Suppose we have a page and it has header and footer links. For which we can edit the value using the header/footer dialogs of the components. Now, I want to check that who all have updated those links in any specific environment. How can I check that?
From the page properties, it just shows who made the last update (cq:lastModifiedBy property), but I need the specific versions/history of the page.
Do you want to check this in AEM or in your Code?
The sitekick provides a list with versions that have been created. See the official documentation.
If you want to load versions in AEM, please have a look at this (older) Blog post which describes how to use the VersionManger to work with Versions.
Versions are stored in /jcr:system/jcr:versionStorage within a node named by the first letters of the UUID assigned to a page (jcr:uuid)
Hi I tried using bulk editor to get the list of Pages from a particular path
But it returned both activated and deactivated page. I need only the Activated pages
I gave Custom Properties / Columns as cq:lastReplicationAction . This gave a column with values Activated & deactivated is there a way to get only activated pages alone in bulk editor
Try this:
http://localhost:4502/etc/importers/bulkeditor.html?rootPath=/content/geometrixx-outdoors/en&queryParams=%22jcr:content/cq:lastReplicationAction%22:Activate%20type:Page&initialSearch=true
Refer to this doc:
https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/cq/5-6-1/administering/bulk_editor.html
Or read the source code in CRX/De for more details:
See source code here:
/libs/wcm/core/components/bulkeditor/bulkeditor.jsp
Tested in AEM 5.6.1. Should work in 6.X as well.
Cheers!
I am learning TYPO3 and extensions, for now, I've created a test extension about image uploading, handling and showing.
I have done the Backend for upload a new image, show a list, and edit image properties (once selected). This part is already implemented and working.
Now I am missing the "include" part, I mean, to insert an image in page via Insert Plugin on BackEnd.
My problem: When I select insert plugin, and I manually select my registered plugin, I want to render there a fluid template with options, image list, and so.
These options are for the user to select an image, a size, and so, for it to be shown in selected page.
I don't know which method have typo3 for showing templates in that part, so I am requesting a hint from where to config a template to be used there by TYPO3.
Note: This is not about asking implementations, just a hint to start and implement it myself.
You should not code that on your own.
I guess you are looking for TCA. In special for your Plugin you are looking for "flexforms". I guess this wiki page can help you get started with some examples.
In my Plone 4.2 site the DatePicker (e.g. when adding a new "event") displays as YEAR MONTH DAY
However, I do have a German Website, where it should be the other way around. That is:
DAY MONTH YEAR. How can I change this?
PS German is already selected as default language from Plone's language control panel.
PPS I don't know if this is related in any way, but since this might be a localisation issue, I'd rather tell: I use raptus.multilanguageplone
edit: added correct image link | say, that this happens when adding/editing a new event
I can't see the image you added because the URL is expired. so I'm going to assume you mean for the add/edit form of an Archetype (In Plone 4.2 the default types are all Archetypes).
There seems to be no easy fix such as a site-wide setting in the control panel, but you can change the ordering in the calendar_macros.pt template. This however means you'll have to change the raw HTML.
To do this, you'll have to go to the Zope Management Interface (reached via the Site Setup page "Plone/##overview-controlpanel").
Then click on the "portal_skins tool" and then "plone_templates". Then click on "calendar_macros" and then click the "Customize" button.
Now you can change the ordering in the raw HTML/TAL.
On a website, I have a section where I put a new page every week. I'd like to convert this to a system using tt_news. How do you suggest me to import the pages (more than 100 pages) to tt_news? Can I do it using a simple SQL query, or should I write a custom PHP script to perform the importation? Is there already an extension that exists that could help me performing this task?
It doesn't really matter to me if I simply build news liked to existing pages, or if I transfer the content of the page to the content of the news. It would be great if I can convert the page title to the news publish date, but I could use the page publishing date as well.
What do you suggest for performing this task?
I would do it via SQL as you mentioned already. Could get tricky if you have multiple content-elements per page that needs to be merged into one tt_news-dataset.
You could also install an extension, that links tt_content-elements with tt_news-records. This way you only have to insert the tt_news-records by traversing the pages and link the content per page to the new tt_news-record. Here are some extension, that link tt_news with content-elements:
ttnews_irre
aba_ttnews_content_con
Here is also an extension that could be worth a look: content2news.
Hope this is useful to you.
Best regards,
Peter
