The service instance cannot be created because paid service plans are not allowed - ibm-cloud

I would like to use the dedicated bluemix for a streaming analytics POC. When I try to create the service I get this message.
The service instance cannot be created because paid service plans are not allowed.
What can I do to address.
Thanks,
j

You probably have a Bluemix free trial account.
With a free account you are limited to create services that offer a free plan only.
If you are trying to create a service from a paid plan you need to upgrade your account to a paid account.
You can see different types of accounts in the link below:

error while creating a new logging instance in LogDNA on IBM cloud

I tried to create a new logging instance on LogDNA service on IBM cloud , although I chose lite plan
It is always failing with error message
Your account does not allow the use of non-lite plans. You can upgrade by adding a credit card to your account or you can select the lite plan if it's available.
This is a bug, it is being addressed. You could work around this by upgrading your account with a credit card. No charges will be assessed for the free lite plan for the logging with logdna service. Or you can wait for the problem to be addressed.

Blaze Plan. Billing account not configured. External network is not accessible

When trying to send mail with nodemailer library inside Firebase Cloud Function. I'm getting error:
Billing account not configured. External network is not accessible and quotas are severely limited. Configure billing account to remove these restrictions
I'm on Blaze (Pay as you go) plan.
I have same errors recently due to an expirated card, so i replace with fresh new card but errors persist Billing account not configured. External network is not accessible and quotas are severely limited. Configure billing account to remove these restrictions
So i revert to Spark plan and return to Blaze Plan
After that all it's working

Don't have a default resource group in IBM Cloud

I am using a lite account, where there should be a default resource group.
However, there is nothing in manage > resource groups.
Definitely, I can not create a new one in a lite account.
How can I solve this problem?
By the way, I have verified IBM account by email

Unable to create Kubernetes Cluster on IBM Bluemix

I have been trying to create a Kubernetes Cluster with my Bluemix account owner but always getting the following error upon creation:
IBM Cloud Infrastructure exception: Your account is currently prohibited from order 'Computing Instances'.
Any idea what the issue is? There seems to be no direct way to getting support from Public Bluemix to address this issue. We opened a ticket but it has not been addressed.
You should contact IBM Bluemix Support for this kind of question. Before you login to the Bluemix Console, there is a Support link.
From the look of the exception. It seen like you are trying to create a "second" kubernetes cluster. If this is what you are trying to do, you will need a SoftLayer account; or your ID in your SoftLayer account is not setup properly.
You need admin rights to create clusters in Bluemix. Just makes sure that you get the admin status and it should work for you. The normal permissions granted to you are that of an user. Hope this helps

Creating multiple users in Bluemix Biginsight to test Knox service

I have created a space and a BigInsight cluster on Bluemix. In order to test Knox, I need multiple users for authentication. Is it possible to create users in Bluemix Biginsight service? The ID that is provided to access the cluster does not have root access. Also, it would be helpful if someone can explain in detail how the admin-related task(adding more components like Hue,Drill using yum commands) could be performed in Bluemix Biginsights service. Thanks in advance.
I am guessing here that you have created a Bluemix Biginsights Basic (Beta) plan.
This service is a single user service and cannot have multiple users.
In addition this service is a managed service and installation of software by the user is not allowed.
This service comes with preconfigured settings and pre-installed softwares that is fixed. If you do need something apart from this, I would suggest to open a Biginsights service ticket through Bluemix Support page with a request for it and why you need the software.
The product management team will look at it and see if they can be preinstalled in the future release.
These installations will not be done on a any Basic (Beta) plan for individual clusters.
