Word Online add in only loads sometimes - ms-word

I have made an add in for word online. When I sideload the manifest file in Word online all works fine.
When i am deploying the manifest file to the account user's from the office online portal, add in only loads some times. When it (some times) loads all works.
When the add in not loads- I can some time force it to load by refresh multiply times, run incognito mode or delete all browser data and login again
It is the same behavior when using IE, Egede or Chrome
Any idea for resolving that behavior

Can I upload a file to onedrive via Windows 10 command line?

I need to upload a file to OneDrive, via the command line. This will be done through a batch file which is distributed to end users.
From searching on Stack Overflow, I find questions like this one which say that you need to register an app and create an app password, using Azure. I don't have the necessary permissions to do this in the organization where I work, nor can I do anything that requires an admin account. So I can't any install software - I have to use what comes with Windows 10. I can't use VBA either as that's blocked.
I've managed to download files from OneDrive without anything like that, using the process described here:
Open the URL in either of the browser.
Open Developer options using Ctrl+Shift+I.
Go to Network tab.
Now click on download. Saving file isn’t required. We only need the network activity while browser requests the file from the server.
A new entry will appear which would look like “download.aspx?…”.
Right click on that and Copy → Copy as cURL.
Paste the copied content directly in the terminal and append ‘--output file.extension’ to save the content in file.extension since
terminal isn’t capable of showing binary data.
Example:
curl https://xyz.sharepoint.com/personal/someting/_layouts/15/download.aspx?UniqueId=cefb6082%2D696e%2D4f23%2D8c7a%2
…. some long text ….

cucg=1’ --compressed --output file.extension
I tried to do something similar after clicking 'upload' on the browser, but didn't find anything useful when trying to filter the requests.
I found these two questions but there is no keyboard shortcut to upload, AFAICT. Also the end user will be uploading a file to a folder I've shared with them from my OneDrive. Opening Chrome or Edge as a minimised window is fine, but I can't just shove a window in their face which automatically clicks on things - they won't like that.
It's just occurred to me that I might be able to use an office application to Save As the file to the necessary onedrive folder, where the keyboard shortcuts are pretty stable, but have no idea how to achieve that via the command line.
The best and more secure way to accomplish this goal I think is going to be with the Rest API for OneDrive.
(Small Files <4MB)
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/onedrive/developer/rest-api/api/driveitem_put_content?view=odsp-graph-online
(Large files)
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/onedrive/developer/rest-api/api/driveitem_createuploadsession?view=odsp-graph-online
You still need a Azure AD App Registration (which your admin should be able to configure for you), to provide API access to services in Azure. Coding with the API is going to be far easier and less complicated, not to mention more versatile.

Why there are no contents listed in the configuration of the Web Content Display of Liferay 7.0?

I just migrated from Liferay 6.2 to Liferay 7.0. So far Everything looks great. The site's theme still needs a couple of adjustments, but in general, everything looks great.
But now I have a problem. The content of a page was expired, this page is using a Web Content Display, so I went to Configuration in order to select another web content, but in the list of contents, there are no contents listed. In the Web Content section of the site, there are many web contents available. This is also happening in every page of the site that is using a Web Content Display.
So how can I figure out what is happening, why there are no contents listed in the configuration of the Web Content Display?
My problem was solved. Honestly, there was no problem. The full search re-index toke several hours to finish. So after the re-index process finished, all web contents were available again. The first time I run the re-index process, I expected immediate results. What I didn't know was that I have to wait until the process finished.

