How to browse files on a webserver? - webserver

I have a web server with IP address and port.
I would like to browse all files on this web server. How can view and upload new files there?
For example, I have already tried via a web browser:
192.168.101.190:2870
But there is an error: 404 Not Found
192.168.101.190:2870/name1.xml/r/n
403 Forbidden
I have access to the files for example: *.xml
192.168.101.190:2870/name1.xml
192.168.101.190:2870/name2.xml
Server: NFLC/3.0 UPnP/1.0 DLNADOC/1.50

The feature you're looking for is Directory Listing/Directory Browsing. If your web server is:
Apache refer to: https://wiki.apache.org/httpd/DirectoryListings#Directory_Listings
IIS refer to: https://blogs.iis.net/bills/how-to-enable-directory-browsing-with-iis7-web-config
Nginx refer to: https://nginxlibrary.com/enable-directory-listing/

Troubleshooting QuickBooks Web Connector issue

Try to troubleshooting QuickBook's Web Connector by following helping URL: Click Me. When I try to Add an application into Web connector getting following error: "QBWC1048: QuickBooks Web Connector could not verify the web application server certificate. QBWC1051: The new application was not added"
QuickBook throws the 1048 error because it is unable to complete a GET request at the AppURL that specified QBFS.qwc file. This is because test.developer.intuit.com restricts GET requests via the SOAP API.
To get around this, include a parameter in the .qwc file, and set it to the same value as your AppURL without the URL path.
For example, if your AppURL is https://mycompany.cs1.force.com/services/Soap/class/myApiClass, then set CertURL to https://mycompany.cs1.force.com.
This is the solution suggested by the QBWC log file, and it worked for me.
Reference URL
I found I had this problem because my software was trying to load the file
http://developer.intuit.com/uploadedFiles/Support/QBWebConnectorSvc.wsdl
which no longer exists. :(
So I got a WSDL from
https://test.developer.intuit.com/QBWC/TroubleshootWebServiceFS/Service.asmx?wsdl
and put it in my Site's root directory, then changed my code to point there, and it worked.

Google PHP AppEngine - Deployment Issue with PHP file not being uploaded

I have a very simple PHP app that allows a User to enter names of Cities or Zip-codes into a search box, and the User gets auto-complete suggestions based on data stored in my Google CloudSQL server.
index.html - Renders a simple search box where users can enter search keys and they get auto-complete suggestions. Accomplished via Twitter's typeahead.js library (jQuery plugin).
city.php - PHP file that acts as a translation layer. Receives request from the browser and initiates connection to my Google CloudSQL server where I have a simple database with some city and zipcode data. Returns the data back to the browser as an array.
This works on my local Mac OS X Apache server. I am trying to get this setup to work on Google PHP AppEngine. I created an app.yaml file that looks like this:
runtime: php55
api_version: 2
threadsafe: true
handlers:
- url: /
static_files: index.html
upload: index.html
- url: /(.*)
static_files: www/\1
upload: (.*)
- url: /(.+\.php)$
script: \1
This is where I run into an issue. When I run gcloud app deploy from my local folder (which houses index.html, city.php, and app.yaml), I get the following message in the logs.
Some files were skipped. Pass `--verbosity=info` to see which ones.
You may also view the gcloud log file, found at
[/Users/arjunshah/.config/gcloud/logs/2016.11.13/12.31.04.137587.log].
When I run gcloud app deploy with log verbosity, I see the following:
INFO: Could not find any remote repositories associated with [/Users/arjunshah/Documents/autocomplete]. Cloud diagnostic tools may not be able to display the correct source code for this deployment.
File upload done.

Updating service [default]...

The index.html page loads fine, but when I try to enter names of cities (that I know are in the database), I see the following error in the Google Browser Inspect Element console.
Failed to load resource: https://ashah-146101.appspot.com/city.php?query=P the server responded with a status of 404 ()

