Hi I tried using bulk editor to get the list of Pages from a particular path
But it returned both activated and deactivated page. I need only the Activated pages
I gave Custom Properties / Columns as cq:lastReplicationAction . This gave a column with values Activated & deactivated is there a way to get only activated pages alone in bulk editor
Try this:
http://localhost:4502/etc/importers/bulkeditor.html?rootPath=/content/geometrixx-outdoors/en&queryParams=%22jcr:content/cq:lastReplicationAction%22:Activate%20type:Page&initialSearch=true
Refer to this doc:
https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/cq/5-6-1/administering/bulk_editor.html
Or read the source code in CRX/De for more details:
See source code here:
/libs/wcm/core/components/bulkeditor/bulkeditor.jsp
Tested in AEM 5.6.1. Should work in 6.X as well.
Cheers!

First foremost: I am aware that this is not a general Typo3 bug/error per se, as I have working installations. I am hoping for hints/help in finding the error in this installation, as it's way too big to just set it up as a new installation.
I have an erronous Typo3 10.4.17 installation (updated to 10.4.x, no fresh install)
Problem: Edited elements in workspace are not shown in the Frontend preview (opened via "Show webpage" or other basic means in BE) nor in the BE View-module.
Additional info #1: They are however shown when preview links are generated via "Generate page preview links" and those are viewed.
Additional info #2: Changed elements only become visible after publishing them & clearing Cache
Additional info #3: Clearing any Cache does not make them visible in the preview
After comparing all settings I could think of to another working installation I decided to delve into the core in search for a hint/solution and got stuck there at following point:
TYPO3\CMS\Workspaces\Controller\PreviewController
Line 130 $workspaceItemsArray = $this->workspaceService->selectVersionsInWorkspace()
As well as:
TYPO3\CMS\Workspaces\Service\WorkspaceService
Line 220 public function selectVersionsInWorkspace()
At this point my edited workspace version of the element does get retrieved. selectVersionsInWorkspace() does get called when viewing the preview.
While the PreviewController does not further filter the staged elements, they are not displayed in the Preview.
I am looking for any hint as to where selectVersionsInWorkspace() might still be filtered or other hints as to possible reasons/solutions for this problem that I may have overlooked.
Just when I decided to post to SO a co-worker found the reason...
As it's a big installation we use a dev-domain as admins and each website (over 100) have their own domains which are also set as base in the Site-config.
Only when the preview is opened as either the base or a baseVariant the workspace-elements are displayed at all. In older version the elements would still be displayed when opened via other associated domains, just sometimes not 100% accurately.
Letting this stay in case anyone ever has a similar problem and is hopefully able to find this.
I have followed every step given in the following repo GitHub - Adobe-Marketing-Cloud/aem-scf-sample-components-extension: Sample package for AEM Social Communities - Social
I have added the subtitle property to "com.adobe.cq.social.journal.client.endpoints.impl.JournalOperationsService" and created a page using the given template and tried to add the extended journal component and clicked on New Article and tried to enter some content and clicked on publish immediately. But after I click on Publish it's taking me to the same page and no content is being published. And I checked if the UGC is stored under /content/usergenerated/asi/jcr/content but no content is stored for the ectended Journal component.
Where as the other extended community components that are given in the above repo are are working fine. I have added the required client libraries. Can anyone help me what am I missing?
After a lot of research, I understood that when you are publishing a new blog article JS is not getting loaded.
Steps to resolve the issue:
1) Navigate to /etc/designs/acme/clientlibs/site
2) Delete the JS folder and js.txt
That's it you are good to go.
Suppose we have a page and it has header and footer links. For which we can edit the value using the header/footer dialogs of the components. Now, I want to check that who all have updated those links in any specific environment. How can I check that?
From the page properties, it just shows who made the last update (cq:lastModifiedBy property), but I need the specific versions/history of the page.
Do you want to check this in AEM or in your Code?
The sitekick provides a list with versions that have been created. See the official documentation.
If you want to load versions in AEM, please have a look at this (older) Blog post which describes how to use the VersionManger to work with Versions.
Versions are stored in /jcr:system/jcr:versionStorage within a node named by the first letters of the UUID assigned to a page (jcr:uuid)
I googled for quite some time now and i cannot find a solution for such an easy beginner-problem.
I used the Typo3 Extension Builder to build a test-extension in Extbase. Now i want to use this and include it into one of my pages in the page tree structure to actually see if it works. When browsing the folder structure i can clearly see that the Domain model, the Controllers and all the views have properly been generated. But... How can i tell my page to include it and execute it?
I tried things like including the auto generated typescript into the templates of the pages but nothing works.
Thanks!
In Extension Builder make sure that you added "Frontend plugin" on the left pane. If you'll do it properly you will be able to add this plugin via CE "General Plugin" and then via field "Select plugin"
Sounds like you struggle on a more general level here.
In order to get the output of your Extension in the Frontend you have to assure the following steps:
Set up general Configuration, so that you can see the output of standard content elements in the frontend.
Install your extension and include its TypoScript.
Make sure you have a Plugin configured in your ext_localconf.php and registered in your ext_tables.php.
In the backend, create a new content element and choose "plugin" as its type.
Choose your registered plugin and save.
You should now see output of your extension in the frontend.
I am learning TYPO3 and extensions, for now, I've created a test extension about image uploading, handling and showing.
I have done the Backend for upload a new image, show a list, and edit image properties (once selected). This part is already implemented and working.
Now I am missing the "include" part, I mean, to insert an image in page via Insert Plugin on BackEnd.
My problem: When I select insert plugin, and I manually select my registered plugin, I want to render there a fluid template with options, image list, and so.
These options are for the user to select an image, a size, and so, for it to be shown in selected page.
I don't know which method have typo3 for showing templates in that part, so I am requesting a hint from where to config a template to be used there by TYPO3.
Note: This is not about asking implementations, just a hint to start and implement it myself.
You should not code that on your own.
I guess you are looking for TCA. In special for your Plugin you are looking for "flexforms". I guess this wiki page can help you get started with some examples.