Downloading files from IE11 using Powershell

I'm currently trying to work on a method of downloading files from a website using PowerShell v2. So far I can navigate to the appropriate page and click the link to download, however, when I do this the download banner appears at the bottom of the page asking me whether I'd like to open or save the file.
Does anyone know how to reference this banner in PowerShell (or even if it's possible), or failing that perhaps a method of turning off the alerts and saving as default?
Here's an example of a download banner from IE11 that I mention above.
Thanks,

Adding link to local file in Confluence

I would like to add a link to a local file in confluence. Obviously this link would only work if the file is locally on the users computer. I understand that.
If I add the address like this :
file:///D:/dev/ngs-frontend/src/pages/myPage.html
The browser sends me to :
about:blank
If I try to add it with quotes like so :
"file:///D:/dev/ngs-frontend/src/pages/myPage.html"
..confluence crashes!
How is it possible in confluence?
As you mentioned when adding the web link in Confluence specifying the file using the file protocol (file:///) you might face the issue that it doesn't work.
Obviously this link would only work if the file is locally on the users computer.
This is not entirely true. If you open the developer tools you most likely will be getting the error "Not allowed to load local resource"
As measure of security the browser won't let you access files from a different origin, specially from the users computer (this would be a serious security risk). Only imagine if you could access the files in the Windows directory from the browser, you could break apart the operating system in no time (or steal user data).
This is explained in here
If you put the file in the same server Confluence is running, then this should work just fine. However I believe you can save time just adding the page as an attachment and loading it (Confluence is pretty decent at version controlling in case you want to modify the html file).
Hope this helps!

iPhone application cache and XMLHttpRequest

I have a WebApp that I've been try to make work offline. The WebApp is too big, even minified, to simply use the application cache (things download but I eventually get a window.applicationCache error). I'm trying to use XMLHttpRequest to get the larger scripts and main html and keep them in localStorage and just keep a small loader script in the application cache. The problem I'm seeing is that the XMLHttpRequest returns a network error when the loader script is being served locally. When the the cache is downloading no error is returned and it works fine. When I turn off the application cache the loader works fine, but of course then I need the network to get the loader.
I tried setRequestHeader("Cache-Control", "no-cache") but that didn't help.
Anybody have a clue?
What does your network: section in your manifest look like?
I found that if I weren't allowing wildcard network traffic it wouldn't load with XMLHttpRequest. So changing it to:
Network:
*
did the trick for us.
I think I found a solution. It would probably work for others.
I split the loader into two separate HTML files: one that uses XMLHttpRequest to get all the required files and put them in localStorage (the loader) and another that simply reads the files from localStorage and writes them into the document (the booter) with appropriate wrappers (e.g. ). The booter has a manifest file to keep it in the application cache. The loader does not. The user first invokes the booter. If the booter finds files already in localStorage it does it's thing. Otherwise, it uses location.replace() to invoke the loader. The loader loads the files from the server using XMLHttpRequest and puts them in localStorage, and then re-invokes the booter using location.replace(). This seems to not cause an network error.
In order to run offline, the user must invoke the booter in the iPhone Safari browser (which invokes the loader, which re-ivokes the booter) which boots the WebApp. In Safari, the user must then add the WebApp (the booter link) to their Home Screen (using the "+" button at the bottom). When offline the user can get to the app from the Home Screen icon. It takes a few seconds to re-render, but it's fully functional after that. It's the same delay when online. Invoking the link from the iPhone Safari browser will not work offline, though it will work online.
The booter monitors the application cache's "updateready" event so that when online and the when iPhone detects a change in the booter's manifest file and downloads a new booter, it will swap the new cache (window.applicationCache.swapCache()) and invoke the loader using location.replace() again. I also add an alert() to let the user know something funky is going on. So changing the manifest file (I mean making some bytes different, not just tweaking the modify time) will cause clients to get new files when online.
Interestingly, I noticed that localStorage set up in Safari is not available to the same page served from invoking the Home Screen icon, even though the cookies transfer! So the first time the booter is invoked from the icon it will reload the files even though they were previously loaded in Safari. Also, I had to explicitly prevent the loader from being cached as it was not reloading from the server when the rest of the files were updated.
You are correct. Ultimately it was the network section in the manifest.
I thought the site where the application was loaded from was included automatically and you didn't need to mess with it, but it's not true. You need to put the site in the network section.
