How to set fotorama thumbnail as vertical - magento2

I am using magento 2 porto theme. In product details page i need to set the thumbnail of fotorama slider to left as vertical. Is it possible?? Please help

Go to the the file app/design/frontend/Vendor/Theme/etc/view.xml
We can see a variable navdir.
This variable has ability to change the thumbnails alignment in Fotorama.
By default it is set as:
<var name="navdir"> horizontal</var>
Change the code like this:
<var name="navdir"> vertical</var>
to make the thumbnails as vertical.

Adjust image size on individual product magento2

I have been trying to adjust the size of the main image in the individual product, what I am trying to do is make the red section cover the blue. I have already tried it with css but it does not work, apparently the base image keeps the measure of 700x700. I'm new to magento and I don't know if there is any function for this. I would appreciate if someone could tell me how to make this change, thanks.

You can change image size on etc/view.xml inside your themes directory, if your themes doesnt have any, you can copy from luma or blank theme (its under vendor/magento dir)
dont forget to flush cache after you change value of view.xml

Change the border's color of a button in Unity3D

I began to work with Unity3D since one month and I'm trying to do an application which contains a menu, composed by a panel and several buttons. At this moment, I'm trying to customize the menu, I change the fill color of the panel and buttons, but until now I could not change the border color of the buttons. There is any way to customize the border's color of the UI buttons? I would appreciate your help. :)
The easiest way to add an outline to your button is to use the Outline component (doc).
Simply add the Outline component where your button image or text is. Then configure it how you like it :)
The above results in the following button:
No, you can not change just border color. If you use default buttons, take a look at Source image. It is basically a grey square with black borders. So when you change color of image black color remains black.
To customize buttons as you want you need either create nested UI elements:
or create sprites with colors you want and replace source image
I find nested UI elements to be the easiest way to do something like this. Simple example:
Start out by creating a panel and change the scale until you get the desired size for your button. This will be your "borders".
Next create another panel as a child of the panel you just made and change the scale to be just slightly smaller than your first panel and change the color.
In the Inspector for your panel, add component and type in Button and add it as a component.
Finally, add a text as a child of your panel for a label and you're done.

How to make select button like Apple Pages app

I can select multiple font styles in Apple Pages app, orange colored box on the screen.
How to make it?
I can't find any ui component in the iOS SDK like this, multiple select. UISegmentControl is only for one select like radio button.
use a UISegmentControl in momentary mode to have the bar :)
set custom background images for the cells
there is no stock control but this is quite basic using this approach
No default thing is available you have to do it by yourself. You set tags for each button and only one selector. By checking the selected button tags execute you specific code.
For that, yon need to take UISegment Control and make it's background images custom. Also you can set the width of the each segment.
Then you will achieve your goal.
Cheers!

Change the width of the facebook like button

I need to change the width of the like button in my website. I have changed the width property in the code but it doesn't work. Can anyone suggest a better way?
You can visit http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like/ to create the button of your desired width.
You are not allowed to change the width of the button itself, only the container it is in. You are not allowed to overlay any other click-jacking image over the top of the like button either.

jQuery Mobile/ jqTouch Image width

I want to have a static footer image with 5 buttons for navigation in my mobile phone website. The image is here http://www.pintum.com.au/jm/footer3a.jpg. The blue icons should be the default, the yellow icon should only be visible for the hover or active state.
I want to know how can I make this image scale to the correct width on all mobile devices (landscape and portrait) and have links to other pages and make the current/active pages icon the yellow color?
What I have tried so far
I first tried to make a CSS Sprite but that go ugly (complex) quickly. Painful working with widths everywhere so the image scales correctly as I had no way of knowing the height in pixels since the width is dynamic. I could use JS to find the width and calculate height on the fly. But this sounds like overkill.
Next I tried to have a single image with a width of 100% then place div overlays on top of the image. But with this solution I could not figure out how to navigate pages using JavaScript click event, or figure out how I would be able to change the image icon on the selected page http://jsbin.com/uraya5/3/ . And detrmining the correct height for the div
Last I tried to make each button a seperate image. These seems like the easist soultion. But jQuery Mobile adds a bunch of extra styles to the button I do not know how to remove. See http://jsbin.com/uraya5/4
So whats the best/easiest way to do this?
How can I remove the style around
links?
Or can I use a single image CSS sliding door method? To reduce HTTP request.
Ok I figured it out
See soultion here http://jsbin.com/uraya5/10/
I had to:
Set width to 19% of each button for
some reason there is spacing between
each button so 20% does not work.
Set ui-bar-a background to black so
it hides the spaces between my
images
Use this JS code to navigate pages $.mobile.changePage($("#about"),
"flip", true, true);
I would still like to use a single image instead of having 5 different images to reduce http calls. So if anyone finds a eligant soultion for this please let me know.
