextPane1.getDocument().getText(0,jTextPane1.getDocument().getLength());
The issue is that you need to use /n instead of System.lineSeparator. The JTextPane behavior doesn't depends on the System.

In my code has an issue but I can't see what issue in this. Column names are same word by word and it is working, If I use 1 column in csv file but when I try out more then 2-3 column fields it is giving the error below. I have checked read lots of article so I can't fix the error. What can be happen with is this lines. DB already was created with similar fields.
private void DBaktar()
{
string SQLServerConnectionString = "Server =.\\SQLEXPRESS; Database = Qiti; User Id = sa; Password = 7731231xx!!;";
string CSVpath = #"D:\FTP\"; // CSV file Path
string CSVFileConnectionString = String.Format("Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source={0};;Extended Properties=\"text;HDR=Yes;FMT=Delimited\";", CSVpath);
var AllFiles = new DirectoryInfo(CSVpath).GetFiles("*.CSV");
string File_Name = string.Empty;
foreach (var file in AllFiles)
{
try
{

Some information can be found here: https://sqlbulkcopy-tutorial.net/columnmapping-does-not-match
Cause
You didn't provide any ColumnMappings, and there is more column in the source than in the destination.
You provided an invalid column name for the source.
You provided an invalid column name for the destination.
Solution
ENSURE to provide a ColumnMappings
ENSURE all values for source column name are valid and case sensitive.
ENSURE all values for destination column name are valid and case sensitive.
MAKE the source case insensitive
I have found a solution and working 100% true.. The link below, I hope become a path who need that.

