I made a custom page type for Blog articles according to the documentation [1].
All works fine, but making an internal link with a Link Browser or the CKeditor Link button is not possible to a Blog page. The page in the page tree is then grayed out, just like for example a sysfolder.
Is this possible with configuration?

Though the documentation states there is no longer a limit to doktyp < 200, there still is a limit for the linkhandler.
In TYPO3 versions below 10.4, the doktype was restricted to numbers smaller than 200 if the custom page type should be displayed in the frontend, and larger than 200 when it is just some storage. This limitation no longer exists, so you can choose a number at will.
When setting the doktype lower than 200, a link can be made.

I'm running into a tedious issue.
I have a VISIO workbook that contains at least 100 pages, my issue is that I have a textbox that makes reference to multiple pages. EXAMPLE: on page 10, I have a textbox that that says: "SEE PAGE 45". The problem is that my document changes page count throughout a project quite often. Therefore, if I add another page before page 45, well its not page 45 anymore, it is page 46, hence, now I have to go back to page 10 and other pages that make reference to page 45 and change the text to page 46!
This is very nerve wrecking! I tried using "User-defined Cells" with ="SEE PAGE "&PAGENUMBER() but that gives you the page number of current page that the shape is located on. Not what I want....
NUTSHELL:
I want page 10's textbox referencing page 45 and if page 45's location changes (i.e. changes to page 46 or 50 or etc) I want that text (on page 10) to update to page 45's new location automatically.
Please help!
Thank you in advance!
Tony
Please check same thread in Russian visio forum (via google translate service)
I have a single page which I built from the same blocks as other pages in the same category, which do work. This page redirects to the 404 page.
I checked to make sure the page was published- it is.
I am able to preview the page in the Experience area and it looks good.
From what I can tell, no other 301s have been set up to override this.
What else can I check?
Try Checking your log files. There are additional information about what is happening.
There were dependencies that were on the page that no longer existed. Apparently, whoever cloned the page used an older (previously working) page, which no longer worked.
The specific element in question was an object reference to an image in a gallery.
We removed the element in the editor, published the page, and it worked great.
I inserted the facebook code where required and absolutely nothing happens or shows up. Using dreamweaver cs6 and in live view or when testing in ANY browser, nothing shows up. It's a blank box. ANy thoughts? I read somewhere that the website must be made into an application of facebook? Is this something?
Specifically, after activating the plugin and properly connecting the plugin to the facebook app, which does work and has been used extensively before hand, comments simply fail to load. There is no comment box, no past comments pull in either (note the app has historical comments already).
In the plugin settings area on the right side of the screen where the comments check box exists, there is a read more link that takes you to the facebook developers page where it discusses adding the facebook comments iframe.
If there is some other location where comment settings might also exist (past the three fields that require the 2 keys and the app name) I could not find them and this was not referenced in the plugin setup.
I have an app with blog records per each user. I have add share button to my app, to give ability to post interesting blog records to users time line or to send to other user. But in default it takes image and text for share as it wants and not always correctly. So I find out that it can be dirven by meta tags (using for example "image" property to set image for share dialog). That's work ok on main page (where I'd like to make ability share with whole application), but on pages of blog records I cann`t customize it. meta tag should be in , but all info (short text and image of blog post) I get later in body, so I can insert it. How can I manage with this? Or may be there is another way to share content with?
What blog engine are you using? If it is a wordpress - try this plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/facebook-share-new/ from offician facebook docs http://developers.facebook.com/docs/. Otherwise I'd suggest to find a facebook plugin for your blog engine using google and install it.
So I created a nice 6 page website hutchspropertyandtree.co.nr using freedomain.co.nr via dropbox public folder. Everything was working and updating properly until i updated with iwebs SEO TOOL. I added meta and title tags as well as description etc... PROBLEM is that even though my .html files in dropbox are correct and show all new code and tags. when i open up my domain hutchspropertyandtree.co.nr it doesnt show any of my recent seo tool updates.
im thinking that the cheap domainname from .co.nr is the problem? Is it possible that the default tags and titles and keywords entered into the co.nr website creation boxs are overwriting the newer ones in the html within my dropbox?
But still doesnt explain why a stat counter code and google analytics code in the footer and header respectively still do not show up when i view source in browser.
PLEASE PLEASE HELP.
It's because the page at hutchspropertyandtree.co.nr uses a frame to show the content from another location. The meta information comes from the page with the frame, not the page in the frame. You should be able to see the content of the frame using an inspector (comes with all browsers these days) or "View frame source", if your browser does that.
Note that any search engine hits to your pages will link to the dropbox URL, not the frame page (that has essentially no content from the viewpoint of a search engine). If you want search engine results to show up under that domain, you'll have to get hosting that lets you point a domain directly to it.
