Is it possible to edit the Email templates in 3Scale to include
html tags and css for better visual?
If I want to achieve this, is there a workaround while leveraging the Email templates inside 3scale admin developer portal?
Thanks
It's currently not possible to add HTML tags on any email template.

Currently using a system to send emails in which templates are created in MailChimp. From the codebase, using mandrill, hit the madrill API to utilize the template and send emails where they need to go.
MailChimp auto creates an Unsubscribe Link. Is it possible to replace this? I've tried using asterisk|UNSUB|asterisk in the template and I can pull in my unsub link but the auto generated unsubscribe is still there.
I want to get rid of the MailChimp auto generated unsub. Is this possible?
Try this
<a href='{{unsub "anyUrlToYouWantToAddForUnsubPurpose.com"}}'> Unsubscribe Here. </a> in your template code .
The customer in Netsuite gets an email with the generated invoice attached as a pdf. The requirement is to change the body of the email. I am unable to locate the template that has this info to modify. Please advise.
The current body of the email is:
"Please open the attached file to view your Invoice.
To view the attachment, you first need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you don't have it yet, visit Adobe's Web site http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep.html to download it."
`Customize-->Transaction Forms-->Whichever invoice form you're using`.
Under this form you should be able to choose which email template to send.
To find this email template,
Customize-->Transaction form PDF/HTML layouts
Under this menu you should be able to select and customize the email template however you want. Make sure the template you edit corresponds to the template that is showing on the form.
You may need to or have the desire to enable advanced/PDF/HTML templates, which allows you to edit and customize forms in a much more robust fasion using HTML/XML/CSS, Freemarker, and BFO. (See suiteanswers: 48703)
I know the original post is several years old, but I too found myself searching for answers recently in stackoverflow so I thought I would post the answer to this questioon.
Use the global search bar to type in Email Template. You can customize from there. I've attached a screenshot that replaces the generic message
"Please open the attached file to view your Invoice.
To view the attachment, you first need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you don't have it yet, visit Adobe's Web site http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep.html to download it."
It has been awhile since I found and got this email template to work, so it is possible there may be another section where you have to set the preference to use this customized email template.
How can I create an email template and send to someone and then the person can make edits right in their email account?
Is there a way I can do this with mailchimp or there is another service for it?
Used my browser's developer tools to inspect element and made my edits
You can use Mailchimp's mc:edit feature!
Mark any element with a unique mc:edit="identifier" and that area becomes editable under the DESIGN tab in the templates area in your MC account.
I am currently studying on Responsive Email template. I saw some of the templates online using Attribute Selector like this: h1[class="title"]. Why don't just just h1.title, is there any special trick for doing Email template like this?
This trick is done to stop some email clients from recognizing this tag. The most common use of this would be to hide tags that are only used in a mobile version of this email.
For instance the Yahoo.com email client, does not recognize media types or css using the bracketed format. So by using this format you can trick Yahoo mail to not parse css specifically used for the mobile version.
I can create forms via templates with no problem. I found a plugin (create-page) from Adaptavist that allows you to create pages from a template. When a user clicks the create-page macro link it creates/saves the page from the template without allowing the user to change the fields.
I want the create-page macro to allow the user to fill in the form fields before saving the new page.
Is there a way to do this with this macro or perhaps there's another way of doing this?
You can try out ConfiForms plugin for Confluence. Quite easy to use.
The form-mail macro from Adaptavist was the answer. It allows you to create email forms inside your pages. Mail form NG plugin is free to use up to version 3.03 for Confluence up to version 5.3.4
