Product Catalogue side pane loads the entire data while adding the line item? - sugarcrm

We have upgraded to sugar 8.0. In that, as a new feature, we have a product catalogue dashlet in the sidebar to add line item directly to quotes on the quote create view. Now if I click on the record in the product catalogue it loads the entire recordset to the quote line item. So it loads all the fields of that record that overwrites my default value that is set in the Quoted line item.
Whereas if I add the line item via the normal way(PFA) it is working fine.
while adding the line item I am setting the product status to Draft by default but whereas if I load it via the side panel then the status of the product catalogue gets overwritten in the quoted line item.

PowerApps Get Selected Item from Lookup to make a Button Visible at the Command line bar

I want a button from the command line bar to be visible or invisible depending on whether a record has been selected in the lookup field from the main form or not.
If no record has been selected, then the button should be displayed. Otherwise not.
For this problem, I want to use the Power Fx in PowerApps, but I haven't found a command yet, which shows me the content or something like that of the lookup field. Other field data types like text have worked without problems.
With Javascript, I already managed it without problems, but I would like to do it also in PowerFx if that should work.

The records come from the Table Company, where the attribute is Companyname.
Commands where I think they might work:

I guess there are 2 scenarios:
The Lookup form control element is a Dropdown with a Selected output property. Then your approach would work like If(IsBlankOrError(DataCardValue1.Selected),true,false)
If your form control element is a ComboBox then you could use If(CountRows(DataCardValue1.SelectedItems)>0,true,false) or the above described IsBlankOrError.

Drools Business Central Workbench - Test Scenario: List subproperty on object

Is there a way to populate a List property on an object being tested under the "new style" test scenario?
I see some "legacy" test cases which seem to achieve this so am wondering if the new style test scenario handles this.
I added the List model to my test case, which enabled me to expand the sub-property on the object, however there is only one field available there, "empty" (boolean). Is there a way to add an object here? If it makes any difference, the model is an external java dependency.

The reason I wasn't able to add the List of objects was because I didn't explicitly import that object dependency into the test. Once you import it you can follow the steps given in the answer below.
It's definitely possible to manage a List property under the Test Scenario Editor.
Please consider the following example: A Book class with a List<String> property named topics.
Creating a new Test Scenario assets, please select the column where you need to add the List property, and in the right part of the editor select the property expanding the Book class, as shown below:
Pressing Insert Data Ojbect button will assign the selected List property to the selected column:
To fill the data in the List property, please double click on the Insert value cell, in the first scenario data row. A popup will appear. Its aim is to fill data inside a collection
To add a value, please press the Add list value link in the bottom part of the popup. Here, you'll be able to fill a single item on the list
Repeat this step for all the items you need to add to the list. When completed, simply press to Save button
The popup will close and you should see the previously selected data cell filled with a label similar to List(2), the number represents the number of the items in the list.

How to rearrange or remove contents under #BODY# in oracle apex

So basically I'm new to oracle apex, i have created a blank page in an mobile application in apex and then created a static region having a select list.
Noticed that the select list item is to the right of the screen, i know i can use css to move it to the required spot, but when I did a page inspection, noticed that #BODY# had other divs as well and wanted to know whether the divs or spans under #BODY# can be edited, if so from where and how?
OK then, a Select List item it is.

in there, there are some properties you might find interesting
column - set to "Automatic" by default, and yes - it positions the item "right" on the screen (I don't know why Apex authors decided to do it that way; I'd be happier if it was "left"), somewhere to the 4th of 5th column. What does that column mean? When you run the page, there's the bottom toolbar available to developers. In version 5.x, there's the option (I can't remember its name; most probably it is "Show layout columns") which enables you to show the grid - you'll see vertical "lines" (columns) and see where's each of your items positioned. On Apex 18.1 (available at apex.oracle.com), you'd click "Page info" and select "Show layout columns".
so, if you want to move it left, set the "Column" property to 1 (1st column on the screen)
modifying the "Column" property might require adjusting two additional properties: "Column span" and "Label column span".
I suggest you try to set those properties to different values and see what happens. Apex will inform you if you set something irregular.

Document based app: which is the key window?

Each Document(window?) contains an NSTableView and two buttons:
The app uses an ArrayController to manage an array of Employees in the Document class, and the buttons add or remove Employees from the array.
I notice that if I click the Add Employee button and start editing the Employee's name in the NSTableView, and then before hitting Return to end editing, if I click on File>New to create a second Document, then click on Add Employee in the second Document, then edit the Employee's name and hit Return, the Return key is sent to the first Document, which ends the editing of the Employee's name in the first Document, while nothing changes in the second Document. Why is that? I expected the window that contains the button I clicked on to be the key window, and therefore the Return key would be sent to the second window.
If I hit Return again, then editing ends in the second Document.
Looks like a bug to me. The NSTableRowData object is observing NSControlTextDidEndEditingNotification for all objects, including the views in other windows.

Infopath: Rules with Multiple Selection List Box do not trigger

Im trying to implement several rules for a form, based on a selection of some multiple selection list boxes. Im customizing a form for a existing SharePoint list by clicking on "Customize Form" in SharePoint. First of all, the choice fields on the list (multiple selection) are oddly binded in InfoPath:
I cant change the variable's name "Value" and Real Estate Categories should not be a required field. (*)
On one view I have a "Business Unit Purchase" box that is a multiple selection box (choice) and there is a next button. The next button should only be availiable when a selection is made.
So I tried to the following rules for the Next Button:
Rule Type Action:
IF Value (of Business Unit Pruchase) is not blank -> Switch to next view
This works properly, but now i wanted to disable the next button when nothing is the text box was selected, because it makes it more clear to have a selection beofre ist possible to go on. So I tried this:
Rule Type Formatting:
IF Value is blank -> disable this control
This disables the button as wanted when the multiple text box has not any items selected, but after selecting one or more, nothing happens. Is there any reason why this does not work?
Normally when a selection is made, the field "value" of "Business Unit Purchase" should contain one or more strings and therefor should not be blank anymore.
A multiselect list box almost always contains one blank element entry unless it has been manually removed (e.g. via code).
Because of this, the condition Value is blank will almost always be true.
To remedy this, use the dropdown in the Condition builder's field selection dialog to set up your condition as:
All occurrences of Value are blank -> Disable this control
If you do this, the control should be enabled when one or more items are selected.