Disable /rest URL in ColdFusion10

Our problem with ColdFusion 10 is that there is the /rest/ URL binded. In our application we have a rest service ourselves. Since ColdFusion 10 it will not work because the URL is already defined and our requests won't get through. Is there any way to disable /rest/ completely? Or do we have to rename our service?
I also tried to edit the axis2.xml file
<parameter name="disableREST" locked="true">true</parameter>
<parameter name="restPath">restdisabled</parameter>
But that won't effect anything on the server.
Thanks in advance!
Disclaimer: I have not tried this and do not have a ColdFusion 10 installation nearby to verify
There is a servlet mapping defined in the web.xml file that defines how to handle /rest/ requests for ColdFusion. So you should be able to rename that URI to something else for your implementation. The web.xml file is located under the wwwroot\WEB-INF directory on your ColdFusion server.
I found some reference to this here - Getting started with RESTful web services in ColdFusion (under the Accessing a REST Service through HTTP section)
That documentation also mentioned updating the uriworkermap.properties file. Here is an excerpt from that page:
rest in the URL specifies that the request is for a REST service. ColdFusion has a servlet mapping for the same and would direct the request to the servlet that handles REST service. If there is a directory in the server webroot with the same name, you must update the servlet mapping in web.xml file inside wwwroot\WEB-INF directory. Also, you must update the same mapping in the uriworkermap.properties file located under the config\wsconfig\1 of the server directory.
You will need to restart the ColdFusion service after making any changes to these files.
While this will not disable the functionality in ColdFusion it will allow your services to respond under the /rest/ URI because ColdFusion will be listening under a different one that you define.

"RA layer request failed" error with Subclipse, no errors with web browser

I'm using STS 2.8.1 (I think it's based on Eclipse Indigo) with Subclipse 1.6.18.
I'm trying to check some code out from a repository, but when I add the repository location, I get the following error:
RA layer request failed
svn: Server sent unexpected return value (503 Service Unavailable) in response to OPTIONS request for 'http://a.b.com:18080/svn/myproject'
The thing is, if I try to access that repository from a web browser (e.g. Chrome or IE), I'm allowed to access it. It asks for my username and password, and after I enter them, I can see the project tree.
Does anyone know why I can access from the web browser but not from STS?
The proxy settings are configured correctly for Subclipse (and I can access other repositories from STS, but not that one).
This is usually due to an SVN setting (c:\Documents and Settings\_username_\Application Data\Subversion\servers or ~/.subversion/servers) overriding an Eclipse setting.
Or one of those settings could have the wrong password for the proxy.
However, the OP Neets reports:
I'm able to connect to other repository locations (so the proxy password is correct)
I solved it, adding the corresponding exception in the servers file, like this:
http-proxy-exceptions = exception.com
That is compliant with what describes the openDNS article Configuring Subversion to Use a Proxy Server:
http-proxy-exceptions
This specifies a set of repository addresses for which you don't need to access a proxy server. For example, if you have a repository on your local LAN, then you probably won't need a proxy to access it.
This should be a comma-delimited list of servers, and you can use an asterisk as a wildcard.
If all of the repositories that you will access require you to use a proxy server, then you can leave this out.
The following shows a sample configuration that will use a proxy server to access all servers outside of the example.com domain:
[global]
http-proxy-exceptions = *.example.com
http-proxy-host = proxy.example.com
http-proxy-port = 8080
http-proxy-username = myuserid
http-proxy-password = mypassword

"URL not found" error at my localhost setup of TYPO3 website.

I have setup TYPO3 successfully on my local server. But I am having problem when clicking on any menu item: It's showing "url not found on server".
When I type in the URL manually into the browser it shows the page. It's only having problems when redirecting after clicking on a page item at any frontend website page.
That might be related to the domain config or RealURL... or both ;)
Do you use RealURL? Or do you use the standard url config?
If links to sub pages look like index.php?id=12345 you are using the standard config.
My guess is that the local DNS ("hosts file") is not configured correctly.
With the hosts file you can simulate how the web site will appear when it's online, hooked up to a "real/global" DNS. (Not quite, but in a nutshell)
So if you set up Typo3 to be reached under http://www.example.com/ you need to tell your local DNS ("hosts file") to route a request to http://www.example.com/ to your local host e.g. http://127.0.0.1/ . In that case your host file needs an entry like so:
127.0.0.1 http://www.example.com/
What Domain do you enter to reach your web site? Where do the links from the menu link to?
If you wanna know mor about the "hosts file" look here:
http://accs-net.com/hosts/how_to_use_hosts.html
If you can log in into the TYPO3 backend (/typo3/) and can access the frondend through /index.php, but not through the generated menu links, then RewriteRules for mod_rewrite don't apply.
Usually TYPO3's installer should detect this configuration and disable RealURL, which is responsible for generating such nice looking URLs (instead of index.php?id=123). It seems like this failed (or you copied everything afterwards without the .htaccess file?).
Make sure that you have TYPO3's .htaccess file in place in the root directory of your installation. If this is the case, make sure that mod_rewrite is enabled in your Apache config.
