Vscode Folding Area - visual-studio-code

Normal editor folding staying left side of html editor. But it did happen I don't know, it folding area moved to up of editor. So How I can fixed it ?
Thank you for helping...
Edit 1
I thought my problem was caused by this but my problem is like that,
there is folding in left side of editor. it's hiding in few second only vue template. It's working normal html files. How can I do like as below ?

This is not related to folding. The thing is called "breadcrumbs", and can be disabled using:
"breadcrumbs.enabled": false

I found solution,
I was using vetur extention. and Vetur published new version which is 0.27.1 and it's not working very well. I installed previous version it's fixed.

Highlighting problem in Jupyter Notebook - VSCode

Lately when using Jupyter Notebook in VS Code to write some assignments for my studies I ran into a quite annoying problem - whenever there is a mistake in my code cell that prevents it from running, the "traceback" (or however you call it) to the place where the error persists is colored with a high-contrast marker (the color depends on the theme used) and makes the content pretty much invisible unless you manually "select" it with the mouse coursor. Is there any way I could fix it without going too much in-depth into VSCode/Jupyter Notebook extension settings?
The highlighting looks like shown below.
Yellow syntax marker problem.
And another one here.
I tried all the themes preinstalled with VS Code such as Monokai, Solarized Light etc., and also a custom theme of my choice called Dracula.
Thanks in advance.
This issue has recently reappeared. While the issue is being fixed you can change the highlight colour within the vscode settings.
Open settings and search for "Workbench:ColorCustomizations"
Image of settings page
Create or alter the "terminal.ansiYellow": "#eed202" to a more appropriate value like "terminal.ansiYellow": "#9b4550". See the linked image.

I also have this problem. It looks like they fixed it less than 1 month ago as of writing this, so it may go away if you update to a recent pre-release of Jupyter in VS Code. Personally, I am going to live with it until the next stable release.

VS Code showing "type/arguments" in editor as labels

I just installed VS Code 1.60.0-insider.
At first I thought it was a bug, but now there are type/arguments hinds/labels in the editor:
(predicate:, callbackfn:, etc.)
How is this called and how to disable it? I searched online but couldn't find any information.
Note: they only appear in TypeScript files.
try use this instruction inside of settings.json, this working well for me.
"editor.inlayHints.enabled": false

How to disable multiple caret selection for html element in VS code?

When I edit html in VS Code, it has started to behave differently than before. When I select an html-element, a caret appears on the closing element as well (see gif). How do I disable this "feature"
Thanks to the comment of rioV8, I was able to figure it out. Seems like is was an update in November 2019, version 1.41 , and I found the settings in VS Code (see image).
I had to disable an option (Mirror Cursor On Matching Tag) that was enabled by default

VS Code turns everything into an html snippet?

a serious limitation for my workflow with vs code is the fact that while typing html everything gets turned into an html tag when pressing tab at the beginning of a line.
entering:
alsdjflkasjdfk + Tab
leads to:
<alsdjflkasjdfk> </alsdjflkasjdfk>
this is a problem since I want to integrate Django html snipptes and they end up not working. Does someone know how to turn this off? I rather just want defined HTML Snipptes than simply everything turning into one.
Try setting:
"emmet.triggerExpansionOnTab": false
This should disable this feature. We are also investigating a different flow for emmet with VSCode 1.12: https://github.com/Microsoft/vscode/issues/21943

Indentation guide for the eclipse editor

Is there a setting or plugin for eclipse that can show indentation guides in the editor? Something like the Codekana plugin for visual studio (not so fancy is also OK). Important that it works with PyDev.
EditBox since v0.0.20 is fixed for support Pydev. Thanks for reporting this. Some default preferences for Python included now, but you are welcomed to share yours here.
This can be achieved this is EditBox.
With some customization through it's preferences you can get to some nice code blocks highlighting of python code (or any other where blocks are signified with whitespace).
It is highly customizable and can achieve the vertical rules codekana style, and various other layouts.
The problem is it doesn't work on PyDev editor from what I see (at least for now). I've opened a feature request for it.
If it's any good, you can still view it's layout when opening a python file with right click "Open With/Text editor". From version 0.20, EditBox fully supports PyDev.
I also tried AnyEdit which has some whitespace highlighting amongst other features, but was not too happy with the results. For example, I had to press they're "show whitespace" button after each change to show the background, and it's not very visually pleasing (it uses eclipse's annotations to highlight whitespace).
IndentGuide is a plugin that does this for Eclipse. I am not sure whether it works for PyDev though.
The closest approximation would be to combine:
showing the whitespace characters (which shows tabs and spaces, but not just tabs)
code folding (available with PyDev)
