Images currently are not handled by the extension-builder.
I am looking for a kind of "f:form", where I can store the image file name with the submit function, inside FormFields.html.
If I use f:form.textfield I get in trouble with format.
I already tries
...originalResource.url and
...originalResource.name
I am using TYPO3 7.6.14
How I have to handle this task?
Implementing a File Upload with FAL in Extbase is not that easy. Here is an example extension in Github - mostly I do it like there: https://github.com/helhum/upload_example
But be warned: It's not for beginners...

I am wondering how I can generate a pdf in an extbase extension. What I wanting to do is the following: On saving a record in the backend also a pdf with the data of my record should be generated an saved in the fileadmin for instance.
I have found frontend solutions for generating pdfs with special fluid viewhelpers primarily, but I need it in the backend when the editor saves a record.
Are there any common solutions in extbase for this?
Generating PDFs has no common solution in TYPO3.
Alas you have the option to hook in most actions to use an additional library to generate a PDF of the data you are processing.

I'm trying to find a solution for files uploading directly with TinyMCE. Imagine creating a list of pdf files by uploading them using a custom button.
Is there something already done I can use? collective.clipboardupload seems to be a solution only for images.
collective.quickupload serves us well for such purposes and has a very good UI.
You can add that gadget as a portlet and make it only visible in edit-mode via CSS.
In our case we assigned the portlet to a certain content-type ('Gallery') instead to a location.
MoxieManager may be what you're looking for. It's a premium plugin made by the same developers as TinyMCE itself.

Try to use reponsive file manager :

I have installed TYPO3 on my web server and it use the "Introduction Package" template.
The problem is that I have to work on another TYPO3 online website that use a custom template.
Can I obtain the template of the online website and use it on my local website? (to perform some test in local).
I saw that TYPO3 uses various templating systems and I do not know how this could affect the export\import operation. In Joomla or WP I simply take the template directory and then I copy it into the themes directory but I think that in TYPO3 this operation could be more complex.
The fastest way is to copy these directories:
fileadmin
uploads
typo3conf/ext
and the complete database, then you have "cloned" the original website locally. (assuming that the core stuff is loaded the default way, with symlinks)
Then you just need to edit the database connection stuff and maybe some paths for image magick and so on in the typo3conf/LocalConfiguration.php.
I have this problem:
I want to make an interface where the user can drag and drop file uploads. Filepicker.io provides an easy solution to this in the form of filepicker.makeDropPane. However, this feature does not support parallel uploads without the callbacks getting confused.
So I would like to write my own drag/drop interface using standard html5 listeners, and make a direct api upload call to filepicker.io with the actual file data in string form. This way I can write the management of parallel uploads on my own.
Does filepicker.io have an api call that would allow me to do this? I only see these two things:
1) File selection modal
2) Auto drag-drop features
I don't see a way to simply upload a file directly from file data.
What can I do?
You should make use of the filepicker.store() command, which accepts a DOM file object. For example:
var input = document.getElementById("store-input");
filepicker.store(input, function(FPFile){/*your code here*/});

I am new in Zend Framework and learning it. I want to upload image into my database and display that image in view page. I search lots of tutorial but no step by step guidance. Want a help. Thanks in advance.
You need to take a look on Zend_Form_Element_File in Zend documentation:
The File form element provides a mechanism for supplying file upload
fields to your form. It utilizes Zend_File_Transfer internally to
provide this functionality, and the FormFile view helper as also the
File decorator to display the form element. By default, it uses the
Http transfer adapter, which introspects the $_FILES array and allows
you to attach validators and filters. Validators and filters attached
to the form element are in turn attached to the transfer adapter.
Database side, you need to use a BLOB type to hold your image (I assume you're using MySQL).
However, note that best practices are to store the image path in the database instead of the image itself.
At last, there are tons of tutorials out there that explains precisely how to do what you're looking for, you just need to look for "file upload using zend element file" and you will find them!
