Unable to launch AVD in VSCode - flutter

This problem seems to only happen for a specific project I have saved on my desktop which was cloned from GitHub.
Clicking on Run > Run Without Debugging, I am prompted to "Select a device to use". This is unusual, because usually, VSC provides the android devices I have downloaded on Android Studio as possible suggestions - however I don't see this.
Running the command: Flutter: Launch Emulator, I am able to choose an android device. However, after VSC launches the device, it displays the message: "Waiting for Pixel 3a API 29 to connect"
60 seconds later it gives the following error: "Failed to launch Pixel 3a API 29: Error. Emulator didn't connect within 60 seconds."
I only seem to have this problem with this flutter project. Creating a new project, I am able to connect to my AVD. I have tried removing and cloning the repository from GitHub to my desktop several times however I end up with the same error.
Edit: Yes, I have tried stopping and wiping the data of the AVD, however this doesn't work either.

Emulator works in Android Studio but not VS Code

I'm running emulated devices in android studio just fine, but when i try running it in VS Code, I'm get this error: "Failed to launch Pixel 2 API 27: Error: Emulator didn't connect within 60 seconds"
saw some videos and guides, but they all say to reinstall the emulator or wipe the emulated device, which doesn't help.
what could be the problem?
trying to use this for a flutter project that i'm trying to create, and it kind hurts testing.
I found your problem is the same as this
Steps:
Open Android Studio Tools -> AVD Manager Virtual Device -> Actions (Refer Image) Click On Stop Now Start Emulator Now it's working fine :)
or please visit that link Failed to launch`
Apparently, the only way to run the emulator, is to run the device in Android studio, and then run the app in visual code.

Upon upgrading Android Studio, a particular project of mines cant seem to run. I get an error saying this The project is not a graddle based project

Additionally, In the event log, I also get errors which say "could not read ok from ADB server", "failed to start daemon", "error cant connect to daemon","C:\Users\pilla\AppData\Local\Android\Sdk\platform-tools\adb.exe start-server' failed -- run manually if necessary".
The project is a flutter based project and used to run before I updated Android studio. I tried uninstalling Android studio, deleting all related files, and performing a fresh install as well as looking at similar project sync related issues but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have any idea how I can get this project up and running again?

emulator broken: This adb server's $ADB_VENDOR_KEYS is not set

Well a windows 10 update broke sleep, the computer went to sleep with the emulator open and now that's broken. When I run an app to launch in the emulator it will boot the emulator but won't install just time out. When I try and run an app into a running emulator instance Studio says:
com.android.ddmlib.AdbCommandRejectedException: device unauthorized.
This adb server's $ADB_VENDOR_KEYS is not set
Try 'adb kill-server' if that seems wrong.
Otherwise check for a confirmation dialog on your device.
Error while Installing APK
I've followed some of the other threads here. I've tried changing
the environmental variable in control panel, but in fact I think it
pointed to the right place originally, where the sdks are these
days.
I've tried restarting the PC. I did try deleting a couple of
adb files, that didn't work.
I've tried deleting all the sdks and
downloading them again.
I've tried uninstalling and updating Android
Studio, several times. Now on AS 3.1, still not working.
Bit of a nightmare really.
How do I set the vendor keys? Using AS console commands? Can anyone point me to a dummies guide, this is a bit of a tangent for me, wish I could fix it from the GUI.
The working fix for this particular issue is to enable Developer options on your emulator and enable "USB Debugging".
OK so eventually downloading a nexus 4 x86 image android 27, with no play store worked. Sorry if this is repetition. Long live working emulators
Combining answers from here and there gives an answer that also worked for me in IntelliJ IDEA. I assume the issue is the same, since the emulator and AVD is the same.
Option 1:
Restart the emulator from AVD
Option 2:
Wipe the emulator data
Option 3: Stop the emulator. Then make sure it is up to date and try again.
If it still does not work, restart the adb server and retry.
adb kill-server && adb start-server
If it still does not work, perhaps your adb is out of date... somehow. This was the case for me. Running the following fixed that for me.
adb devices
adb server is out of date. killing...
* daemon started successfully *
List of devices attached
emulator-5554 device
If it is now working for some emulators but not newly created ones, take note of the message in the emulator selection box: "Press Ok in the Allow USB Debugging Dialog"
Sadly, there is no such dialog. So go and enable Developer Mode in the settings of your emulated OS by tapping the Build Number several times. Then go to the Developer Settings and enable USB debugging.
After recent upgrades of emulator, the virtual device*) stays unauthorized. When I cold boot the emulator, sometimes I see the expected confirmation dialog, but this dialog goes away immediately, leaving no chance to click 'OK'.
We're aware of this problem and plan to fix it soon.
* Here, I was running x86 with API 28 and Google Play on Windows 10. I don't know which other scenarios are effected.
For anyone who might encounter this in the future -- I mean the ultimate issue of receiving the error, "This adb server's $ADB_VENDOR_KEYS is not set" despite not having any (or any sufficient) opportunity to click OK...
Resolution: In the Developer Settings, select the option to, "Remove existing authorized adb keys on device." Repeat the previous action -- the prompt will once again appear, as if the very first time.
-Mike
Go to developer options in your device and click on 'Revoke USB debugging authorizations'. Disconnect and reconnect your device. You'll get a prompt on your device to authorize your computer to connect to your device. click on 'OK' and your set.
Basically, the authorization key has gone out of date or it's no longer present. So, we just have to set a new autorization key and revoke the old ones.

