Project Level DrawnBy Parameter in Altium - altium-designer

I have a Schematic template that refers to the DrawnBy parameter and others to fill in the title block. This works fine if I edit each sheet's document parameters to display the correct information. However, I want to use the project parameters to fill in the relevant information.
The schematic documents have default parameters such as, DrawnBy, Revision, etc, that override the project parameters so each sheet needs to be manually edited for author, dates, and revisions.
How do you override the default document parameters with project parameters?

This would be a better fit for the electronics.stackexchange.com site.
On the schematic document or template (sheet), each field is represented by using the custom text =ParameterName. Once you have the document open in the context of a project, you can add project-level parameters via the menu Project > Project Options, Parameters tab. Add the parameter using the same name that was used on the document. All documents sharing the parameter name will inherit the value entered here.
Don't add any parameter to this list that should be unique to each sheet.

Group AEM (6.2) component configurations

I'm currently building a component that has TouchUI configuration properties separated with three tabs (Standard, CASL, GDPR). Each tab has the same set of options available and my current config names are similar to the following:
./standardMarketingText
./standardThirdpartyText
./gdprMarketingText
./gdprThirdpartyText
./caslMarketingText
./caslThirdpartyText
(There are several other options for standard, gdpr, casl but I left them out for brevity)
While this works, I'm hoping to instead store the values in the JCR as a JSON node per category. For example:
casl = {"marketingText"="m test", "thirdpartyText"="tp test"}
gdpr = {"marketingText"="gdpr m test", "thirdpartyText"="gdpr tp test"}
This way I can load all "casl" (or others) options at once when I need them (there isn't a case where I would only load one "casl" option)
I have attempted using granite/ui/components/foundation/form/multifield however, it asks to "Add field". I only want one set of each, and not provide the ability to add another set of properties under each tab. Is there a way to accomplish this without overriding the multifield resourceType?
There are multiple ways to achieve what you are looking at, I would look at the reusability as there are similar named properties for different categories (in your case tabs). To group them you could do that at node level by correctly defining the name property for each tab.
For above provided values, you could do something like -
./standard/marketingText
./standard/thirdpartyText
./gdpr/marketingText
./gdpr/thirdpartyText
./casl/marketingText
./casl/thirdpartyText
Your each tab stores the properties in named node (standard, gdpr, casl). In addition you could have a single SlingModel/WCMUsePojo that can adapt to these nodes to provide the Pojo with accessor to property values.
As far as getting JSON is concerned, your SlingModel or WCMUsePojo can provide a method to return JSON based string for the values.

How to link an Input Control to a report's Parameter

I'm unable to link an Input Control to my report's Parameter. I feel I'm doing right, but I can't see the desired result in the final report.
My intention is to create a list, filled by some options, and display the list in a report as a parameter, so the user can (multi)select the options. As far as I know, I must create an Input Control on the server, create a Parameter on the report using the same name between the Input Control and the Parameter.
I've created a List of Values named ListaCalificaciones as follows:
Then, this is the Input Control:
Finally, this is the parameter:
However, when it comes to show the report on Jasper Server's web interface, I can't see a filled input:
Am I missing something?
By the way, I'm using Jasper Studio 6.6.0 and Jasper Server 7.1.0 (compiled version 20180504_1307).
Edit 2018/10/05 13:04
I've changed the input control, so that the id is ic_calificaciones and the name stays as it was (Calificaciones). I've found a way to make it work. First, I deploy the report to my server (local server in my case). Then, I edit the report, go to "Controls and resources", remove the ic_calificaciones parameter and add a InputControl parameter to the report. That way the Calificaciones parameter gets filled up with options.
I found the solution, it was just in front, but due to a poor UI I just didn't realise...
You must edit your parameter's name to match the Input Control's name, in my case it ought to be ic_valoracion. Then, the parameter-to-input-control-binding has to be made when publishing the report to the server.
So, being in Jasper Studio, click on publish button, as seen in the following picture:
Now, select the location where to publish the report. Then, the second step is what we're looking for, it's the place where you must select the resources to publish. As seen in the next image, you must edit your parameter's type to select "Link To Resource", click on whichever place and a new prompt will appear. Now, there, select the desired Input Control.
Finally, test your report.