I'm trying to merge all my text files into one file.
The problem I am having is that the file names are based on data previously captured in my app. I don't know how to define my path to where the text files are, maybe. I keep getting a error, but the path to the files are correct.
What am I missing?
string filesread = System.AppDomain.CurrentDomain.BaseDirectory + #"\data\Customers\" + CustComboB.SelectedItem + #"\";
Directory.GetFiles(filesread);
using (var output = File.Create("allfiles.txt"))
{
foreach (var file in new[] { filesread })
{
using (var input = File.OpenRead(file))
{
input.CopyTo(output);
}
}
}
System.Diagnostics.Process.Start("allfiles.txt");
my error:
System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException
HResult=0x80070003
Message=Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Users\simeo\source\repos\UpMarker\UpMarker\bin\Debug\data\Customers\13Dec2018\'.
I cant post a pic, but let me try and give some more details on my form.
I select a combobox item, this item is a directory. then I have a listbox that displays the files in my directory. I then have a button that executes my desires of combining the files. thanks
I finally got it working.
string path = #"data\Customers\" + CustComboB.SelectedItem;
string topath = #"data\Customers\";
string files = "*.txt";
string[] txtFiles;
txtFiles = Directory.GetFiles(path, files);
using (StreamWriter writer = new StreamWriter(topath + #"\allfiles.txt"))
{
for (int i = 0; i < txtFiles.Length; i++)
{
using (StreamReader reader = File.OpenText(txtFiles[i]))
{
writer.Write(reader.ReadToEnd());
}
}
System.Diagnostics.Process.Start(topath + #"\allfiles.txt");
}
So I have had an issue for a while now and thought it was worth the time to ask the more experienced regex guys if there was a way to fix this issue with a quick search and replace.
So i use a tool which generates java code(not written in java or I would manually fix the cause directly), however, it has an issue calling variables before an object is created.
This always occurs only once per object, but not for every object, the object name is unknown, and the error is always the line directly before the constructor is called. This is the format the error is always in:
this.unknownObjectName.mirror = true;
this.unknownObjectName = new Model(unknown, parameter, values);
I know there should be a trick to fix this, as a simple string replace simply will not work since 'unknownObjectName' is unknown.
Would this even be possible with regex, if so, please enlighten me :)
This is how the code SHOULD read:
this.unknownObjectName = new Model(unknown, parameter, values);
this.unknownObjectName.mirror = true;
For complex models, this error may happen hundreds of times, so this will indeed save a lot of time. That and I would rather walk on hot coals then do mindless busy work like fixing all these manually :)
Edit:
I through together a java app that does the job.
public static void main(String args[]){
File file = new File(args[0]);
File file2 = new File(file.getParentFile(), "fixed-" + file.getName());
try {
if(file2.exists()) {
file2 = new File(file.getParentFile(), "fixed-" + System.currentTimeMillis() + "-" + file.getName());
}
BufferedReader br = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(new FileInputStream(file)));
BufferedWriter bw = new BufferedWriter(new OutputStreamWriter(new FileOutputStream(file2)));
String line, savedline = null, lastInitVar = "";
while((line = br.readLine()) != null){
if(line.contains("= new ")){
String varname = line.substring(0, line.indexOf("=")).trim();
lastInitVar = varname;
}else if(line.contains(".mirror")){
String varname = line.substring(0, line.indexOf(".mirror")).trim();
if(!lastInitVar.equals(varname)){
savedline = line;
continue;
}
}else if(savedline != null && savedline.contains(lastInitVar)){
bw.write(savedline + "\n");
savedline = null;
}
bw.write(line + "\n");
}
bw.flush();
bw.close();
br.close();
} catch (Exception e) {
e.printStackTrace();
}
}
Over thinking it
Write a program to read line by line and when you see a object access before a constructor don't write it out, write out the next line and then write out the buffered line, rinse repeat.
Some people, when confronted with a problem, think "I know, I'll use
regular expressions." Now they have two problems. - Jamie Zawinski
Regular Expressions are for matching patterns not state based logic.
I have a datagridview that I want to display a data from a database. But I don't want it to display all of the data. I want it to display the data for a specific ID only. Meaning if the user enters 3 ID, it will display the info for that 3 ID. Hence I want to use a rich text box as a filter so that the user can enter multiple ID for each line in the rich text box. The user can enter the ID No. within the rich text box and the data will be used as a filter to display the data for that particular ID. But I cannot make it read beyond the first line of the rich text box. If I enter just one ID in the first line, it works perfectly, but if I enter a second ID in the second line, or in the third line, then it will not display anything at all. I tried using for loop to read each line of the rich text box but it doesn't work. Any advice or solution??
here is my code :
namespace TrackCon
{
public partial class trackInput : Form
{
public trackInput()
{
InitializeComponent();
}
/*private void trackInput_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
// TODO: This line of code loads data into the 'trackingBMSDATADataSet.BRDATA' table. You can move, or remove it, as needed.
this.bRDATATableAdapter.Fill(this.trackingBMSDATADataSet.BRDATA);
}*/
private void trackBtn_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
RichTextBox dynamicRichTextBox = new RichTextBox();
DataTable dt = null;
string connoInput = richTextBox1.Text;
string conString = Properties.Settings.Default.BMSDATAConnectionString;
//string[] RichTextBoxLines = dynamicRichTextBox.Lines;
foreach (char line in richTextBox1.Text)
{
using (SqlCeConnection con = new SqlCeConnection(#"Data Source=C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\Visual Studio 2008\Projects\TrackCon\TrackCon\BMSDATA.sdf;Persist Security Info = True;Password=xxxx"))
{
con.Open();
SqlCeCommand com = new SqlCeCommand("SELECT conno,cmpsno,ctrx,dsysdate,cstnno,corigin FROM BRDATA WHERE conno = '" + richTextBox1.Text + "'OR cmpsno = '" + richTextBox1.Text + "'", con);
SqlCeDataAdapter adap = new SqlCeDataAdapter(com);
DataSet set = new DataSet();
adap.Fill(set);
if (set.Tables.Count > 0)
{
dt = set.Tables[0];
}
dataGridView1.DataSource = dt;
con.Close();
}
}
}
}
}
I suggest to use a TextBox and set MultiLine to true.
Then you can read all the ids like this:
string[] ids = myTextBox.Text.Split('\n');
EDIT:
You can use SQL's IN to find all elements:
string sql = "SELECT conno, etc FROM BRDATA WHERE conno IN (" + String.Join(", ", ids) + ")";
Is there any way to log all requests ongoing to a database or can you only log snapshots to a database?
The following example relies upon OLEDB 4.0 which is not available for 64bit processes. You can either select another data provider (e.g. SQLServer) or you can force Fiddler to run in 32bit mode.
Add the following to the Rules file to create a new menu item.
// Log the currently selected sessions in the list to a database.
// Note: The DB must already exist and you must have permissions to write to it.
public static ToolsAction("Log Selected Sessions")
function DoLogSessions(oSessions: Fiddler.Session[]){
if (null == oSessions || oSessions.Length < 1){
MessageBox.Show("Please select some sessions first!");
return;
}
var strMDB = "C:\\log.mdb";
var cnn = null;
var sdr = null;
var cmd = null;
try
{
cnn = new OleDbConnection("Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=" + strMDB);
cnn.Open();
cmd = new OleDbCommand();
cmd.Connection = cnn;
for (var x = 0; x < oSessions.Length; x++){
var strSQL = "INSERT into tblSessions ([ResponseCode],[URL]) Values (" +
oSessions[x].responseCode + ", '" + oSessions[x].url + "')";
cmd.CommandText = strSQL;
cmd.ExecuteNonQuery();
}
}
catch (ex){
MessageBox.Show(ex);
}
finally
{
if (cnn != null ){
cnn.Close();
}
}
}
Note: To use the Database Objects in Fiddler 2.3.9 and below, you'll need to add system.data to the References list inside Tools | Fiddler Options | Extensions | Scripting. In 2.3.9.1 and later, this reference will occur automatically.
Then, list the new import at the top of your rules script:
import System.Data.OleDb;
