I have tried for several hours now trying to setup a WildFly Server to start. I am currently using Eclipse Mars and Mac El Capitan. The following error I get is: The archive: /Servers/wildfly-10.0.0.Final/jboss-modules.jar which is referenced by the classpath, does not exist.
Does anyone know what I am doing wrong or have some suggestions? I have tried tutorials for setup and have had zero luck.
I was using Tomcat before for my side projects but now Since Angular 2 I was suggested to use WildFly for the conversion of typescript to javascript.

I'm new in JBoss Developer Studio.
Where I can find example, how I can make fuse integration project and RUN it on server? I cann't run my test project on server, I see a lot of errors, but my project consist only LOG component. And Why I cann't run this project on EAP 7.1 or Fuse 6.3?
i have JBoss EAP 7.1 and JBoss Fuse 6.3.
Thank you in advance, and sorry for my English)
Offtop:
When I use Mule, I can make and run my first project for 10-15 minutes. But in Developer Studio it's very... difficult. I wasted 2 days without result
I am sorry that you are facing problems.
I would suggest you try to read the documentation at https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_jboss_fuse/6.3/pdf/tooling_tutorials/Red_Hat_JBoss_Fuse-6.3-Tooling_Tutorials-en-US.pdf . It is a good starting point for writing camel routes with the JBoss Fuse Tooling. I would also recommend you learn more about Apache Camel at http://camel.apache.org as the tooling is for Camel.
Hope that helps,
Lars
I am trying to run a simple Restful web service example on oracle weblogic server . but i am getting this issue while run the project on server. Publishing to Oracle Weblogic server at localhost has encountered a problem.Runtime exception occurred in publish task 'SplitsrcTargetPreparation'.
Have a look on screen sort. What i have to do ?
None of the other answers solved my problem, but I finally found a solution. I'm not claiming that this is the best or only way of resolving this issue, but it worked for me. Hope it helps others.
Open the Properties of your WebLogic server instance in Eclipse. Select Publishing. Set the publishing mode to "Publish as an exploded archive". You will no longer get a split source error.
Check the following.
Maven version – If you have imported as a maven project then make
sure that maven version is compatible to the java version you are
using.
Makes sure that you are using the java from the Middleware
which is comes bundled with weblogic.
New domain – Corrupt domain
may also cause this. Create a new domain
I am working on JavaEE webprojects using maven for dependencies and so on. The testing environment is Tomcat 7 for eclipse.
Now, when I made the transition to the newer eclipse (Luna) and deploy the webapp on tomcat, the tomcat instance refuses to serve the project. It gives 404 and the request on localhost:8080 doesn't produce any unusual console or log entries except the normal startup output (the exact same as on Juno).
I compared the server access log files located in /.metadata/... and the startup scripts. They are equal. No error messages, and no other clues on why the Luna Tomcat does not work. Don't get me wrong, the server 'works', as it provides a 404 message, it just does not serve the webapp that is deployed.
Does somebody have an idea on how to debug this further, or what the reason for the different behaviour could be? Thanks for any hints or advice.

EDIT:
Just a few things I already did:
- Check and set project root (set to / in both cases)
- One suggestion found via google was to fiddle with the Libraries and Order and Export in Project Settings Build Path. (just move them up and down to get rid of a bug -> did not work)
- In Project Properties, set the targeted runtime to Tomcat 7 (the server in question)
- Reinstall the server
- Copy all configuration from one server path to the other.
- Set the server base path of Luna to the exact same as the working Juno instance (yes, they are in different places)
EDIT2:
Updating Eclipse to the newest version (MARS) did the job. Sadly I will now never know what the cause of the problem was. Luckily everything works again and I can focus on actually doing something :D
I have a JBoss Seam project that a coworker created about a year ago. I'm taking over it now and it needs some work done. So I'm trying to setup the project in Eclipse Indigo. Here is the list of things I have installed so far:
JBoss 4.2.2 GA
JBoss Seam 2.2.0 GA
Glassfish v2.1
JBoss Seam Tools Plugin for Eclipse Indigo
For some reason I am not able to build the project to get an ear for JBoss. The errors I have are one in glassfish-builld.xml which says "Target clean does not exist in this project." And then I have errors in a bunch of generic.jsp file (I have no idea what their purpose is). The error for those is that a library for JBoss Seam called org.jboss.seam.wiki.util.WikiUtil cannot be found.
Can someone point me in the right direction to get this setup and running on JBoss?
Also org.jboss.seam.wiki.util.WikiUtil is a class that is a part of... Seam example project that is added to JBoss Seam distribution in examples/wiki directory. So if you really need it you will be able to find it there. But honestly I don't see any reason to put any dependency to Seam examples in project. Consider just deleting / commening out the code that refers to this class becasue it is probably some quick and dirty test code.
Do you want to run it on Glassfish or Jboss?
Did you import an entire eclipse project or create a new one?
I would first check the referenced libraries to see if there's anything missing(Libraries under Java Build Path for Helios, not sure if that differs from Indigo). Add a -verbose tag to the build and check out the output.
I just started learning portlet and got stuck in the first place. I have installed JavaEE 6 SDK, Eclipse Helios and GlassFish Server 3.0.1. I also successfully configured OpenPortal Portlet Container (OPC) for GlassFish by running command:
java -jar portlet-container-configurator.jar
The problem come up when I wanted to create a new server runtime environment of OPC, there was no "OpenPortal Portlet Container 2.x" node like the tutorial said. I googled and found that I needed to install Eclipse Portal Pack but the link was dead.
Any suggestion, please?
Best Regard.
If you want to develop portlets, I strongly recommend downloading Apache Pluto instead of using the open portlet container; you can download a version of Tomcat bundled with Pluto from their site: http://portals.apache.org/pluto
Actually, Pluto has a few quirks that you need to get past (for example, it wants you to run an 'assembly' step to add some entries to your web.xml) but once you do it is probably the best way. You could also try Liferay or JBoss' GateIn for development, but if you are ultimately targeting a vendor supplied platform like WebSphere, you might find that these actually have features that aren't as portable, whereas Pluto is really just a simple implementation of the portlet spec.
I have found the .jar file on Internet. Thanks for watching.