How to Create or edit existing PCB template (Title block) in Altium Designer v17

I would like to create a personalize PCB template (Title block) for my company which include company information and logo. So I wanted to know how can I use or edit existing PCB sheet templates according to my needs?
Pariksit.
THIS ISN'T A QUESTION ABOUT PROGRAMMING. I'll answer but don't worry if someone delete the question.
I like to create my own title blocks. You can do that creating a schematic component and introducing the parameters you want.
In your schematic library, add a new component called Title_Block. Use lines and strings to create the fields.
I put these strings in red to show that are special strings starting with '=' sign.
These special strings will be replaced automatically by Altium when you create a parameters with the same name. I put some Altium default parameters (SheetNumber, SheetTotal, CurrentDate and Title) and two that we'll create (VersionRevision and Project). You can see other default special strings here: Schematic Text Strings.
In your schematic sheet, disable the Title Block to introduce yours. Right click on the schematic, Options > Sheet..., and uncheck the Title Block box.
Create your own parameters on Project > Project Options tab Parameters like this:
Now, when you add the component called _Title_Block it seems like this:
In Schematic Page,
Design->Project Template ->Choose a File
Now, following location will be open.
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Altium\AD16\Templates
Here, you can find like A3,A4 different template for Schematic and PCB also.
You can Edit that as per requirement.
To Edit or Change the logo in Template sheet:
Place->Drawing tool->Graphic.

How to hide the value of a tag in Enterprise Architect documentation

I made a custom template on Enterprise Architect that is a slight modification of the requirements template that came with the program. I edited the template to make it that the value of a specific tag will also be included in the documentation.
"Requirement Type: {Element.valueOf(****)}"**
However, not every element in my document has a value for that specific tag. Is there a way I can have that line show up only when the tag has a value? Or have the documentation say
""Requirement Type: none"
if there is no value?
I am using EA version 8.0.860 from Sparx Systems
If you are using version 10, there is a new feature called Fragment Template. You could move the specific part of the document that you would like to show/hide into a Fragment Template by performing the following steps:
Create a new Fragment Template
Configure the fragment, e.g.
package>
diagram>
element>
Requirement Type: {Element.valueOf(****)}
<element
<diagram
<package
On the Document Options, go to Element Filter tab
Click Add Filter
On the drop-down Search On, choose TagValue
Check the Property, set Condition to "Equal To", and set the value as the Tag name
Check the Value, set Condition to "Equal To", and do not set the value
Check the Required, then press OK button to close Add Filters window. This means that if the Tagged Value has no value, it will not be shown.
Press OK button to close Document Options window
You may create more than one fragment according to your needs.
Import the fragment template into your main template.
But since you are using version 8, IMO the options that you have are:
Adding "Requirement Type:" text into every Tagged Value that has value
OR, adding "none" into every Tagged Value that has no value.
You could create an EA Script to automate number 1 and number 2, because those are repetitive tasks.

TYPO3 extension: how to find certain TS setting

I found in typo3 admin side(/typo3), you can have two ways to set up TS,
you can set up through template->root, I think TS here will affect the whole site.
you can set up through template->certain page, it will only affect this page.
So my question is:
If I want to find where(which page) has TS setting such as : code = LIST, how could I do?
Use Web > Template module it has tools, you can for an example use Template Analyzer for the search
Try querying the database in phpMyAdmin or similar. The following looks in Template Setup:
SELECT pid, config, constants
FROM sys_template
WHERE config LIKE '%code = LIST%'
Replace config with constants to look in Template Constants. pid is the page ID.
If it is not set in the TypoScript, it perhaps has been set in the plugin itself. Just check the plugin content element itself.
In the Template module, go to the page where the setting is in effect.
Use the TSOB (Typo Script Object Browser) to search for "list":
This must show you all TS for this page that contains "list".
If you don't see the setting you can run a cmd/ctrl-F Search over the entire results.
You would have to search for "[code] = LIST".
Which will lead you to the following entry:
Hovering over the label will produce the above tooltip. Copy the line number.
Now change to the Template Analyzer. Here, you can click through all cascading templates and search for the line number:
This is definitely the line that sets that value.
From the "Template hierarchy" tree you will easily find the template that contains the setting.
