i want to change the initially visible fields of smartTable to other fields which are not initially visible or (make other invisible fields visible in table column) using javascript so that we don't need to set it using ui.
i have tried calling setInitiallyVisibleFields but it gives error saying ,it can't be changed once table is initialized
Just use setVisible method from sap.ui.core.Control class.
Give your SmartTable an ID
Capture it inside your controller using this.byId
call setVisible(true/false)

I'm currently using the latest version of Jhipster 7.6.0 and Node 16.14.0. If we try to arrange form fields in column view in other words if we wrap ValidatedField to and , the field values are not populated during Edit mode of the page and the same is true for insert mode. The attached link is showing a simple layout change on the existing user management page, and we are trying to see Last Name and First Name in one row, and we are unable to see the value or update the value if we realign these fields in multiple columns views.
Does anyone know a simple workaround we can use ValidatedForm and ValidatedField in Row, Col, and regular CRUD works like with other pages generated by the framework? Please let me know if more clarification or detail is needed on this case.

Got a bug in tree table on scroll selected check box position changed
Before scroll
After Scroll Down
In Tree table, once the HTML is render it will not changed. If you have observe, after table scroll also the generated HTML ID's by UI5 will be same.
So you need to use two way data binding model with a property bind to the checkbox, which will tell the checkbox status ie checked/unchecked.
Means backend data should have a property which is bind to the checkbox selected property, so that when ever you select the checkbox the corresponding property will be changed (true/false) and on scrolling also the it will maintain the selected property.
I have created a content app in which I am able to show and hide different fields using radio buttons but how to Show/Hide different fields Based on the dropdown value in Magnolia content app?
For radio button and fields i used below class info.magnolia.ui.form.field.definition.SwitchableFieldDefinition
and for transformer class i used
info.magnolia.ui.form.field.transformer.composite.DelegatingCompositeFieldTransformer
but now i want to use
info.magnolia.ui.form.field.definition.SelectFieldDefinition
instead of SwitchableFieldDefinitionbut I am unable to do so with any of the transformer class.
I also searched and found similar thread here but it has the incomplete answer!
According to https://documentation.magnolia-cms.com/display/DOCS/Switchable+field you can define a property named "selectionType" with the value "select".
I haven't tested that though.
If you have a look in SwitchableFieldDefinition, it looks promising though, because there's really a property with that name and it just defaults to "radio" but can be overwritten.
I need to put an HTML code on dragging event. Like there is some HTML text that gets dragged with Cursor.
By default first column of ListGrid goes with Cursor. But I want to generate separate Text for it.
So, is it possible to do that?
Or Is there any other option to do that?
Please help me in this.
Thanks.
Whats displayed (by default) during a drag event in ListGrid is defined by ListGrid.dragTrackerMode and ListGrid.titleField.
ListGrid will default to first field to obtain the description to be shown during a drag, based on titleField.
If you already have another field in the grid from which you can obtain the text, use listGrid.setTitleField("other-field-name");
A custom title can be defined by overriding ListGrid.getDragTrackerTitle
If multiple records are selected, and dragged, drag tracker/title/etc. will be based on first selected record.
Check other ListGrid methods that allow drag tracker customizations as well.
I am using devexpress aspxgridview in asp.net 3.5 web application.
on pageload, I have a label control on top of the page whose text for example is "abc".
I am trying to set the value of the label with the page number selected by the user from the grid using onpageindexchanged event.
But the label values is not changing. it is still showing the old value "abc". what may be the problem?
To change other controls during the PageIndexChanged event, you might need to disable callbacks (see the ASPxGridView.EnableCallBacks property) and place both the text box and grid control onto the UpdatePanel.
Alternatively, you can do it on the client-side with javascript if you want to keep callbacks enabled. There's a sample project attached here:
