I used to follow this article: https://medium.com/deepquestai/train-object-detection-ai-with-6-lines-of-code-6d087063f6ff, but I can't proceed because I can't install YoloV3. The line which I followed here is pip install https://github.com/OlafenwaMoses/ImageAI/releases/download/essential-v4/pretrained-yolov3.h5 but it appears error on anaconda.
The output is Cannot unpack file c:\users\appdata\local\temp\pip-unpack-vo7bb6\pretrained-yolov3.h5 (downloaded from c:\users\appdata\local\temp\pip-req-build-pfzpqr, content-type: application/octet-stream); cannot detect archive format
Cannot determine archive format of c:\users\appdata\local\temp\pip-req-build-pfzpqr
Follow the instructions in the article exactly. The YOLO model is not a PIP package but a file to download and put in the same folder as your other code. It's not using pip but wget

but when i try to use it in pycharm got:

looks like you may need to repoint your pycharm to your installed python interpreter.
go to command line and find out python interpreter path. On windows you can where python in your command line an it will give you where your python and packages are installed.. You could also activate python directly in command line and find paths from there. For example, open command line then;
python
press enter = activates python
within then you can do:
import sys
for x in sys.path: x
In pycharm make sure you point to path discovered from step 1 and select that to be your python interpreter within pycharm --- check out examples here https://www.jetbrains.com/help/pycharm/configuring-python-interpreter.html#add-existing-interpreter
Should work. Not sure about all the steps you took, but if you installed python with pycharm on top of your regular installation of python i would recommend :
finding all the paths from step 1
deleting python using system
checking if folders found from paths step still exist
if they do, delete those as well
start over just with one python installation
repoint to that in pycharm
first
pip uninstall PIL
after uninstall
python3 -m pip install --upgrade pip
python3 -m pip install --upgrade Pillow
or
brew install Pillow
anybody can help me figure out why the installation is hanging on 'Generating installed device list' and how to solve it without starting the process all over. I am working on CentOs.

I think this happens due to following missing packages:
libstdc++6:i386
libgtk2.0-0:i386
dpkg-dev:i386
ncurses5-compat-libs
python3-pip
libtinfo5
libncurses5
As BKN mentioned, you need to install the missing packages.
To avoid starting all over again, you can do the following:
Check the log: cat ~/.Xilinx/xinstall/*.log
Locate the error message. It should look something like:

The log informs you exactly what the missing package is (in this case it was libtinfo), and also provides you with the script to run after you install the package:
/tools/Xilinx/Vivado/2021.2/bin/vivado -nolog -nojournal -mode batch -source /tools/Xilinx/Vivado/2021.2/scripts/sysgen/tcl/xlpartinfo.tcl -tclargs /tools/Xilinx/Vivado/2021.2/data/parts/installed_devices.txt
Notes:
Make sure to use the Vivado version (here it was 2021.2) and location (here it was /tools/Xilinx) according to your system.
You may need to run the script in sudo if the the permissions for writing are not available in user mode.
I also encounterd this problem on Archlinux with Vivado 2018.3.
But I just installed the library ncurses5-compat-libs, then the problem is solved.
Perhaps you can solve this by checking the library ncurses5-compat-libs.
Download the tar package instead of the self-extracting bin package
Update the java and python version
sudo apt-get install -y python3-pip
Install Dependencies
sudo apt-get install -y libstdc++6
sudo apt-get install -y libgtk2.0-0
sudo apt-get install -y dpkg-dev
NOTE: Without ibtinfo5 the application will not start and without libncurses5 the simulation will fail
`sudo apt-get install -y libtinfo5 libncurses5`
Restart the system
Untar that Vivado package
tar -xzvf Xilinx_Unified_2021.2_1021_0703.tar.gz
Locate the xsetup file in the package
Install the package in batch mode
./xsetup --agree 3rdPartyEULA,XilinxEULA --batch Install --product "Vivado" --edition "Vivado ML Enterprise" --location "/home/USER"
Once the installation has been successfully completed
Locate the settings64.sh file
./settings64.sh
Locate the cable drivers
cd Vivado/2021.2/data/xicom/cable_drivers/lin64/install_scripts/install_drivers
./install_drivers
Installing Vivado Board Files
Get the board package from the git https://github.com/Digilent/vivado-boards.git
From the vivado-board-master package copy the folder board_files undert /vivado-board-master/new/board_files
Paste the board files to Vivado/2021.2/data/boards
From the vivado-board-master package copy the file Vivado_init.tcl under /vivado-board-master/utility
Paste the file Vivado_init.tcl to the Vivado installation
That's it!! You might not need to do all these steps but that is what I ended up doing and it worked for the two machines where I installed Vivado. The installation took less than one hour.

I first installed Open Babel through brew. When I tried to run the command: "obabel -:"CC(=O)Cl" -opng -O mymol.png", I got this error message: " Open Babel Error in PNG Format
PNG2Format not found. Probably the Cairo library is not loaded." I then proceeded to use brew to uninstall Open Babel. Then, I installed Cairo with brew and then installed Open Babel with brew again. Still though, I try to create a PNG output and it gives me the same error message. I just do not know what's going on??
I’ve found that when using brew to install open-babel, I do not need to install Cairo in a separate step. The open-babel formula includes a '--with-cairo’ option that installs all the required dependencies, including Cairo.
Here is how I installed open-babel with Cairo support:
$ brew install --with-cairo open-babel
How do I install PIL?

pip install PIL --allow-external PIL --allow-unverified PIL
This is due to changes in the new version of Pip. Run pip --version and I'm willing to bet you are running 1.5. See the changelog here. This new default behavior enhances security. In PIL's case, the file you are installing actually comes from effbot.org (thus --allow-external) and PyPi doesn't have a checksum to guarantee validity (thus --allow-unverified).
Also, you might consider using the Pillow replacement to PIL.
Updated info for those reading in 2016:
--allow-external
and
--allow-unverified
were recently deprecated. Installing packages external to PyPi using pip is no longer supported: http://www.python.org/dev/peps/pep-0470/
As an alternative, when you really need to install that external package, you can download the source code and run its setup.py. For example, for PIL 1.1.7, download from http://www.pythonware.com/products/pil/, then:
$ tar xvfz Imaging-1.1.7.tar.gz
$ cd Imaging-1.1.7
$ python setup.py install

If you only want to install the package to a specific virtualenv, you can just activate your virtualenv first. ** thanks #Caumons
Alternatively, substitute the path to your virtualenv for 'python' in the third line, e.g.:
$ /home/username/virtualenv-name/bin/python setup.py install
I'd like to install pyaudio on osx lion but i'm unable to do it. Everytime i try with the pkg, it doesn't install anything. When i try to install it with pip i have the following error (among a lot of other lines) :
lipo: can't open input file: /var/folders/11/gfpzwjdd6dj7hbz7dpbvx9y40000gn/T//ccYnQM1k.out (No such file or directory)
error: command '/usr/bin/llvm-gcc' failed with exit status 1

I had to manually install it to get anything working. You'll need the source distributions for both pyaudio and portaudio.
Firstly I installed portaudio with MacPorts (not from the source distribution):
sudo port install portaudio
pyaudio then refused to install as it couldn't find the pa_mac_core.h and portaudio.h headers. After copying these from the portaudio source distribution include folder into pyaudio's src folder, I had to uncomment line 49 of pa_mac_core.h:
#include <AudioToolbox/AudioToolbox.h>
Doing this allowed me to get pyaudio to install using a simple
sudo python setup.py install
(I probably didn't need superuser for the portaudio install, but pyaudio wouldn't install unless I did it as a superuser)
