iTuneConnect : App uploaded for test build but now showing anymore - swift

Currently I am developing an app and I want to send the client a test build , I had successfully archived the app and uploaded on AppStore ... Under the Activity section it was showing "processing" for about an hr or two , now its not showing neither anything nor the app been uploaded. Any idea what went wrong ? Did anybody experienced this kind of problem ?

It is likely that something with your binary is wrong.
You would expect to get notified about that issue in the Activity tab but it seems that (currently) you can only find the invalid build in the App Store tab when selecting a new build.
Also you should have received an email (iTunes Connect account) describing the issue.

Yes ,Some times it take time .
In my case i have wait for 4 hour then it will reflect on itunes connect account.
or you can check build status in a activity .
Please check linked image for references

I got an email from apple saying "This app attempts to access privacy-sensitive data without a usage description. The app's Info.plist must contain an NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription key with a string value explaining to the user how the app uses this data" . I then added some string on NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription and uploaded it , it worked like a charm .

I can't download my iCloud calender anymore

I had a bat file which downloaded my iCloud calendar every hour. the link used was found via the iCloud site (the calendar is public shared). It has an webcal:// url but according to Apple's support you have to change this to http.
Using explorer of chrome, this file does not download.
In Chrome: {"reason":"Invalid or missing Origin header","error":1}
In Explorer: file seems to start, but then it says: "can't download ..."
My bat file:
#echo off
powershell -Command "(New-Object Net.WebClient).DownloadFile('http://p20-calendarws.icloud.com/ca/subscribe/1/...', 'D:\Backup\cal.ics')"
pause
The code above gives me:
Exception calling "downloadfile" with "2" arguments: the remote server returned an error: 421 misdirected request.
This used to work fine, not anymore it seems.
Any thoughts? Anyone else doing something similar?
Tried replacing http with https, but no luck. Searching if iCloud made some changes didn't turn up any results.
Did you recently enable Apple's Two-Factor Authentication? I was getting the same error as you when trying to access a public Apple Calendar from someone's account -- it worked fine and then started giving the "invalid or missing origin header" information. I had that person turn off Two-Factor Authentication and then I regenerated the Public Calendar link (using iCloud.com) and now it works fine. Given that one of Apple's latest updates really started pushing the Two-Factor Authentication, it may have been turned on without fully realizing it (my mom managed to turn it on and didn't even know what it was when I asked her about it).
John
I found a solution to this issue that worked for me.
I had some calendars that had the error
{"reason":"Invalid or missing Origin header","error":1}
and some that didn't. Then I noticed that the ones that I could download without any trouble started with 'webcal://p05-' while those that had the error started with 'webcal://p45-'. So I simply unticked Public Calendar and clicked OK before selecting the calendar again and ticking Public Calendar. If that generates a URL starting with 'webcal://p45-', copy it to the browser and try downloading it, if not, try again until you get the right URL.

Parse Signup Problems

So, I wanted to create a new social media app using Swift and Parse. When I go to the Parse site, and click on dashboard, it gives me a login screen. I don't have an account, so I click on the "I don't have a parse account" button. When I click on that, it just takes me back to the home page. I did manage to get the code and frameworks and stuff that I needed from the docs, but that didn't quite work. It gave me this for the initialize code:
let configuration = ParseClientConfiguration {
$0.applicationId = "YOUR_APP_ID"
$0.server = "http://YOUR_PARSE_SERVER:1337/parse"
}
In the tutorial I'm watching, rather than "YOUR_APP_ID" and "http://YOUR_PARSE_SERVER:1337/parse" it just had a bunch of letters and numbers, which I would assume are the app ID and Parse server. My guess is, that I need an account to get those. Would that be correct? And, does anyone know why I can't seem to get an account? Thanks.
Parse.com is shutting down, so that's why you are not allowed to create new accounts on the service. Check the blog post.
They open sourced a nodeJS implementation, which you should definitely check out at link, and here is an example to get you started. You can easily use the deploy buttons to host the server on services like Heroku, AWS, Azure, etc. You can also deploy a server locally, for testing purposes.
Although it's true that Parse is discontinuing early next year, you can still setup a new app if you want to use the service for a shorter term project. Replace your code with the following.
Parse.setApplicationId("YOUR-APP-ID", clientKey: "YOUR-CLIENT-ID")
You can find your App ID and Client ID in your app's settings > security & keys.
EDIT: You definitely need an account for this to work.

