PayPal Developer App/APi Credentials - paypal

I am creating a PayPal gateway for a store/shopping cart created for a CMS. Once completed, the gateway will be made available to others.
Do the API credentials (Client ID and Secret) created in my Developer account stay with the app or will everyone who uses my app be required to have API credentials of their own?

Everyone will need to supply their own client ID and secret. The client ID and secret point to your PayPal account, so it's not a good idea to include those in your app.

Paypal Rest API on webshop provided to third party companies

Background
We are developing a webshop that we sell to other companies.
The companies hosts the webshops and sell their products on their own servers.
The webshop uses the Paypal Rest API for the customers to make payments.
https://developer.paypal.com/docs/api/
To activate Paypal as a payments method the companies provide their Paypal details in the webshop admin area.
How we do it now
Right now the companies need to create a Paypal Developer account, and then create a new App in developer.paypal.com to get their own Client ID and Client Secret Code.
They then provide their Client ID and Client Secret Code in the webshop admin area.
Question
Is this the correct way to do it?
We think it feels a bit strange to tell our customers (the companies) to create "Developer Accounts" in Paypal, when they are not actually developers, just webshop owners selling their products.
I found this information about setting a parameter called "payee", which means you can set the receiver of the payments, see: https://devblog.paypal.com/setting-payee/ and https://developer.paypal.com/docs/api/payments/#definition-payee
Is it possible to use the "payee" as a solution instead, like this?:
We as developers of the webshop have a Paypal developer account, and provide our Client ID and Client Secret Code, which are then used in all our customers webshops? Then the companies would only need to provide their Paypal Account Email in the webshop admin area, which is then used as the "payee" parameter.
Is this a good and ok solution? Or is the same App, Client ID and Client Secret Code not allowed to be used for multiple companies and their webshops? How can we solve this then?
Thanks!
This is solved after communication with PayPal support.
This is some information from the communication that answers my questions:
"Do not use then the payee field as you will be able to deal with all the transactions created, that you don't want as you are an external "actor" in the payment process."
"About creating a developer account and App it does not mean that they are developers. The developer portal is a tool that allow to manage the Apps and deal with Sandbox test accounts. It is the only way to create an App."
So the conclusion is that we are doing it the correct way today, which is like this:
"Right now the companies need to create a Paypal Developer account, and then create a new App in developer.paypal.com to get their own Client ID and Client Secret Code.
They then provide their Client ID and Client Secret Code in the webshop admin area."

Find paypal api credential

I already build a paypal account and then
I created Sandbox Test Accounts in "https://developer.paypal.com/developer/accounts/",
1 personal account and
1 business account.
now I want to use below credential where can I find these.
PAYPAL_USERNAME
PAYPAL_PASSWORD
PAYPAL_SIGNATURE
PAYPAL_MERCHANT_ID
PAYPAL_BUSINESS
PAYPAL_CERT_ID
please help me out, I am new in paypal api
PayPal is having pretty good documentation.
To create API Username, API Password, Signature follow the steps
Select Profile on the right side of page -- Select Profile and settings
From left menu, select My selling tools
In selling online section, click Update link for API access item
Click on Request API Credentials on the API Access page
Select Request API signature and click Agree and Submit to generate the API signature
more details here
The only things you should need are a client id and secret. This will enable you to make REST api calls. If you're new to PayPal APIs, the REST api is where you should be starting.
Please see https://developer.paypal.com/docs/integration/direct/make-your-first-call/

how can I monitor sandboxed PayPal NVP service calls in developer portal?

I see in executing the ruby sample from the github.com/paypal/adaptivepayments-sdk-ruby/blob/master/README.md that tests against the App ID APP-80W284485P519543T will succeed, no matter what credentials are configured.
Moreover, I gather from the 'FOR APP TESTING' message at the bottom of the welcome page to the Adaptive Payments Developer Apps portal, www.paypal-apps.com/user/my-account/applications, that it is not possible to set up a PayPal NVP test account with dummy user accounts:
Does this mean, then, that transactions from sandboxed use of PayPal NVP services cannot be configured to show at developer.paypal.com/developer/dashboard/sandbox?
In developer.paypal.com dashboard => Sandbox=>Transactions, it only list REST API transactions. There is no place to show NPV service API calls in developer website. you need to login sandbox.paypal.com to check the transaction list.

Paypal Advanced Testing without Paypal Manager account

i have sandbox account.
i need to create Secure Token ID and Secure Token to test paypal advanced ,
where to get Secure Token ID and Secure Token?
is manager account is must needed for testing ?!
Yes, for implementing Secure token you need to have a manger account with payflow link or paylfow pro.
You can run the transactions in manager account with test(similar to sandbox in paypal)

What username/password/signature should I be using for the PayPal Sandbox?

I'm trying to refund transactions using the Paypal NVP API. I've got some payments in a sandbox account, but when I try to issue a refund though the API I get You do not have permissions to make this API call. But I'm not sure what credentials I should be using.
According to the documentation, it says:
To access the PayPal API, you need API credentials, either an API
signature or API certificate, that identify you. Use the following
sample API signature and password in your sample programs that run in
the PayPal Sandbox test environment.
API username sdk-three_api1.sdk.com
API password QFZCWN5HZM8VBG7Q
API signature A‑IzJhZZjhg29XQ2qnhapuwxIDzyAZQ92FRP5dqBzVesOkzbdUONzmOU
I tried generating API credentials for the sandbox merchant account that's issuing the refunds, but the Paypal website crashes every time I try. Are these the correct credentials? What do I need to do to test this?
Your test accounts do not have credentials.
To get started with Payment Card in Sandbox, you must first create a buyer test account and enable in-store checkout.
After login sandbox you will find that option in menu API and Payment Card Credentials
and then click it you will get option Create Test Account and after create account you will get API Username, API Password and Signature.
Use those API Username, API Password and Signature in your application.
I found these details in my account after logging in:
go to the sandbox tab
below this you will find Accounts. Click on Accounts.
All your email lists will be shown.
Click on the email id that belongs to the Business account.
You will see two options: profile and notifications below the email id's.
After clicking on profile one window will pop up with name Account details.
In that you will see the tab API Credentials. In this you will find your username, password and signature. Please note : You will find these details only in your Business type account, not for buyer type.
