I'm studying Firebird 2.5 with FlameRobin 0.9, installed on a VM Virtualbox (with O.S. Win7 32bit PRO). The .fdb files are on the same disk of the Firebird machine and the FlameRobin program. The machine is not embedded and run as Superserver.
With FlameRobin I've created more than one.FDB file, created tables, triggers, generators, etc: all works fine.
I use Delphi7 to create executables that utilize the .fdb file.
Yesterday, during a proof, Delphi arise an error of "out of system resource": disconnect .FDB in Flamerobin, close Flamerobin (quit), close the VM; re-open the VM, re-open FlameRobin, re-register the .fdb... error:
IBPP:: SQLException; Context: Database::Connect; Message: SC_ATTACH_DATABASE
failed; SQL message: -902 unsuccessful execution caused by a system error
that precludes successful execution of subsequent statements. Unable to
complete network request to host LocalHost.
On the VM there is no antivirus and Windows firewall is disabled (on the host machine, Avast Internet Security is running).
I've haven't varied any parameters, all is developed as described.
In the .conf file, the Firebird machine can connect to all.
If I use a program compiled with Delphi, to insert or update some record in a Firebird table, all works fine, but FlameRobin doesn't want connect to Fdb.
In FlameRobin, the item "user manager" lists SYSDBA-masterkey and another user added by me 10 days ago.
On Internet, I've not found cases of the kind. Does it depend on Win7? And how? Can someone help me, to continue the work? Thanks for any suggestion that can be useful to understand the problem.

I am connected from my windows machine via ssh to an RHEL server (server a). This server is running powerbi connector (SQLD) which is connected to my MongoDB that is running on a different server (server b). I'm also running MySQL on server b. My powerBI connector is installed on server b.
Exactly where I'm at
I am using the steps listed here (and all the associated pages) and have tried everything listed short of writing a config file, as the fact that things are working on mongosqld's end makes me think I don't need it... and if I can't get it working manually, having a config file won't exactly help.

I successfully map the schema and show an active connection in the command window. I can also access my database from compass using an authorization enabled URL.
When I set up an ODBC connector I use the IP of server a, the user and password from my url, and port 3307. Nothing shows up in the dropdown, when I click 'test' I get the following message:
Connection Failed
[MongoDB][ODBC 1.4(w) Driver]Can't connect to MySQL server4 on '10.xxx.xxx.xxx' (10060)
I have also tried 3306, 27017, and 27015. Just to be safe I also added firewall rules for all traffic on these ports. I've tried this many times, including (just for the hell of it, and I'm kind of new to this stuff) the ip of server b, the ip of my machine, the credentials for MySQL, basically any combination of these things that I can think of.
In powerBI, my odbc driver shows up, and when selected in the dropdown, it asks for a username and password. I have tried both mongo credentials and MySQL. Not sure which I should be using?
regardless, I get the following error inside PowerBI:

Thoughts
I don't control either server, although I have root access, being new to this tech and company I am wary of screwing anything up that a co-worker will have to fix. I read in a different SO thread that maybe I need to downgrade the version of MySQL that is running on the server and that it could fix the problem, but I don't think that it will actually help and am afraid I might screw up something else on the server if I do this:

Maybe the problem is that server B is listening to server a on port 3307, and that there is another unknown port (not mentioned above) that my ODBC driver must be listening to? I'm not sure how to test for this when you get a step away like this.
So that's it. I'm really stuck and would love some help, I am going to try the downgrade tomorrow if nothing else shakes loose and will keep this thread updated.

I'm trying to install Oracle Database 18c locally on my windows 10 pro education but installation is stuck on Creating Oracle XE database even It wasn't allowing to cancel the installation at this point I had to do this through task manager , I have already tried the following as suggested here but no use:

Are you using Windows 10 Home Edition? It is not supported and the installer is not properly checking for it in the Prerequisite check.
Are you using Server 2019? Same issue.
On your network adapter that you are using, check (enable) "Client for Microsoft Networks" and "File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks".

In some cases, antivirus has interfered with an installation. Try installing without AV.
Try creating a local user and adding to local administrator group and then log in and install as that user.
In my case, the problem occurred because a space was used as a password.
I tried to establish a connection in pgAdmin to the PostgresSQL server.
I always get the message:
could not receive data from server: Software caused connection abort (0x00002745/10053).
I read several posts where people had the same problem but they didn't help me.
Because my version was a bit older I uninstalled the whole postgresql and installed the newest version with the installer of EnterpriseDB (PostgreSQL 9.6 on windows 64). Everything looks fine. But I can't connect to the server from pgAdmin 4 again. I get the same error message.
In the logfile is written: "An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host"
Has anybody a clue what the problem could be?
A partial solution for me was to restart the postgresql-server each time after booting up my computer with NET STOP and NET START. This was cumbersome but worked.
Because my computer still had other connection problems, subsequently I updated my system to Windows 10 which totally solved all my problems.
Trying to install MobileFirst 6.3 (Using DB2 v 10.5, Windows Server 2012 R2 std) - and during the creation of the DB2 APPCNTR database stage, I get the error:

This is a clean installation of DB2, with no other programs using it (that I know of). The db2admin user is a member of my windows security group 'DB2ADMS' as well as 'DB2USERS' just in case
If I go back in the installer, then press next again, it says the database is already created (not sure if it's fully successful or partial)....
I believe that the database has been created successfully but for some reason, it is not possible to connect to the database via JDBC.

When that happens to me the issue is often resolved by waiting a bit and retarting Installation Manager. Restarting the DB2 instance helps also. (If you don't restart Installation Manager, it believes it needs to create the database and fails because the database was created).
If the problem is not resolved by waiting a bit, you can also create the database manually prior running install Manager using that procedure (use a different database name than the one that is considered busy):

I have installed DB2 10.5 version on my local Ubuntu 12.04 Machine. Now i need a GUI. I already tried squirrel-sql & Db-Visualizer. While Db-Visualizer give me the view-only database structure, squirrel-sql give me some more options to manage. But now I need a DB2 administrator tool, which can handle all this tasks plus backup/restore, import/export etc.
I have listen a lot for IBM Data Studio as de-facto tool for DB2. So I installed it. After install completion, I am unable connect to my DB2 databases/schemas. It is surprise As I am easily can connect my Dbs through squirrel-sql & Db-Visualizer but IBM Data Studio refuse to connect. It give following errors during try.

UPDATE 1 : Search online for DB2 forums for same problem, Somebody suggested to check system proxy settings. So yes, My system have proxy settings enabled. But even after set proxy to NONE in Netwrok Settings in Ubuntu, problem still persists.
UPDATE 2 : Issue resolved after reinstallation of Data Studio. No idea what problem came, But now it working with same settings.
