How to Create or edit existing PCB template (Title block) in Altium Designer v17 - altium-designer

I would like to create a personalize PCB template (Title block) for my company which include company information and logo. So I wanted to know how can I use or edit existing PCB sheet templates according to my needs?
Pariksit.

THIS ISN'T A QUESTION ABOUT PROGRAMMING. I'll answer but don't worry if someone delete the question.
I like to create my own title blocks. You can do that creating a schematic component and introducing the parameters you want.
In your schematic library, add a new component called Title_Block. Use lines and strings to create the fields.
I put these strings in red to show that are special strings starting with '=' sign.
These special strings will be replaced automatically by Altium when you create a parameters with the same name. I put some Altium default parameters (SheetNumber, SheetTotal, CurrentDate and Title) and two that we'll create (VersionRevision and Project). You can see other default special strings here: Schematic Text Strings.
In your schematic sheet, disable the Title Block to introduce yours. Right click on the schematic, Options > Sheet..., and uncheck the Title Block box.
Create your own parameters on Project > Project Options tab Parameters like this:
Now, when you add the component called _Title_Block it seems like this:

In Schematic Page,
Design->Project Template ->Choose a File
Now, following location will be open.
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Altium\AD16\Templates
Here, you can find like A3,A4 different template for Schematic and PCB also.
You can Edit that as per requirement.
To Edit or Change the logo in Template sheet:
Place->Drawing tool->Graphic.

Microsoft Access Where Condition doesn't works in a subform

I built a form called: "clientlist":
I put a macro with where condition on click:
="IDclient_logindata=" & [Maschere]![clientlist]![IDclient]
this means that when I click on an id client, access will open another form with the respective IDclient. For example if I click on IDclient 3:
it open another form called "client_logindata" filter to IDclient_logindata 3.
Then, I built a navigational form:
using clientlist as subform. But when I click a record, any record, it open every time the client_logindata form with IDclient_logindata form = 1, why it doesn' works in a subform?
Design View of "Navigation Form":
Solved in this way: ="IDclient_logindata=" & [IDclient]
When using a subform, references to controls need to be relative to the main form where the subform is treated as a child control.
Consider adjusting the conditional to the following structure. Do note this is the English version:
="IDclient_logindata=" & Forms!myMainForm!mySubform.Form!mySubformControl
Or specifically tailored to yours (be sure to get exact spelling of all objects):
="IDclient_logindata=" & Forms!NavigationForm!clientlist.Form!IDclient
The OP has found a working solution which is much simpler than what follows. However, I was still interested to see if we could get something on the original model to work, and I'd guess that for users attempting to achieve the same thing using VBA rather than embedded macro's the following may still be useful.
The issue with the code in the original question is that the relevant form isn't open at the 'top level' but as a subform.
Form "normal" subforms, you'd refer to the control on the subform like this:
Forms!navform!clientlist.form!IDclient
Where navform is the name of the outer form. Or in the generalised case, like this:
Forms!Mainform!Subform1.Form!ControlName
However, the "Navigation Form" Wizard, when dragging subforms onto the Add New tab in Layout view doesn't name the subforms nicely. So I had to code it this way:
Forms![Navigation Form]!NavigationSubform.Form!ControlName
To my surprise this code continued to work when I added further forms within the Navigation Forms tabs and had controls named the same as one in question. I guess NavigationSubform automatically points to the tab with the current focus.

Cannot add a third content field

I'm kinda new to typo, so maybe I am just missing something.
I'm trying to add a third content field to Typo3 4.5.
What I've done so far.
Edit my template and added a new block
Added the block via TemplatVoila > Update Mapping > Modify DS / TO with Element Preset "Page-Content Elements [Pos.: 0]
Mapped it to the new block in the template
But I am missing something as the new field isn't showing up in the Page edit screen.
EDIT: I've found the Block in the "Edit page properties" but how to show it on standard edit screen?
Any added content area will appear automatically in your TV-View-module. So if you dont see it in there, then
you may have duplicate fields names
wrong column positions
or the existing template is using a »beLayout«-section, which shows only the first two content areas (see example in reference http://docs.typo3.org/typo3cms/extensions/templavoila/ExtTemplavoila/StaticDataStructures/ExampleForBelayout/Index.html)
The TemplaVoila template is split into TS (TemplaVoilà Template Object) and DS (TemplaVoilà Data Structure) records, may you paste the content of the field „Data Structure XML“ of the DS record here? In there are all necessary information.
The two template files should be located in your general storage folder, your TypoScript root file should be there as well.

