I generated Web service client using the given WSDL in Eclipse. I have written a main method to invoke the Proxy class for getting the response.

You are free to choose a port that is not in use on your system like 8080. In your program change server to localhost:, e.g. localhost:8080.
A problem is that you can't connect to https. Your web service should also allow http.

I have some issue to configurate Ngrok.
I have installed the Ngrok on linux CentOS server dedicated (IP 192.168.1.124), it works correctly the tunneling is ok.
My question is: how i can reach the web page on 127.0.0.1:4040 in order to check the traffic on my Ngrok server?
The web interface page is only accessible on the server where ngrok is running, but if this is a linux minimal server (without gui and any type of browser) I can't see it.
is there a way to make it accessible also in LAN?
e.g. I have another client that can reach the IP where ngrok is running but if i put on web browser http:\192.168.1.124:4040 nothing is showing.
I see from netstat that this port is not listening so isn't a firewall problem or other.
Is possible to change config of Ngrok? otherwise are there other possibilities ? do i have to use a reverse proxy or something like?
Any ideas?

Locate your ngrok's config file:
$ ngrok config check
Valid configuration file at /home/youruser/.config/ngrok/ngrok.yml
Add to the config file the following line:
web_addr: 192.168.1.124:4040
In case you want to expose it to all interfaces, you can replace that value with 0.0.0.0:4040
I am having a problem in accessing ports with my Pi. I am using dataplicity to access it online.
I can access my page with this URL.

Can't access when I use this
https://my_id.dataplicity.io:9090/
But I can access it in my local.
http://localhost:9090/
What could possibly be the problem here?

At the present time wormhole forwards HTTP traffic to port 80 on your device but forwarding to other ports is not something that can be achieved by default.
The port forwarding feature is coming as part of our PRO pricing plan in future.
As an interim workaround, it is possible to redirect port 80 on your Pi to another local port on your Pi using a reverse proxy (for example using nginx). Although wormhole itself will still communicate with port 80 on your device, nginx could listen on port 80 and forward this to another local port of your choosing. I have built a working IBM api connect service (loopback) that provides local mySQL data to/from an angular website. I now want to move this service to an Ubuntu web server (appache) so that I can open up the website to external traffic. I have moved installed api connect onto the server and moved the project files across.
But I don't understand how to run the project so that it is available externally. When I run API connect the api is available on a local port address: Web server listening at: http://127.0.0.1:9000.
But in my webpage (angularjs) I can't call this as it tries to connect on the client machine, not server.
Has anyone done this before and if so, can you offer any advice?
You should configure your Apache as a reverse proxy, so that it forwards requests from your public ip address at port 80 (or 443 if you want SSL) to localhost:9000. We are using an internal server to host our staging website. I was trying to use browserstack to do compatibility testing on the virtual environment that they provide. In order to setup the virtual environment, I need to specify the port which is being used by the local web server. How can I find out which port is being used by our server? Do I need to go check the settings from the IIS in the server machine?
Web server can run on any port. But the default port is 80. When you type in the URL of a web site the browser uses the default port 80 and connects to it. There are lot of occasions when other ports are used, mostly when more than one web server is needed in the same machine. Like webmin uses port 10000 by default.
For any web server not using port 80 you have to specify the port also with your url like http://yoursite.com:port in case of default webmin install it is like http://localhost:10000
Note:HTTP uses 80 and HTTPS uses 443 by default.
This is documented in their tab for local testing.
Basically you do not need to provide 80 as a port, because it will be used by default.
If the port number is not provided, a default port number of 80 is
used. If the port number is present in the URL, it will be extracted
automatically. To test servers with SSL, check the HTTPS box. Once the
option is checked, you can enter a SSL port number that is independent
of the HTTP port number. When the connection is established, the HTTP
and HTTPS connections appear as separate links.
I have a swing client which connects to my ejb2 application deployed in JBoss 5.1. There is a particular requirement from Customer to make it available on internet.
The deployment architecture is as follows,
swing_client --> extranet_ip |firewall | --> iis7_machine --> jboss5.1_machine.
jndi properties in client is as follows
Context.PROVIDER_URL=http://extranet_ip:9180/invoker/JNDIFactory
Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY=org.jboss.naming.HttpNamingContextFactory
This configuration works fine when the client is inside intranet. But it does not work in internet (extranet).
When I tried initially I got the error 'Connection refused'
After seeing some posts in various forums, I changed the file server\deploy\http-invoker.sar\META-INF\jboss-service.xml, to reflect the extranet_ip in invokerURL.
Aftet this I am getting the following error.
org.jboss.remoting.CannotConnectException: Can not get connection to server. Problem establishing socket connection for InvokerLocator [socket://10.200.1.193:4546/?dataType=invocation&enableTcpNoDelay=true&marshaller=org.jboss.invocation.unified.marshall.InvocationMarshaller&unmarshaller=org.jboss.invocation.unified.marshall.InvocationUnMarshaller]
Where 10.200.1.193 is the intranet IP address of JBoss Server machine.
I tried changing the trasport parameter in remoting-jboss-beans.xml to http, but at that time client is not working in both intranet and extranet.
Please anybody suggest a way forward for this issue. Or is there any other way to implement RMI over Http in JBoss?
Update: As a solution, I had to change my deployment architecture as follows.
swing_client --> extranet_ip |firewall | --> jboss5.1_machine
where the JBoss Application Server will be directly exposed through firewall. Then update clientConnectAddress in the remoting-jboss-beans.xml to the extranet IP. Also open the ports 8080 & 4446 in the firewall for this address.
This way the swing client is working if I use the jnid properties as follows.
Context.PROVIDER_URL : http://extranet_ip:8080/invoker/JNDIFactory
Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY : org.jboss.naming.HttpNamingContextFactory
But still looking for a solution where there is no need to open any non-standard ports and no need to expose the Application Server directly.
After a long struggle I found a solution for my issue. The solution was to change EJB container's invoker type to http in standardjboss.xml. When the invoker is http, it will use the settings in http-invoker.sar for remote binding.
