I had a bat file which downloaded my iCloud calendar every hour. the link used was found via the iCloud site (the calendar is public shared). It has an webcal:// url but according to Apple's support you have to change this to http.
Using explorer of chrome, this file does not download.
In Chrome: {"reason":"Invalid or missing Origin header","error":1}
In Explorer: file seems to start, but then it says: "can't download ..."
My bat file:
#echo off
powershell -Command "(New-Object Net.WebClient).DownloadFile('http://p20-calendarws.icloud.com/ca/subscribe/1/...', 'D:\Backup\cal.ics')"
pause
The code above gives me:
Exception calling "downloadfile" with "2" arguments: the remote server returned an error: 421 misdirected request.
This used to work fine, not anymore it seems.
Any thoughts? Anyone else doing something similar?
Tried replacing http with https, but no luck. Searching if iCloud made some changes didn't turn up any results.
Did you recently enable Apple's Two-Factor Authentication? I was getting the same error as you when trying to access a public Apple Calendar from someone's account -- it worked fine and then started giving the "invalid or missing origin header" information. I had that person turn off Two-Factor Authentication and then I regenerated the Public Calendar link (using iCloud.com) and now it works fine. Given that one of Apple's latest updates really started pushing the Two-Factor Authentication, it may have been turned on without fully realizing it (my mom managed to turn it on and didn't even know what it was when I asked her about it).

I found a solution to this issue that worked for me.
I had some calendars that had the error
{"reason":"Invalid or missing Origin header","error":1}
and some that didn't. Then I noticed that the ones that I could download without any trouble started with 'webcal://p05-' while those that had the error started with 'webcal://p45-'. So I simply unticked Public Calendar and clicked OK before selecting the calendar again and ticking Public Calendar. If that generates a URL starting with 'webcal://p45-', copy it to the browser and try downloading it, if not, try again until you get the right URL.

On our server-side authentication with Facebook we get a random and weird issue. Facebook calls the call back URL two times with the same code. This is only happening for some users and not on every login.
This is the flow we have implemented on our side: https://developers.facebook.com/…/manually-build-a-login-fl… . We have been using it since the beginning of 2013 and we haven't noticed any issues so far.
And this is the error we get when we are exchanging the code for an access token the second time.
{"error":{"message":"This authorization code has been used.","type":"OAuthException","code":100,"fbtrace_id":"traceID"}}
We tried to log this issue as a bug on https://developers.facebook.com/bugs but unfortunately it doesn't work.
It keeps showing unexpected error. Not to mention that i was unable to find the correct bug category.
Any idea on how we can fix this?
Thanks!
Could it be that users are clicking twice to process auth service? Try disabling the button before calling Facebook auth service
What language are you using?
I just had this problem in Ruby using Devise for Rails. I had created an omniauth.rb initializer file, and added a config line item in the devise.rb initializer file.
If you did this too, you can remove the omniauth.rb initializer file and you should be good to go!
as the title says, I can no longer use friends locations with the graph api explorer any more(in https://developers.facebook.com). Even if I click all access token checkboxes,(trying to get me/friends?fields=locations.fields(place)) I still get error(
{
"error": "Request failed"
}). But me/locations?fields=place works, so it must be someting with "friends" that makes it to crash.
I was able use it 2 weeks ago, and I have not done any changes, it just suddenly stoped working. if I login with my test Account I can get all the parameters I request, but not on my primary account. Is there any one that has any idea what the problem can be? or why it occurred? I have done everything that I can think of, from using diffrent web browers, deleting all history, use diffrent computer. I have compared the settings for both my test account and my main account, both have the same settings.
I am sincerely sorry if i have misspelled anything.
It happens for me as well for any of the locations methods, but the location method with out the s works. I don't know if that data is usable for you.
me/friends?fields=location,hometown
I have figured out the reason to this problem. I has to do with requests from facebook's api, if i lower the Limit per request it works. Then to save the information I use offset.

can anyone help me with this please
There is a 'Fatal error' on your page.
The rendering stops with
var billingRegionUpdater = new RegionUpdater('billing:country_id', 'billing:region', 'billing:region_id',
The error appears in app/design/frontend/{interface}/{theme}/template/checkout/onepage/billing.phtml or in app/design/frontend/{interface}/{theme}/template/persistent/checkout/onepage/billing.phtml (if you have cart persistence enabled).
In both of the cases, for some reason this code gives an error:
<?php echo $this->helper('directory')->getRegionJson() ?>
To find out what the error is you need to enable error reporting and display_errors.
You can do that from index.php.
error_reporting(E_ALL | E_STRICT);
...
ini_set('display_errors', 1);
You can also enable the developer mode by changing this:
if (isset($_SERVER['MAGE_IS_DEVELOPER_MODE'])) {
Mage::setIsDeveloperMode(true);
}
to this
//if (isset($_SERVER['MAGE_IS_DEVELOPER_MODE'])) {
Mage::setIsDeveloperMode(true);
//}
Then try again. If the error does not appear on your screen look at the source of the page.
If the error does not tell you anything update the question with its contents.
Just installed Magento for the first time on my Localhost. And found the same problem. I found the solution in following way:
-- Enabled the error logs in System > Configuration > Developer Tools
-- Then attempted a checkout.
Bam! found the error in var/logs/system.log
The error was due to SOAP. I needed to enable PHP's soap library. And it proceeded well.
Hope it helps someone :)
Trying to set up a follow button with Facebook's plugin here:
https://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/follow/
I've found that any profile url I enter that contains periods (for example, http://www.facebook.com/John.Smith) will return an error.
From the error console I receive
Failed to load resource: The requested URL was not found on this server.
This happens with the HTML5, iframe and URL versions of the plugin. Just out of curiosity I tried encoding the period with %2E, and I also tried using the numeric profile ID, but neither worked.
Is there any other trick I can try to make this work?
I don't think it's a problem with the social plugin. please enter the profile https://www.facebook.com/michael.kamleitner for testing purposes - everything's fine here.
If I open the profile url of John Smith I'm getting an error ("Page not found") - so imho the profile is restricted/not public at all. If it's privacy restricted, you can't use it for the follow-plugin. If you have access to John Smith's account, please double check his follower-settings: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=followers
I'm troubleshooting an issue where the Like button won't work on my site unless the URL is submitted to the Facebook debug tool.
When I hit like I'm seeing two requests fire to comment_widget_shell.php. Once succeeds (302 found), while the other fails, showing a status "(canceled)" and type "pending":
The successful request:
Request URL:http://www.facebook.com/plugins/comment_widget_shell.php?locale=en_US&master_frame_name=f236db264&offsetX=0&sdk=joey
Request Method:GET
Status Code:302 Found
The failed request:
Request URL:https://www.facebook.com/plugins/comment_widget_shell.php?locale=en_US&master_frame_name=f236db264&offsetX=0&sdk=joey
As of the writing of this question, here is an example URL where like fails:

I iniitally thought it was this Stack Overflow issue, as the site runs on a platform somewhat similar to Heroku, but for Drupal (Pantheon) and I can't reproduce the issue locally. However, I contacted Pantheon support and they reported the Heroku limitation does not exist on Pantheon.
I'm not sure what other tools I can use to debug this. My article pages get a clean report from the Facebook Debugger. Any ideas or tips of what I can look deeper into?
I have had pretty good luck with pantheon. If your just trying to get a like button on drupal why not use http://drupal.org/project/fb_social/ I have used this in d7 and d6 and I have never had a problem.
Pantheon should be able to handle a request to facebook for sure
thanks
