How I can secure an approval number from the General Administration of Press and Publication of China? - app-store

Apple requires I do this to have my game for sale in China.

In-App Purchase Programming - iPhone - Can this unlock content on my web site community too?

I am in a development team debating whether we should process subscriptions for premium content
1) on our online community web site or
2) in our iPhone app via the In-app purchase feature.
The question we still have is:
If a member of our online site (registered member) downloads the iPhone app (as another way to interact with our online content) and decides to purchase the "Premium" features via the iPhone in-app purchase feature (unlocking new content on the iPhone app)
Can our servers then know that this member has upgraded via the app and in response unlock content on our web site, too?
The store sends the app a message whenever a user makes an in app purchase, so your app could react to the message by sending a message to your server. The question I would have is whether the contract with Apple would permit this, particularly if the user could buy the content on the web site without paying Apple and then access it through the app.

Appstore approval - Redeeming third-party gift codes through app

We have been asked by our client to develop an application that would enable redeeming gift codes that unlock additional content. The Application itself would not provide a way to purchase those codes.
It would work something like this -
1) a customer shops for groceries
2) when reciving the receipt/bill at the check-out the customer recieves a gift code.
3) entering this code in app unlocks additional premium content inaccessible otherwise.
The question is if this app would be approved by Apple?
In our opinion this model falls into the following point in Apple’s App Store Review Guidelines
11.14 Apps can read or play approved content (specifically magazines,
newspapers, books, audio, music, and video) that is subscribed to or
purchased outside of the app, as long as there is no button or
external link in the app to purchase the approved content. Apple will
not receive any portion of the revenues for approved content that is
subscribed to or purchased outside of the app
but on the other hand there's this point:
11.1 Apps that unlock or enable additional features or functionality
with mechanisms other than the App Store will be rejected
Have any of you know of application using similar business model?
We did something very similar for a major snack food company. The user entered EAN codes (the European equivalent of UPC codes) from the packaging to unlock different musical instruments from within the application. Apple did not reject the app and it is still for sale today.

Can I transfer an app to another account once its up under my account?

We have a company account for the iOS developer program.
One of our clients wants to put the app we developed for them up under their own company name, but they've only just sent off for enrollment and as such they want to put the app up under our name until they get their enrollment though.
Is it possible to "swap" the app to their account once theirs is set up?
Thanks
This issue has come up in the past. I know it used to be that you had to get Apple to do this manually, and it took a long time to boot. I imagine they'd like to improve their process for it, and I'd suggest contacting them to ask where they are at with it.
I wouldn't do it. Apple is really slow answering support question so you can easily loose like few months to transfer the app. But it is doable as stated here: Transferring ownership of an iPhone app on the app store
Just got this email from iTunesConnect!
Apps can now be transferred from one developer to another within
iTunes Connect, for example after an acquisition or when a
distribution deal expires. Transferring the ownership of an app does
not affect the app’s availability on the App Store. All ratings and
reviews will be transferred and your customers will continue to have
access to all available app updates.
To transfer an app, go to the app’s App Summary page in the Manage
Your Applications module on iTunes Connect and click Transfer App.
Make sure that:
Your account is active
You have accepted the most current version of your contracts
Your app has at least one approved version
Your app is in the Ready for Sale, Invalid Binary, Rejected, Developer Rejected, or Developer Removed from Sale state
Any associated In-App Purchases are in the Ready to Submit, Ready for Sale, Rejected, Developer Removed from Sale, or Approved
state
You know the Apple ID of the recipient’s Team Agent and their Team ID.
For more information on app transfer, see the video tutorial on iTunes
Connect. To find answers to common questions about app transfer, see
the FAQ on iTunes Connect.

publishing iPhone apps without owning a website and tax details?

I am an iPhone developer from India and want to publish my iPhone apps to the app store using Apple's "Individual Developer" program.
But the catch is I don't own a website. Can I publish an iPhone app without specifying a support website at iTunes connect? Is it mandatory to specify a website there?
I am a non US resident. What should I do while filing tax details? Should I leave it blank? What would be the effect of leaving it blank?
You can't leave these fields empty, for the website, you can host a web page describing your app in any free hosting provider, and use the url!
For the tax details, you have to specify your bank account info! and depending on that, itunes connect can tell you if it needs more tax details or not!

iPhone statistics access to client

I have created a iPhone application and got successfully approved by apple. The application has been uploaded in my company's developer account.
Now my client wants access to see the sales report. I cannot give him my company's developer account log in details because the account has many applications other than my client's.
Is there a way to allow access to my client to see the financial reports for his applications alone.
What are the alternatives available.
Update:
My client is particular that he wants to log in and see.
As per my knowledge, the only way he can see the report details is if I had uploaded the application using his own developer account.
One of the developer says,
"We will submit the iPhone application to app store from your iTunes appStore account. SO you will naturally have the access to all the available data. Please note that you need to buy a paid account for submitting the application to app store"
Does the iTunes appStore account mentioned above refers to developer account or is it different
If your client does not already have a developer account, he needs to enroll into the Developer Program and resubmit the App through his Developer ID. This will require an annual $99 fee to maintain access to iTunes Connect.
There is no "Sales Report Viewing" account... Apple will pay HIM for the sales of the App, not you. It sounds like you are paying Him now for his App sales from iTunes Connect.
If it's his App and you simply did the programming work, then you should have submitted it through his Developer Program plan in the first place - not yours. He should have given YOU access to iTunes Connect through his plan to submit the App, or have done that work himself.
Next time, you'll need to build this level of detail into the contract - specifically whether you will be paying him a monthly commission on sales, or he paid you for your time and the App is now his to manage with Apple.

One idea: you could make a modified version of AppSalesMobile that has your iTunesConnect username, password, and the apple ID of his particular app built in, but didn't display information about any other apps, and build him a copy for his phone.

Might be easier to just send him the sales in an email every day, though.
