Eclipse Oxygen with JBoss tools startup takes a while - eclipse

Does anybody have a fix or workaround for this problem? My Eclipse oxygen with JBoss tools takes too long to load/startup. I have tried upgrading JBoss tools and then increased -Xmx in eclipse.ini but it still is slow to load. Looking at /workspace/.metadata/.log I found this:

It's trying to connect to redhat.ctrlflow.com. I tried browsing to this URL but it is unreachable. Removing JBoss tools is not an option. Hoping someone can shed some light on this matter. Thank you in advance.

AERI service has been shutdown so you may disable the error reporting but I'm not sure this is the source of slow startup

To fix, go to Windows > Preferences > General > Startup and Shutdown. Uncheck Eclipse Automated Error Reporting and any plugin that starts with JBoss Tools. Apply and Close. Restart and then the MESSAGE Server ‘org.jboss.tools’ failed with exception... and MESSAGE Server ‘org.eclipse.epp.logging.aeri.ide.server’ failed with exception... will no longer appear in /workspace/.metadata/.log.

Mirth Service Not Starting after installing a plugin

I have an instance of Mirth that will not start every time I install a plugin. Once I install a plugin, the only way that I can get the Mirth Connect service to start again is to manually remove the plugin from the folder. There is nothing that is going into the logs, so I don't really have much to go on as to why this is happening. I have another instance of Mirth that is on identical hardware, version etc. and it takes plugins just fine. Any ideas of what I can try?
Edit Based on Comment Suggestions from Freiheit:
Mirth Connect version is 3.8.1
The plugin is the Cluster Administrator
I believe that Freiheit is correct that this is an issue with my licensing. When I enter my license key and click on the "save" button, I get the following error:

So #Freiheit was correct in the comment that this had to do with the licensing mechanism. I was licensed to run on 4 machines, but I had attempted to license one of the machines several times "unsuccessfully".....however, on the nextgen side, the licensing had been successful.
What I ultimately ended up with was this:
License 1: Server A
License 2: Server B
License 3: Server B
License 4: Server B
So even though I had only activated 2 of my 4 licensed machines, I was showing as having used all 4 of my licenses up. Whats worse, is that having duplicate servers listed was the cause of the http 500 error. The fix ended up being that nextgen had to remove all of my licenses, and I had to go back and redo it one server at a time.

Issue with Eclipse content assist is taking too long because of package time out

I am getting long delays with eclipse code content assist because a package that is included no longer exists. I have tried numerous things to no avail. Can anyone help with this issue or recommend how to delete the reference to the bad package.

Bluemix remote debugging session not starting

I have followed the Bluemix/Eclipse instructions to setup the Liberty servers in eclipse. Able to do everything with the Bluemix/eclipse tools except for remote debugging.
Receiving the following exceptions/errors when I select the "Enable Debug Mode" on my application under the servers.
Tried a longer Debug timeout but that has not helped. Any pointers?
TIA

You need to ensure that you've done the following:
Enabled & configured the debug App Management utility as indicated here (1).
Ensure that dev mode for Eclipse Tools is enabled as indicated here (2).
Enable Remote Debug in Eclipse Tools as indicate here (3).
(1) https://www.ng.bluemix.net/docs/manageapps/app_management.html#Utilities
(2) https://www.ng.bluemix.net/docs/manageapps/app_management.html#devmode
(3) https://www.ng.bluemix.net/docs/manageapps/eclipsetools/eclipsetools.html#remotedebug
Do you happens to be using IBM JDK to launch the workbench? There is an existing problem that we are tracking on the debug support using that combination. If you happens to be using that, can you try using an Orcale JDK 8 to see if that resolves the problem?
The issue was with the JDK in use .... replaced the ORACLE JDK 7 with ORACLE JRE 8 and that resolved the issue.

With some proxy servers there appears to be a problem with the HttpClient libraries used by Eclipse 4.4. The workaround is to use the JRE http client by putting this line in eclipse.ini:
-Dorg.eclipse.ecf.provider.filetransfer.excludeContributors=org.eclipse.ecf.provider.filetransfer.httpclient4
Eclipse bug discussion
Disabling Apache HttpClient
I tried every thing it did't work out for me..Finaly i found out that ,you have to allow eclipse from windows firewall(Windows 7).
->go to control panel>system and security>windows Firewall>Allow program or feature through windows firewall
->Then browse eclipse.exe
->Restart eclipse
1. GO TO
Window-> Preferences -> General -> Network Connection.
2. Change the Settings
Active Provider-> Manual-> and check---> HTTP, HTTPS and SOCS
Restart Eclipse and ENJOY!
On linux64, I had similar issues with luna, whereas Kepler connects fine.
I saw somewhere that you should clear SOCKS entry in Network connections and be in manual Active Provider.
Then restart Eclipse to apply changes.
It worked for me.
just add this line in your eclipse.ini
Dorg.eclipse.ecf.provider.filetransfer.excludeContributors=org.eclipse.ecf.provider.filetransfer.httpclient4
and restart eclipse!
if it persist , check the parameters of network connections in Tools > preferences > general > Network connections
I found a solution. I changed my Eclipse version. I use Eclipse Indigo now because all 4.x version not work on my computer. For reminder i use a Windows XP 32bits...a prehistorics machine.

SoapUI: ConnectException: Connection timed out:

i try to send request via REST.
I get success response when using firefox rest-client,

Default socket timeout is set to 60000 milliseconds.
You can change it:
File -> Preferences -> HTTP Settings -> Socket Timeout
You can also set the value to 0 and then it doesn't time out.
Tested it with SoapUI 4.5.0
You can also set timeout for your request, it's on left bottom Request properties, that helped me (SoapUI 5.4.0)
I would try adjusting the socket timeout in SoapUI preferences. SoapUI has a standard timeout of 60000 milliseconds. I would try making that much larger to see if you have the same issue. This has fixed a timeout issue for myself before.
You can also edit this setting directly in the soapui-settings.xml
<con:setting id="HttpSettings#socket_timeout">120000</con:setting>
If this doesn't help, try asking on the eviware forum.
Apart from adjusting timeouts, if this issue still persists then it could be because few of the plugins needed by SoapUI are not loaded. Because these plugins are present in some other place that require permission to access.
If u check your logs u can find this trace :
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.eviware.soapui.plugins.auto.factories.AutoImportMethodFactory
at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(Unknown Source)
at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(Unknown Source)
at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method)
at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source)
The problem does not occur when starting the SoapUI directly from bin
Also you can run with Administrative privileges.
