When launching Matlab I get huge Error. It says it can't load pathdef.m
When I'm using Windows Explorer I'm not able to open that file either.
I'm using a school computer remotely, which is not supported by the IT department. My instructor lets me use this 'Super-Computer' for heavy calculation and he doesn't wan't to make any changes since there are other users using it simultaneously.
I've been able to just write: "restoredefaultpath;matlabrc" and I'm able to use Matlab again... but without the toolbox I think... and I believe I need it now since I'm not able to use.
h = figure(1);
hold on
[AX,H1,H2]= plotyy(x1,y1,x2,y2);
set(AX,{'XScale'},{'log';'log'})
set(AX,{'ycolor'},{'b';'r'})
legend('Data 1','Data 1')
xlabel('X AXIS')
ylabel(AX(1),'Y1 Axis')
ylabel(AX(2),'Y2 Axis')
grid on
The variable AX is defined as a number instead of a Axes Handle. Is there any way through this?
Here is the full error:

As #excaza says, it must be an IT fault. MatLab is reaching the file, but lacks permissions to open it.

I have been attempting to import a north-america-latest.osm.pbf (from Geofabrik) into a Postgres database for some time. After reviewing the wiki detailed usage page thoroughly, I set the database to include all necessary tables (pgSnapshot) via the included sql scripts. I also made sure that osmosis was functioning as intended by running a smaller file (Antarctica) through, and I got the results I expected. However, when I attempt to do the same process with the north america file, I get an error that is dissimilar to others that have been reported on the web. I am trying to get this data onto a server, uploads to my local seem to be fine.
Here's my code (via command prompt) :
C:\Users\eddie\Desktop>osmosis --read-pbf-fast north-america-latest.osm.pbf --log-progress interval=3000 --write-pgsql nodeLocationStoreType="TempFile" host=1*.8*.*.*0* database=osm postgresSchema=osm_updates user=eddie password=***
Here is the error message I get:

I am running osmosis .46, Postgres/PostGis 10/2.4 on Windows 10 with 12GB of RAM and 2 Intel 2.4GHz processors.
UPDATE: the error now occurs even when I run smaller files. Additionally, osmosis behaves as if it is processing a larger file (reaches node 4614331685 for Antarctica) as seen through the progress logger messages. An upload of OSM data for Canada to my local went through without any issues, so the problem probably has to do with the server I am trying to connect to. If anyone has any clues as to how to decipher the error message though, I'd like to hear them!
I got osmosis to work by taking #mmd 's advice of turning off the schema validation. Even though I ran the pgsnapshot scripts and had been successful putting data there before, something about doing all of north america seemed to throw it off. I'll update this answer after subsequent database updates.
I'm trying to connect my Raspberry Pi using Android Thing to Firebase Storage. I keep getting the attached exception. The Storage Rules are completely public no auth needed. Has anyone else received this error and found a workaround?

A few things to check:
1) Make sure that you have network (you likely already do since you're trying to reach Firebase) e.g. 'ifconfig'
2) Make sure that DNS is working e.g. 'ping ...' something
3) Check system time to see if it's synced to current rather than 1970 e.g. 'date'; you can manually set it current as a workaround
If for any of the above reasons that time is not set properly, your SSL cert probably won't work.

I wonder what do I need to change - I see this problem first time et al.
I see that the name "SpaceType$1" is not ordinary name, but it is called in generated java code...

This exception is caused due to space settings are locked for the Child agent type (Robot). It cannot be an environment (continuous or discrete) for the embedded agents if Parent agent type (AnimatedObject) does not play a role of an environment for any population of agents. However, GIS space is handled correctly because space settings are defined by GIS map. You need to put a dummy population of agents into the Parent agent type to resolve the problem.

I couldn't find what was wrong. The default values I entered (in the yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss format) for the report parameters are ok, and the report is generated correctly. However, when starting the debugger they are entered under a different format (MMMM d, y h:mm:ss). If I leave them like that I get the exception. If I change them to the yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss format I still get the exception. Is this a known BIRT issue, or am I doing something wrong?
I was able to bypass this issue by hard-coding these values within the SQL query (and removing the datetime report parameters). But after I did that, another exception appeared:

Have you encountered this issue before? What do you suggest I do to fix it?
I did as suggested:
Changed to the standard 'Debug' perspective
Under the full 'Run' menu, opened 'Debug Configurations'
I changed the "Temp Folder" entry to a directory OUTSIDE my Windows User Account (ie something under the C-drive, say: C:\Temp\Birt). I created the specified directory.
Then Eclipse debugging worked.
I ran into the same FileNotFoundException as you today and I found a solution.
The reason for the exception is that the file path is absolute and tries to save a temporary file in / where it doesn't have write permission. A workaround for this is to simply create the file (/StandardOCE_PRS2_OperatorProductivity.rptdesign.html in your case. I assume you are on Linux) and make it writable by the user that runs Eclipse. That will get you past this error, but I just got another one right after that, so this wasn't a good solution for me. I think this is obviously a bug in the BIRT plugin, as it should have used /tmp for this. It even seems to be configured in the Debug Configuration, but doesn't use it.
I then tried to find out how to change the Debug configuration. Eclipse hides this from you in the Report Design perspective so I was confused for a while, but if you change to the Java perspective you will see the Debug button and the full Run menu. Open Debug Configurations from the button or the menu and you will see the configurations that the BIRT Plugin created for you earlier.
If I then run it from there it uses the /tmp directory as it should and debugging works. And now you can also play around with the Debug Configuration. Might be useful! :-)
I agree with Harrys solution.
The root cause is that the fallback to the configured temp folder is only evaluated if a Debug Configuration has been created in Eclipse. If a Debug Configuration was added for that report, the pre-filled Temp Folder works well (user's temp folder). Just create a Debug Configuration without modifying anything, and it works.
If NO Debug Configuration is present for that report, Eclipse is not using the default mentioned above. This is the bug.
I am trying to deploy my gwt app to tomcat6 under ubuntu 9.10 and get
the (i suppose known to many of you)
"java.security.AccessControlException: access denied" error (Full
exception can be found at the end). I have searched the net in general and found that the Java default security
permissions are preventing the serializer from accessing my classes
private members (they do have getters and setters) and that i should
add to tomcat policy with a file at /etc/tomcat6/policy.d/60gwt.policy
the following:
grant codeBase "file:/var/lib/tomcat6/webapps/-" {
permission java.security.AllPermission;
}
Although i have done that (and i understand the implications) i still
get the same error, no matter how many times i restart the server. The
next step would problably be to disable tomcats security manager
completely but this app will eventually go into production and i d
like to know what's going on here. Also, i'd rather not make any
member variables public...
Any ideas?
cheers

Well anyway: GWT can not serialize this kind of exception because the type is not available in the emulated JRE library. So either you define it yourself via en supersource or you hande the exception on the server and make sure that you only throw supported exceptions.