Google Drive Sdk- Audio & Video Streaming in iOS Application

Hi Google Drive Staff,
I have tried to stream video files from Google Drive(Without Downloading). But I gets alerts that Sign In. I have went thoroughly with Dr. Edit sample App but i did not found any solution. I tried with downloadUrl , embedLink, webContentLink, alternateLink. All gives message to sign In. When i tried with exportsLinks i get a Null Message. What is the problem Here. If U have any suggestion Please Let me Know...
I have tried with Google Drive for iOS in iPod, there we can stream Video without Downloading.
Please suggest me to resolve this issue
Thanks in Advance...
I could solve it just by appending the access_token to the download url
audiofile.strPath=[NSString stringWithFormat#"%#&access_token=%#",downloadUrl,accessToken];
pass the strPath to your avplayer object to play music.
I did not try the video part. but i think a similar approach should work.
you can fetch the access token from the GTMOAuth2Authentication object
Note that you might need to refresh it if its expires.
Hope this helps you.
Regards
Nitesh
I think it depends what you mean by "stream". Last time I looked, the download links all had a content disposition: attachment header, which instructs the browser to download rather than render the content.
If you have your own client fetching the url, you can choose to ignore that header and do what you like with the content as it is fetched. imho, it would be nice if the client could add a parameter to the url to indicate to the Google servers that it wants the content to be rendered v. downloaded, but hey ho.
You need to authorize all requests to downloadLinks with an Authorization header. Read more about the authorization and learn how to retrieve your users an access token on https://developers.google.com/drive/about-auth

Facebook Follow Button plugin doesn't allow periods in profile

Trying to set up a follow button with Facebook's plugin here:
https://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/follow/
I've found that any profile url I enter that contains periods (for example, http://www.facebook.com/John.Smith) will return an error.
From the error console I receive
Failed to load resource: The requested URL was not found on this server.
This happens with the HTML5, iframe and URL versions of the plugin. Just out of curiosity I tried encoding the period with %2E, and I also tried using the numeric profile ID, but neither worked.
Is there any other trick I can try to make this work?
I don't think it's a problem with the social plugin. please enter the profile https://www.facebook.com/michael.kamleitner for testing purposes - everything's fine here.
If I open the profile url of John Smith I'm getting an error ("Page not found") - so imho the profile is restricted/not public at all. If it's privacy restricted, you can't use it for the follow-plugin. If you have access to John Smith's account, please double check his follower-settings: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=followers

ref=ts on facebook app url cause app not found error

I've create an facebook app and it run smoothly at
https://apps.facebook.com/icoloringstar/
But the problem is: when I search my app name "icoloring star" in facebook, it link to the app at url:
https://apps.facebook.com/icoloringstar/?fb_source=search&ref=ts
Then facebook said that:
App "iColoring Star" is unavailable
The app "iColoring Star" is temporarily unavailable due to an issue with its third-party developer. We are investigating the situation and apologize for any inconvenience.
We found that url part "ref=ts" cause above problem, but really do not know why?
Could you explain me why and how to resolve this problem?
Thank you very much.
It sounds like your code is failing when the ref parameter is supplied in the request path.
I was able to repro this with any arbitrary value in the ref parameter when accessing your app
Check your server logs and and see if you're returning a 500 error to facebook when the request comes in
See if you have any code that parses a ref parameter and check it's not throwing exceptions
Make sure your callback URL in the app settings doesn't also specify a ref parameter or your app may receive two values and/or fail entirely
It means 'Top Search'. User enter a query into the top of search.
There are some ref parameters.. ref=bookmarks for example. I dont know the full list.
Did you put your app on Facebook App Center?
