I have turned off Global notification level and the notification on all my projects and even changed my e-mail address in order to avoid gitlab sending me commit messages, it seem their notification system is bugged... When will this be fixed?
Link to repo? Did you leave your email in your Gitlab ci yml?

I am using bitbucket and jenkins as my CI/CD solution.
I am running a sanity job everytime Pull request is raised. I want to send email notification on the success or failure of the job to the owner of the pull requuest. The challenge I am facing is I am not able to get the user information for the PR in jenkins pipeline.
Anybody has solved this porblem ?
Here's a different approach to this: instead of directly emailing the author of the PR, use the Bitbucket API to write a comment on the PR (doc). Since you would already have the PR ID, it's just a matter of sending a POST request.
By default, any comments written on a Bitbucket PR automatically trigger an email to the PR author + PR reviewers so they will be getting notified via email as well.
I have configured the travis.yml as shown below
notifications:
email:
recipients:
- abc#xyz.com
on_success: change
on_failure: always
and my account is registered with github. I dont receive email notifications when one of the Jobs of travis build fails. How to solve this problem and receive email notifications whenever build fails ?
Are these pull request builds?
Pull Request builds do not trigger email notifications.
See https://docs.travis-ci.com/user/notifications/
I have a CD pipeline with Azure Deploy task and I want to trigger a email notification to developers after successful deployment but with custom message. I researched on 'Send Email' task but it requires an SMTP server (say google SMTP). is there a feature within VSTS to trigger a mail?
You could use the SendGrid Email extension. You would need a SendGrip API key (hence a SendGrid account) but you can create one for free on Azure.
It would be limited to 25000 emails per month, but it should be enough. And if it isn't, you can upgrade your plan in no time
I Hope I helped you :)
It seems you are using the Send Email task developed by DutchWorkz B.V..
You can use the Send Email task developed by Rene van Osnabrugge (Xpirit) which just need to specify the email addressed, subject and email body.
I am totally new in hubot, and I am stuck at something seems easy.
I want to use this plugin to send messages to users via slack when they have a mention comment or there's a comment on their pull requests.
But I have some trouble setting on Github webhook, how to fill in this form correctly? What's the hubot_url should be? If I test on my local machine, should the URL be http://localhost:port/hubot/github-pull-request?room=ROOM&only-mentioned=1?
And what's the port of hubot if I test it on my local machine? It seems I fill it with wrong data. The delivery failed and got a service timeout error.
I set up a gitlab server in ubantu14.4.3SLT
in my case, I want to set up a git server for local users so I do not need user to sign in with any email confirmation.
How can I disable email confirmation in gitlab? are there any api or something simple to disable it?
This isn't a good answer. But ran across this and wanted to skip for a test instance I have. This is what I did(gitlab 10.1.0):
From the rails console:
User.all.each {|u| u.confirmed_at = Time.now; u.save}
