Currently, Chrome show automatically the Add to Homescreen prompt event a PWA meets the criteria.
My particule case : I wish that Chrome show the add to Homescreen only when we will need to trigger the .prompt().
Is posible this from manifest.json?
Which ways I could implement for this case?
Thanks

I'm new in flutter, i'm using sms_autofill package to listen otp from my phone.
My question is how to directly navigate to the next screen when otp already filled without making a button ?
Here's my otp screen
Really appreciate for your help, Thanks before...
From the docs i see 2 callbacks you can use. Navigate inside one of the callbacks (prefer onCodeSubmitted)
onCodeSubmitted: //code submitted callback
onCodeChanged: // check if the length is your code length and do the validation
You can use onCodeSubmitted and onCodeChanged Like the example
_navigate(code) {
/* if the code is succ.
Navigate here
*/
}
I am creating very basic ionic app. I want to show splash, then admob interstitial and on close of interstitial, i want to redirect to home page.
The only problem which I am facing here is updating the view in the home page. In home page, i have very simple text box and button. I am using 2 way data binding here and its not working at all.
I have created repo for this if somebody wants to have a look and let me know why the view is not updating.

if the value is changing in component but not in view(html) then after action in component use this.
import { ChangeDetectorRef } from '#angular/core';
constructor(private changeRef: ChangeDetectorRef){}
this.changeRef.detectChanges();
i hope it can help.
Possible solutions you can try
you should check the logs for errors
Assign clear type to "input" variable. ( try making it explicitly
public )
"input" may be considered as a keyword, try using a different
variable name ( less likely )
I am creating an App with Ionic2 and the requirement is -
- the app when first loaded will show a Log In page and when logged in
- will have a Side-Menu enabled pages
The starter project shows that the Side Menu as the root of the app and loads first before any other page is open - then it loads the other related pages.
How can I build an app that Loads Log In page first and then set the Side Menu as the main navigation and never shows up the Log In screen??
I did this with ionic 1 but not being able to figure out with ionic2
Please help.
One solution would be to disable menu on Login screen and then to enable it after login.
You can disable menu by injecting MenuController and then use:
import {NavController, MenuController} from 'ionic-angular';
ionViewDidEnter() {
//to disable menu, or
this.menu.enable(false);
}
ionViewWillLeave() {
// to enable menu.
this.menu.enable(true);
}
#Digital IQ, you have to set your login page as the rootPage in your existing app.ts file and use MenuController in login page to make menu enable onPageDidLeave.
The example for this is available in ionic conference app where they have tutorial page before getting in to the actual application. Refer this for menu control and this (line 50) to set the initial page.
The above problem must have occurred because the user had surely logged in, but the changes i.e. setting it as the current user didn't take place in side menu page.
For that you can use Events API
Events is a publish-subscribe style event system for sending and responding to application-level events across your app.
For reference, go through the following answer-
Ionic 3 refresh side menu after login

I tried something more easy and I found it working.
I set the LogIn page as the root when the app first loaded - and I removed 'menuToggle' button from this template.
Then I imported the Component I want to redirect on Log in
I created a singIn function in LogInPage class as follows:
signIn (){
let navRef = this.app.getComponent('nav');
navRef.setRoot(HelloIonicPage);
}
and it worked like a charm
I want to develop a program like button savior (which runs on top of a another app and we can press menu, back buttons on top of a running app). So user do not need to press hardware buttons to access menu, back functionalities.
I want to do the same but to do it I have to run a app on top of another app.
How can I do this?

Take a look at Robotium: http://code.google.com/p/robotium/
It seems to be doing what you want to do. You can take a look at the code and figure out how to do it.
Well i think that what you are looking for is creating something like Input Method (IME), there is a good tutorial to start with on Android Docs, another thing you can do is to create an activity which contains your virtual controller, distribute that as a lib and then if someone need it they can downloads and register your component into their project, something like what AdMobs does.
Suppose my app will load a local web page which is stored in my app bundle. I want to push the view or present a view when the user click a link or an image inside that web page. How to do this? Let's make this be general question: how to communicate with my app from a local web page?
Thank you.
Use "webview.request.URL.absoluteString" to get the request-string of the clicked link in the delegate-method "webViewDidFinishLoad:" or "webViewDidStartLoad:".
then you can scan this url for some special substring.
For example you could make a link like ".../index.php?iPhone_action=abcdef".
In the delegate-methods you can check if the link has the substring "?iPhone_action=" and if it does, then put the part of the link, whick follows "?iPhone_action=" in a NSString.
(in our example it would be "abcdef").
Depending on the value of this NSString you could fire a action in your app.
There is an undocumented method to catch the event when you click on a link in UIWebView. You can do whatever you want to do in that method.Search on google/stackoverflow for it. Or see my answer in this stackoverflow post.
Show alert view when click on a link