TYPO3 extension: how to find certain TS setting

I found in typo3 admin side(/typo3), you can have two ways to set up TS,
you can set up through template->root, I think TS here will affect the whole site.
you can set up through template->certain page, it will only affect this page.
So my question is:
If I want to find where(which page) has TS setting such as : code = LIST, how could I do?
Use Web > Template module it has tools, you can for an example use Template Analyzer for the search
Try querying the database in phpMyAdmin or similar. The following looks in Template Setup:
SELECT pid, config, constants
FROM sys_template
WHERE config LIKE '%code = LIST%'
Replace config with constants to look in Template Constants. pid is the page ID.
If it is not set in the TypoScript, it perhaps has been set in the plugin itself. Just check the plugin content element itself.
In the Template module, go to the page where the setting is in effect.
Use the TSOB (Typo Script Object Browser) to search for "list":
This must show you all TS for this page that contains "list".
If you don't see the setting you can run a cmd/ctrl-F Search over the entire results.
You would have to search for "[code] = LIST".
Which will lead you to the following entry:
Hovering over the label will produce the above tooltip. Copy the line number.
Now change to the Template Analyzer. Here, you can click through all cascading templates and search for the line number:
This is definitely the line that sets that value.
From the "Template hierarchy" tree you will easily find the template that contains the setting.

How to add a simple text label in a jqGrid form?

When using the Add or Edit form from the pager I'm wondering how a simple static label can be added in the form without it creating any additional columns in it's affect on colNames[]'s and colModel[]'s. For example I have a quite simple typical Add form which opens from the pager containing a few label's and form elements: Name, Email, Web Site, etc., and then the lower section of the form has a few drop down menus containing the number 1 through 10 with the idea being to ask the user to pick a value between 1 and 10 to put a value on the importance to them about the product or service which is listed beside it. Just above this section I want to add some text only to give a brief instruction asking the user to "Choose the importance of the following products and services using the scale: [1=Low interest --- 10=Very high interest]". I cannot figure out how to get a text label inserted in the form without having to define a column with a formoption{} etc which is not needed for just some descriptive text. I know about the "bottominfo: 'some text'" for adding text to the bottom of the form but I need to insert some text similar to that mid-way (or other positions) in the form without it affecting the tabular structure of the grid. Is this even possible? TIA.
You can modify Edit or Add forms inside of afterShowForm. The ids of the form fields are like "tr_Name". There consist from "tr_" prefix and the corresponding column name.
I modified the code example from my old answer so that in the Add dialod there exist an additional line with the bold text "Additional Information:". In the "Edit" dialog (like one want in the original question) the input field for one column is disabled. You can see the example live here. I hope that a working code example can say more as a lot of words.

How to change the SSRS input parameters position in report

My SSRS report contains 7 input parameters and while running my report the size of the parameter(i.e. length) is increasing.
One of my input parameter(drop down list) may contain 100 characters so the size is not constant but i want to place all parameters in 2 lines or 3 lines(in a row).
Now it is coming 2 parameters per a row
Please advice
As gbn indicates, it's not easy to change the built in report server method of presenting the parameters. SSRS likes to always use two parameters per line, presented in the order that they exist in the report (which must match the dependency order.)
So the alternatives that gbn mentions: Both involve building a "Wrapper" application: some custom code or a web page that you can code however you like to get the parameters. Then you call Reporting Services, either in code or by passing a formatted URL with your parameters. The report can be displayed in a frame, new window, or passed as a stream to where ever you'd like.
The URL access is pretty straightforward and reliable: I often use it either by hand (to create "favorites") or in code.

For what you are looking for, these might be more work than you expected, but they will be extremely flexible for your interface.

You can certainly do that, just right click on the RDL file in the solution explorer and select view code. then move the XML tags named <ReportParameter Name="Nameofparameter"> under <ReportParameters> according to where ever you want to position. And then save it. thats it!!!
The report parameters are kind of floating in values of 2, so if u have 4 report parameters then it will be shown as 1,2 next line 3,4. Best of luck!!
Use ASP.NET for the paramaters and a ReportViewer control or URL access to render. Seriously.
I don't know of any option to present parameters any way other then the default
I believe you could try using jQuery. The report parameters are rendered in a table under a div tag with class sqlrv-ParameterContainer. Write a jQuery or JavaScript function that will extract the full innerHTML from this div ie. the table content and then extract the table row information like the <label> or <input> tags.
Create your desired table structure with <table><tr><td>{extracted sections}</td><td></td></tr></table> or leave it to your requirement...
Then just append this new HTML structure in place of the original default structure.
In jQuery it will be like
$(".sqlrv-ParameterContainer").html();
which will give you the entire table structure that comes inside the parameter. Use XML parsing and get the input controls and all. Extract these controls as-is, don't change anything.
$(".sqlrv-ParameterContainer table").remove(); // it will remove the SSRS rendered default table from DOM
$(".sqlrv-ParameterContainer table").appendChild('<table><tr>......</tr></table>'); // Append your custom html structure here....
This was something that came to my mind quickly... I would suggest you test it... :)
This doesn't help the OP with SSRS-2008 but in case it helps others - Microsoft have improved this in SSRS 2016 - parameters can now be easily managed via the GUI in Report Builder / Visual studio:
