I create a model using EA Scripting. The model consists of interfaces and each interface has operations. I also add these interfaces in a composition diagram , how can I not show the operations in diagram in EA.
Is it possible by some settings in EA or I need to do it programatically

Doing it for single elements manually is simple:
From the context menu in the diagram choose Features/...Visibility
In Operation Visibility click Custom
Choose the operations you need to suppress
Now for the tricky part, if you need to do that for many diagrams at once. The information is stored in t_diagram.StyleEx. This contains a semicolon separated list of entries. One of those entries might look like
SPL=S_E4BB5A=69A30E,2A49EF:;
Now E4BB5A are the first 6 nibbles of the element GUID which is affected. 69A30E and 2A49EF are those of attributes or operations which shall be suppressed. So in order to suppress an operation on all diagrams you need to do the following:

Of course you need to merge with existing SPL entries rather than simply adding them. But you should get the idea.

I'd like to use EA to generate Requirement elements programatically. I need to use the same sequence numbering (REQ00000xy), as with the GUI when pressing "Auto" button in "Add Element ..." dialog in order to keep´consistent numbering for Requirement elements created either from GUI or from API.
Selecting the last used sequence number from already existing Requierement elements won't help, as it don't move the sequence number up and next Requirement created from GUI .
Is there a way to get (and properly use) the sequence number via EA API or EA SQL?
The table you're looking for is t_trxtypes. This contains something like (EA's output)
Description;NumericWeight;Notes;TRX;TRX_ID;Style;

You're interested in the column Notes which holds as CSV list like
prefix=bla;suffix=x;active=1;active_a=0;counter=126;
This is a test setting for a class which currently has the number 126. So the next created class would be named bla126x and the entry would change to
prefix=bla;suffix=x;active=1;active_a=0;counter=127;
Just keep the columne t_trxtypes.notes in synch with your creations.
Note EA does not (seem to) allow direct DB access. However, it has a proven back door:

will do the update (replace <your id> with the appropriate key). Though Execute is undocumented it works ever since and for sure Sparx will not limit it as nowadays everyone relies on it.
As a side note: This counter is not safe. There are lots of ways (the easiest is a simple rename) to break it. You'd need some script/add-in to have regular checks your numbering is still consistent. If you rely on requirement numbering you better use an external system like, I dare to say, DOORS.

For elements, where sequence is defined, if you use empty name in set =AddNew() function, EA generates the sequence upon .Update(). Not earlier. So if you plan to use the generated sequence and add some description, you need to create the element with empty name first, then Update() it and after that append your description to the content of the Name field.
As easy as this.
Note: This seems heavily related to Setting feature value to the count of containing annotation in UIMA Ruta. But I cannot quite apply the answer to my situation.
I am analyzing plain text documents where the following structure is assumed:
Document (one, of course)
Section (many)
Heading (one per section)
I am being asked to identify sections by checking whether their headings satisfy conditions. A useful and obvious sort of condition would be: does the heading match a given regular expression? A less-useful but perhaps more achievable condition would be: does the heading contain a given text?
I could and have already achieved this by taking a list of tuples of regular expressions and section titles, and at design time, for each member of the list, as such:

This approach is fairly straightforward but has a few big drawbacks:
It heavily violates the DRY principle
Even when writing the rule for just one section to identify, the rule author must copy the section title twice (it should only need to be specified once)
It makes the script needlessly long and unwieldy
It puts a big burden on the rule author, who in an ideal case, would only need to know Regex - not Ruta
So I wanted to refactor to achieve the following goals:
A text file is used to store the regular expressions and corresponding titles, and the rule iterates over these pairs
Features, rather than types, are used to differentiate different sections/headings (i.e. like above, using SECTION.value=="Table of Contents" and not TableOfContentsSection)
After looking over the UIMA Ruta reference to see which options were available to achieve these goals, I settled on the following:
Use a WORDTABLE to store tuples of section title, words to find / regex if possible, lookup type - so for instance, Table of Contents,contents,sectiontitles
Use MARKTABLE to mark an intermediate annotation type LookupMatch whose hint feature contains the section title and whose lookup feature contains the type of lookup we are talking about
For each HEADING, see if a LookupMatch.lookup == "sectiontitle" is inside, and if it is, copy the LookupMatch.hint to the heading's value field.
For each SECTION, see if a HEADING with a value is inside; if so, copy the value to the SECTION.value field.
It was not quite a surprise to find that implementing steps 3 and 4 was not so easy. That's where I am at and why I am asking for help.

I'm a beginner to Weka and I'm trying to use it for text classification. I have seen how to StringToWordVector filter for classification. My question is, is there any way to add more features to the text I'm classifying? For example, if I wanted to add POS tags and named entity tags to the text, how would I use these features in a classifier?
It depends of the format of your dataset and the preprocessing steps you perform. For instance, let us suppose that you have pre-POS-tagged your texts, looking like:
The_det dog_n barks_v ._p
So you can build an specific tokenizer (see weka.core.tokenizers) to generate two tokens per word, one would be "The" and the other one would be "The_det" so you keep the tag information.
If you want only tagged words, then you can just ensure that "_" is not a delimiter in the weka.core.tokenizers.WordTokenizer.
My advice is to have both the words and tagged words, so a simpler way would be to write an script that joins the texts and the tagged texts. From a file containing "The dog barks" and another one cointaining "The_det dog_n barks_v ._p", it would generate a file with "The The_det dog dog_n barks barks_v . ._p". You may even forget about the order unless you are going to make use of n-grams.
In TestComplete, the UIAObject "ControlPatterns" property lists the Microsoft UIA Control Patterns for an object.

As far as I know, TestComplete supports patterns for UI Automation objects. The patterns' members are available as the corresponding object's members in TestComplete. You do not need to cast an object to a pattern or invoke a pattern in any other special ways.
As for your specific question, you can get the index of the column via the column property and then find the corresponding column by this index.

I'm currently working on a Database which requires the following functionality:
For example given a specific project, I have a series of structures which belong to that project, which are displayed in a datasheet view on the project form. I am attempting to allow the user to on double click to navigate to that specific structure which is displayed on another form. Currently I am using filters to implement this behavior, however, this results in the filter being left on, and when I manually turn off the filter, the form I switch to returns back to the first entry.
I am using the current code on the datasheet:

It all depends on what you need to do.
If you want to display all records and navigate to the selected record, then you can use bookmark navigation:

This assumes that the other form is open with all the records loaded.
Another approach to this problem, which I find more useful for popup situations like this, is to just open the other form as a dialog and require it be closed before returning to the calling context. In that case, you'd do this:
DoCmd.OpenForm "MyOtherForm", , , "struct_ID = " & Me!struct_ID, , acDialog
You'd then have to close the other form to get back to the original context.
You might think that with large numbers of records this would be inefficient, but it's actually very fast, as this operation is highly optimized within Access (moreso than filtering an already open form, in fact).
