working for a big media company in Switzerland, we publish our website articles under our main domain - domain.ch
every article has a unique URL - domain.ch/my-example-article
because of regional needs, we have three facebook pages for every big city. our wish is to publish the website article as an instant article for every facebook page. as the article has one unique url, you can only publish the article for one facebook page (read in fb specs). indeed its possible to publish the article on every facebook page, but any action on the instant article is then transfered to the others.
example
disable instant article on facebook page 1, will also disable the same article on facebbok page 2.
problem/usecase
article is published on facebook page 1. facebook page 2 is posting the article in their newsfeed.
on facebook page 2 wall you will see the article (image and title), but next to the flash icon you will see the name of facebook page 1.
goal
how to work only with on article our website with a unique url, but publish the article independent from each other on multiple facebook pages?
workaround
only workaround possible at the moment, is having the article three times on our website, with three different urls. domain.ch/my-example-article-{city}.
as this workaround is not clean in any way and we dont want to have the article copied only for this usecase, we are searching for better solution.
anybody faced this usecase or has a proposal for this?

How do I connect a page on my website to post on facebook

I was searching for a while, but probably I'm just not using the right keywords.
Right now I have two separate things:
1) Articles on my website. Each article has a facebook like/recommend this article button at the end of the article. I.e. you can scroll to the bottom of the article here - http://www.thecheers.org/Travel/article_4915_Ryanair---how-can-they-fly-with-their-prices.html - you'll probably see that there's a text next to the button saying that "13 people recommend this".
2) I have a facebook page which has also posted a link to this article there. The post on Facebook page has a couple of likes.
The question - how can I make it so that when someone clicks the Recommend button on my website, it would also update the number of post likes on my facebook page? Keeping in mind that I am not talking about Facebook page likes but individual facebook post/article likes.
Any ideas? IN theory, it sounds like it should be easy...yet right now it doesn't really look like it.
Number of likes on a Facebook publication can be only increased by "real people" liking via Facebook. No third-party integration or API can deal with likes counter.

How do I publish a blog post to facebook so that the likes and comments are merged?

I have a wordpress blog. Is it possible to publish a link to facebook so that the published link on my facebook business page has the same like counter as the one on the blog?
Also, can the comments section be the same? (i.e. if I post the link on facebook, when someone comments, it automatically updates the comments section of the blog post and vice versa?)
This is not possible, each set of likes and comments are independent. There is no way to perform a merge of this data currently.
The Facebook Wordpress plugin provides essentially most of what you can do currently to link Wordpress to the Facebook API http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/facebook
You can't link the like counter of your posts and pages to your Facebook page, why? They're all separate post and pages. It only makes sense.
What you can do? You can announce your post on Facebook (timeline or business page) and all can comment on it. You can add Facebook comments to your posts and pages. The commenter has the choice of that comment showing up in his Facebook timeline. People can "like" the post announcement, or the post itself if you have the Like button on it. They both act separately because for people to actually like your post, they have to visit the page. For analytics it makes sense because you want to know who is in your Facebook page and who actually clicks to visit your site. Both are not the same, and that's the point.
If you want to actually merge your site with Facebook, it will have to be in the form of a Facebook app. If that's the direction you want to take, I believe you can find some help here on the matter.

Get Facebook referral URL in Google Analytics

In my Google Analytics reports I get "facebook.com / referral" as the source. Is it possible to get the exact URL?
I don't think it's possible. as #yahelc pointed on a previous comment most traffic from facebook goes through a facebook controlled redirect on page facebook.com/l.php .So if you want to have campaigns on facebook you can use urls with campaign query parameters to keep track of it.

Now they will show up in GA as a separate campaign and you can tell how many visitors come from that specific link. You probably want to minify that link using bit.ly or goo.gl.
Create multiple campaigns on facebook and change the utm_campaign parameter as much as you want. You can also create different utm_content parameter to separate your marketing efforts on facebook. Keep the utm_medium and utm_source as static as on the example above.
This is how social marketing analytics measures marketing efforts on social networks. Anything that comes from facebook is not tagged you know comes from people posting links to your site other than you.
At the same time it really makes no sense to have the referral url at all. If you think about it most of the times it will be from private posts that you don't even have access to see, even if you had a url for it. That's just not the way facebook works. It doesn't have pages, it has streams and posts.

The answer is yes and no. You can drill down to referral path for facebook source in the report Traffic Sources -> Sources -> Refferals by simply pressing facebook.com at the Source coloumn, just like for all other visits from the referring site.
But that would be not much of a use, because for facebook you'll always see /l.php. And that's how facebook works, it doesn't allow visitors to visit the link immedeately, instead it redirects user to the page with url facebook.com/l.php?u=<link-to-your-site.com> with a redirect or maybe with some text like "if you're sure you want to leave", so technically, the referring page would be this /l.php that GA shows.
So if you need to track the efficency of your Facebook activities - use utm tags, like #Eduardo Cereto mentioned. How can I like a post/comment in facebook fan page from my custom website

I am importing the posts and comments in my FB fan page to my custom website. I am importing using graph api. In the response array I am getting two types of action URL for "comments" and "likes".

How can I like these posts or comments from my website? Is there any solution for that?
I think--I'm no expert here--that redirects such as this are controlled by Facebook, with a cross-site scripting policy file on their servers that say whether or not they will allow redirects and to who. On my website for example I allow anybody to cross link, since I'm just a little guy, but I bet Facebook only allows it with preferred partners like various corporations, see the story below. That would be my best guess.

Facebook appears to have added cross-linking between Pages and other location-based sites like Foursquare, Yelp, Gowalla and SCVNGR to its Pages, reports Scribbal. Tech evangelist Robert Scoble posted a notice on his Google+ profile earlier today that indicated a new partnership between Foursquare and Facebook as the Page for a place was shown to direct viewers to the comparable location on Foursquare.
The links appear off to the left underneath the ‘Like’ count and checkin count on a location’s page. The only question that remains is whether the users are activating these connections themselves or if it is something that is done automatically. This could be Facebook’s plan to integrate itself with other location sites now that it has distributed the Facebook Places features throughout its framework.
Facebook has been on a tear lately, adding the Subscribe button and smart Friends list features just this week, as well as Facebook integration into the new Skype for Mac. It is clearly making an effort to maintain its lead over Google+ as the preeminent social network and it doesn’t want lack of features to be a reason for anyone to quit it.

tight integration between blog and facebook page

I have a self-hosted wordpress blog that I would like to get some more interaction with facebook users. Of course I can import the RSS to the page, and people will be able to post comments on fb, or click on the RSS link and post comments on the blog.
However, I would like to have all comments always be appearing on the blog – and potentially post blog entries to facebook so they get posted in full, and not just as a link to an RSS feed.
How is that possible?
You could look into the Facebook comments for Wordpress, I haven't used the plugin yet but I think it offers the solution you're looking for.
To publish your full articles on Facbook, take a look at the Facebook Static FBML. This Facebook application lets you import rss feeds wile keeping control over the layout.
Don't know if this is what your looking for but I would go with some plugins and the Facebook app.
