I would like to display the statistics of Soundcloud more clearly. An import to Google Data Studio would be very helpful. Is this possible?
Assuming SoundCloud has an API, this can be done through creating a community-connector. There are no plans to add a first-party connector to SoundCloud.
Thanks for your quick answer. I would like to create a community-connector with the Soundcloud API. The Problem is that I cant' create a SoundCloud Application Registration because of the following notice:
SoundCloud Application Registration
Due to the high amount of requests recently received, we will no longer be processing API application requests at this time. We are working to re-evaluate our process to make it more efficient.
Do you know when the registration is available?

Hi, I have a question concerning the implementation of Facebook Conversions API via Google Tag Manager Server-Side.
We are using DNN /EVOQ CMS which is a .net application.
Everything else is in place concerning Facebook Pixel and Business manager.
I also tested it on the Graph API and it worked fine.
It’s just the last step that is missing.
I know one way to implement the Facebook Conversions API is with Node.js Business SDK.
https://developers.facebook.com/docs/marketing-api/conversions-api/using-the-api
My Question:
If you use Google Tag Manager Server-Side, do you still need to add the Node.js Business SDK ?
Thanks in advance
The Node sdk is to send FB conversions directly to FB.
In your case, you send all the FB conversion info with the hit to your GTM endpoint and then you make a custom http request tag and retranslate all the info you've got from your backend into a proper FB conversion request.
That's pretty much it.
I am working on a feature which includes Facebook events, but I just read that Facebook API endpoint for getting events are deprecated. But still, I've got one question. How is possible that Evensi.com is still functional?
Also if I missed something, do you know any proper way how to import Facebook events based on location?
Regards,
Michal
I just created a python script, you can see here.
It queries the given facebook page and it's events and puts the data into a MySQL table.
Also, there are some js libraries on Github, so I think it's not impossible.
I've got client who has several different websites, each website having Google analytics account.
Our marketing department is also running Google Adwords/Facebook/Instagram ads for each of those websites.
I want data/leads from Google and Facebook on my local server. I also want real-time data that should automatically update from Google & Facebook with fixed time interval.
I've been Googling and experimenting with the Analytics API docs, but no luck.
Any one please help me to find better solution.
#This question is not for this website but I didn't find any other option.
Thank you.
There are several services that your are looking for. Use this info like a getting started. Every service has his own simplicities and complexities.
Adwords
Use Campaign Performance Report to download your campaign's metrics. See examples in PHP, Java, Python, etc.
Analytics
Use RealTime API to get real time data. See examples
Use Core Reporting API to get general data. See examples
There is a very useful tool: Query Explorer to see Analytics API working
Facebook / Instagram
Use Ads Insights API to download your campaigns's metrics. See examples
My application isn't going to be revolved around soundcloud users, I will be using it for its nice api that is provided to stream audio. I also want to use the javascript upload feature but that seems to be out of the question too.
The record widget should be able to upload the audio to your server so that you can upload the audio not as an individual user.
I still haven't been able to get my app to work without using their authentication window.
Any help would be appreciated.
Nearly everything you do with the SoundCloud API must be done on behalf of a SoundCloud account. You can only use the SoundCloud API to stream content from or upload content to a SoundCloud account.
If you'd like to have SoundCloud functionality in your app, I'd recommend allowing users to connect their SoundCloud accounts.
"Authenticating without the SoundCloud Connect Screen", from the API docs: http://developers.soundcloud.com/docs/api/guide#user-credentials
With this method you can log in as a user in the code. Since every app must be registered to a user anyway, you can make a new username to register the app, and log in with that one.
I am a student majoring in CS and very newbie to Facebook app development. I couldn't find any good resources online so, I was wondering how can I send an app request or a message using python tornado framework to targeted user? So far, I have my app access token but I couldn't get app request to work... I need some kind of reference to follow but I am not having good time finding one that is "SIMPLE" enough... Thanks!
Regardless of the backend framework, doing app invites is all client-side, so as long as you can stream out HTML from your server with the correct Javascript, then you'll be well on your way.
See: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/dialogs/requests/ For information and examples can be found and played with in Javascript tool at: http://developers.facebook.com/tools/console/ click Examples, then click apprequests