"Installation or uninstallation is not working temporarily" error when trying to launch Tizen watch application from Tizen SDK

When trying to launch the native watch application from Tizen IDE, I see the strange message "Certain application categories, such as "Watch Application", cannot be launched by "Run As".
Indeed, I try to use Run As from the project local menu to launch my app. But how else I am supposed to launch my application on the emulator?
The emulator device (watch) is up and running, visible on desktop as a separate widget. It is selected. The signing configuration is set up.
On the console output I see the message processing result : FATAL_ERROR [61].
I also tried to launch through the created launch configuration but this results the same error message.
The IDE logs show the following stack trace:

P.S. I add "eclipse" tag because Tizen SDK is very clearly Eclipse based IDE. Using Tizen IDE 2.3.1.
Watch face applications(Web/native) are never installed as widgets. You cannot see them in app menu.
Reason:
Within your tizen-manifest.xml file in your project, you'll find below line there
<watch-application appid="org.tizen.watchsample" exec="watchsample" ambient-support="true">
which makes your app as watch application and these apps are known as watch faces because they will be used in setting as the main watch in gear.
And on emulator, you cannot change the watch face on the home screen. Hence, you won't be able to test your watch application that way.
Had the same issue. My problem was certificate setup.
i followed there instructions: http://127.0.0.1:50224/help/topic/org.tizen.addon.certificate/html/dev_env/setting_author_certificate.htm
(link is from help and should work in browser when Tizen IDE is up, alternately you can go to Tizen IDE -> Help -> Help Content and search Certificate.
More specific: Distributor certificate i had was wrong (use the pass received by Samsung by email)
After fixing certificate, don't forget to right click your device in Connection Explorer and click Permit to install applications.

Can't start emulator for Android Studio

I'm using Android Studio, the new official IDE for Android. I can't never get the emulator running.
A black emulator screen containing the word "android" flashing appears, without change for minutes. I have waited more than 30 minutes without any change.
Must I use eclipse instead?
The IDE shows the messages:
Waiting for device. C:\Users\Yasser\AppData\Local\Android\android-sdk\tools\emulator.exe
-avd Nexus7 -netspeed full -netdelay none
You are getting blank screen So try to create an emulator with uncheck Use Host Gpu.
You can follow this step for creating new Emulator..
Click on Create virtual device , select Phone than choose Nexus 5 from list and select Lollipop with api 21 and Target Android 5.0 . On next Page uncheck Use Host Gpu and press Finish .
try and let me know if still you are facing same issue..
