Is it possible to display an RSS feed using FishPig for Magento 2? The official WordPress documentation for RSS feed (https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Feeds) doesn't seem to apply in this case; is this built-in functionality that I can take advantage of, or will I need to extend the module and build out a custom feed?
Thanks in advance!
To display RSS feeds, you will need the Shortcodes and Widgets add-on module. This will get all feeds of all types working automatically. It will also allow you to use any shortcode based WordPress plugin (page builders, form plugins, sliders etc).

I am working on Apache Nutch modification project. We already swapped Nutch's original module with ours built using HtmlUnit. I need to download whole Facebook user site (ex. http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100002517096832), which is going to be parsed using our own parser. Unfortunately Facebook is using mechanism called BigPipe (http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=389414033919). That's why most of current website is hidden in <.!-- --> tags.
Usually when we scroll down Facebook page, new content is being unpacked every time we are about to hit bottom of the page. I have tried to use Javascript that scroll my htmlPage (HtmlPage object from HtmlUnit project), but finally I realized that scrolling is not triggering loading new content on Facebook user site.
How can I check, what event on page triggers loading content on current Facebook page? Maybe I should approach problem from different side, for example try to extract BigPipe "things" on my own? Have you ever did that?
Before dealing to your question … what kind of project are you trying to build there?
Since Apache Nutch is an open source web-search software, I think you are trying to build some kind of search engine, that scrapes Facebook user profiles/feeds to get data and make it searchable on some third-party website?
Well, that would be a violoation of Facebook Platform Policies:
I. Features and Functionality
12. You must not include data obtained from us in any search engine or directory without our written permission.
So, do you have that written permission?
I have an app with blog records per each user. I have add share button to my app, to give ability to post interesting blog records to users time line or to send to other user. But in default it takes image and text for share as it wants and not always correctly. So I find out that it can be dirven by meta tags (using for example "image" property to set image for share dialog). That's work ok on main page (where I'd like to make ability share with whole application), but on pages of blog records I cann`t customize it. meta tag should be in , but all info (short text and image of blog post) I get later in body, so I can insert it. How can I manage with this? Or may be there is another way to share content with?
What blog engine are you using? If it is a wordpress - try this plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/facebook-share-new/ from offician facebook docs http://developers.facebook.com/docs/. Otherwise I'd suggest to find a facebook plugin for your blog engine using google and install it.
I am trying to build a Facebook app that generates a tab that includes a page's wall complete with "post to wall" dialog below some content. So far the only app that I know that does that is Bandpage (for example http://www.facebook.com/beyonce ).
It turns down that rendering a wall this way in an iframe is not trivial. Here are some of the approaches I've researched:
Using curl to scrape a wall: not only is this an ugly solution, but Facebook protects against that.
Using Social Plugins ( http://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/ ): Like Box (http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like-box/) renders a wall, and with "faces" and "header" options turned off + Autoresize js call it almost looks like what I want, but does not include a comment field and the look of the box can't be customized.
Using Graph API it's easy to get the wall's feed in JSON, but then rendering and styling it is a nightmare - there must be a simpler way.
Using fb:wall - this is deprecated and will be turned off in a few months, but it's not even working as a stopgap. Or does it?
Using fb:fan which supposedly takes a css stylesheet.
So - it seems possible to render the wall in a tab since Bandpage is doing it, but how?
This might possibly help you overcome your problem in #3 :

Trying to "recreate" the look and feel of any good implementation is a hard task. The following link might assist you with styling your own elements to look like facebook elements.
http://ckrack.github.com/fbootstrapp/
Fbootstrapp is a toolkit designed to kickstart development of facebook
iframe apps in both relevant sizes. It includes base CSS and HTML for
typography, forms, buttons, tables, grids, navigation, and more,
styled in the typical facebook look and feel.
Here are a few examples of the styling :

In closing I would like to bring to attention the ever nearing deprecation of FBML. We as facebook developers are solely responsible for keeping up-to-date with the changes that 3rd party API's, on which we base our development, make to their systems. There are no alternatives to FBML, only new (and in many cases) better ways to display/extract data from facebook's servers.
A great place to keep updated on changes and new features would be the Facebook Developers Blog and the Facebook Developers Roadmap.
I'm new to cmsms, i have installed a news module in it,now i have to create an rss for this news section, how can i generate an rss for my news section.
what are steps to display that generated rss in any of my page.
can any one guide me with correct path.
Thanks in advance
Install the CGFeedMaker module. It already has a predefined template for the the News module, but you'll need to edit the values for name, copyright, etc. Do that through Extensions >> Calguy's Feed Maker and pick the "news" feed.
Then, in your template, insert {CGFeedMaker action='autodiscovery' feed='news'} in between your head tags.
You should be good to go after that.
I have a Magento application running atop Zend framework. I like to generate Media RSS feed in Zend (In orded to feed the Cooliris application).
Does anyone know if Zend framework supports Media RSS feed?
(I didn't find anything in http://framework.zend.com/manual/1.10/en/zend.feed.html, but maybe I dint look in the right place?)

Check the comments on the page you referred to for Zend_Feed_Writer and the entry in the API for syntax.
