Message /jasperserver-pro
Description The origin server did not find a current representation for the target resource or is not willing to disclose that one exists.
Apache Tomcat/8.5.20

First of all just check the whether your war file (tomcat> webapps> jasperserver-pro) is there or not.
Sometimes it does get corrupt and deleted while you are running a js-install sh script for database setup.
So while setting up jasperserver, before running js-install sh (/buildomatic/) make one directory in at /buildmomatic/install_resources with name "war" and copy your war file from tomcat> webapps> to this directory. otherwise, jasperverserver will through error (/war/jasperserver not found).

FTPD Server Issue

So I am trying to use my xampp server and for the life of me can't understand why my ProFTPD will not turn on. It only became cause for concern when I saw the word "bogon" in the application log. Can anyone translate to me what the application log means and maybe how I go about troubleshooting the problem ?

Randomly tomcat process create another copy process of it. Now see two PIDs of tomcat running

i observed strange problem suddenly on one of our QA machine.
We keep tomcat started using sysdeo eclipse plugin on windows server.
Application was in use for few days, working fine. No changes done on server.
Suddenly we observed today http://localhost:8080 stuck and not giving response.
Taskmanager found 2 tomcat process running with same no of threads around 1500.

ATG Commerce v11 CRS install Error:

I have installed Oracle ATG v11 with the commerce reference store, when I startup the production server and go to the url domain/crs/storeus I see the blank white page, and have the following error in the console:

I am assuming this error is related to endeca? I have downloaded CAS, Tools And Frameworks with experience manager and MDX, and Platform Services. Do I need to start these or have I missed a part of the endeca install?
The value of the configurationPath attribute in the DefaultFileStoreFactory.properties located at \localconfig\atg\endeca\assembler\cartridge\manager may be incorrect.
In OOTB CRS, we normally provide the following value for configurationPath attribute :
/ToolsAndFrameworks/11.1.0/server/workspace/state/repository/CRS
Could you please verify the .zip is present at path provided in DefaultFileStoreFactory.properties.
Just check if you are able to connect the below url:
host:15000/admin?op=stats
If you are able to connect this URL, then MDEX is running. Also, you can login to the experience manager and check if the dgraphs and dgidx are running.
If you are not able to connect then check all the services are(tools and http) running and accessible. You can check the endeca logs to debug further.
Your DGraph is not (yet) started.
(Hit this URL in your browser and verify: http://localhost:15000/graph?node=0&profiles=sitegroup.siteGroupUS|NoPriceRange|site.storeSiteUS&offset=0&nbins=0&irversion=640&format=xml)
Possible reasons are:
You did not run baseline update from ATG (from
ProductCatalogSimpleIndexingAdmin dyn/admin component).
You did not run promote content (from your Endeca App's control folder).
Your Services are not working properly (or not started at all). Check that Platform Services and Tools And Frameworks are started.
The solution is to properly define the value for the property configurationPath=E:/Endeca/Apps/CRS/data/workbench/application_export_archive/CRS in "DefaultFileStoreFactory.properties"
If you are using the OS as Windows then define this path as Unix style as shown above.

Can't start tomcat7 debug mode on macOS

Here is a summary:
Objective: Debug a dynamic web application
Environment: MacOS 10.6.8 / Eclipse Helios 20110218-0911 / Tomcat 7
Error: Failed to connect to remote VM. Connection refused.
Story line:
Doing some research on this matter, I found out that the possible problem to this is that I need to start tomcat7 in debug mode which usually acts on port 8000. The command I'm using is ./catalina.sh jpda start which didn't work (it starts tomcat but doesn't start debug mode). So I tried other things like adding this
variables to the system:
declare -x CATALINA_HOME="/Library/Tomcat"
declare -x JPDA_ADDRESS="8000"
declare -x JPDA_TRANSPORT="dt_socket"
and the problem keeps happening.
this is the return of the command: ./catalina.sh jpda start
Using CATALINA_BASE: /Library/Tomcat
Using CATALINA_HOME: /Library/Tomcat
Using CATALINA_TMPDIR: /Library/Tomcat/temp
Using JRE_HOME: /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/CurrentJDK/Home
Using CLASSPATH: /Library/Tomcat/bin/bootstrap.jar:/Library/Tomcat/bin/tomcat-juli.jar
can anyone help ?
thank you in advance.
