Plone: TinyMCE upload files - tinymce

I'm trying to find a solution for files uploading directly with TinyMCE. Imagine creating a list of pdf files by uploading them using a custom button.
Is there something already done I can use? collective.clipboardupload seems to be a solution only for images.

collective.quickupload serves us well for such purposes and has a very good UI.
You can add that gadget as a portlet and make it only visible in edit-mode via CSS.
In our case we assigned the portlet to a certain content-type ('Gallery') instead to a location.

MoxieManager may be what you're looking for. It's a premium plugin made by the same developers as TinyMCE itself.

Try to use reponsive file manager :

Reusing content of an external webpage in DITA-OT

I tried different method to include the content of an external webpage by url in dita files without success. Is it possible to do it? I can add references to my dita files:
<related-links>
<link href="http://example.com" format="html" scope="external"/>
</related-links>
however I am not able to ddisplay the content of the page in oXygen.
tl;dr: It depends on the external sources and on your publication targets. If you want to publish to PDF, your content needs to be available offline.
What do you exactly mean with content? You can use external sources, e.g. images, if you just publish to html5. Just use the image URL in the href. If you publish to pdf, it would not work. The DITA-OT does not download things for you. Most websites are dynamic, so content is not very static so it may not work as you might expect. Maybe the external website has an API to gather the data you need. Or maybe it would be safer to use the depend.preprocess.pre extension point to hook in an Ant Target to download the external sources via <get> or curl. Another approach would be dita-glass for on-the-fly conversion. But, it depends...

How to upload an image with jquery in all browsers

I am currently creating a form that involves a file uploader. Currently
my form is fine just using multipart and post but later on in future iterations
it will be necessary for the form to be posted with ajax in order to edit the
image before submitting the form.
I have seen a lot of things about multiple files like jquery-file-upload and swf
and php with uploadify and a whole host of non IE 7+ solutions. However those are
not going to work for this specific project and I am really just looking for the bare
bones nothing fancy to have to deal with just sends the image data to an endpoint.
What is the best way to do this in a way that can support all browsers.
=====EDIT=====
I havent tested this completely yet but this solution seems good to me
https://github.com/francois2metz/html5-formdata
Fine Uploader is a library that provides the ability to support cross-browser uploading. Ajax/xhr post requests are used for all browsers that support the file api. Otherwise, a form-based upload method is used. No flash is used or needed. This is all transparent to the user. Check out fineuploader.com for more details.
You can't send file through AJAX request this is just impossible. If you use HTML5 File API that would work but as you stated in your question you need to support old browsers. So I think you either have to use flash (uploadify uses flash as well) or you don't have any other option.

Upload images with tinyMce

I have this plugin advImage which I use in tinyMce. I want the user to be able to upload images from his own computer. However, the plugin only allows images which are on the server to be uploaded. How can I change this? If I choose an image from my desktop for uploading, the path is Content/documents/editorImages/myImage.jpg. How to change this?
This might be what you are looking for. Give it a try.
There exists a plugin named MCImageManager from the developers of tinymce, but this is not free.

How to edit content more easily?

i add content to my confluence page like a html
inside {html} tags. This page will be changed in future every week. It very difficult to understand html so quick for people who never don't work with html.
Is there any way in confluence to add a simple user interface form which helps to edit information inside html?
I know that confluence have embedded jQuery can anybody give advice how to do it better?
Thanks
Use the scaffolding plugin to Show only some special text fields for editing. Then you can hide the HTML code. But scaffolding is not ready for Confluence 4
http://wiki.customware.net/repository/display/AtlassianPlugins/Scaffolding+Plugin
You could download the page with Atlassian CLI, and parse out the section of html you want to modify, put that in your wysiwyg, and then inject it back into the downloaded html and post it back.
Of course it is as fun as it sounds.
An example of the content would help to answer this question.
One option is to put your content in a word .doc file, save it, upload it to the page. Use the office connector macro to display the content of the .doc on the page. The office connector plugin is free.
Note that Confluence V5 editor now has a basic set of editing features found in Microsoft Word.

How can I simply add a downloadable PDF file to my page?

I want to add a pdf and word format of my resume to my portfolio page and make it downloadable. Does anyone have some simple script?
Add a link to the file and let the browser handle the download.
You may be over-complicating the problem. It's possible to use a href pointing to the location of the .pdf or .doc file, when a user clicks on this in their browser, generally they will be asked if they would like to save or open the file, depending on their OS/configuration.
If this is still confusing, leave a comment and I'll explain anything you don't get.
Create the PDF. Upload it. Add a link.
Save yourself 30 minutes tossing around with PDFGEN code.
You will want to issue or employ the Content-Disposition HTTP header to force the download otherwise some browsers may recognize the common file extensions and try to automatically open the file contents. It will feel more professional if the link actually downloads the file instead of launching an app - important for a resume I think.
Content-Disposition must be generated within the page from the server side as far as I know.
Option:
Upload your resume to Google Docs.
Add a link to the file on your portfolio page just as I do in the menu of my blog:
Use Google Docs Viewer passing to it the URL of the PDF as you can see in this link.
