Album art now showing on media app in Automotive OS - android-automotive

I am using UAMP on automotive OS but album art is not displayed correctly.
This issue on the github explains about the bitmaps using too much memory and using ContentProviders and local URIs. (https://github.com/android/uamp/issues/235)
Did anyone implement this already or has some samples on how that can be done?

The issue has been resolved by the UAMP team: https://github.com/android/uamp/pull/427

Store and browse static web content on a tablet (iOs and Android)

I wonder what the best solution is to store and browse static html pages with javascript, images and movie clips on both iPad and Android tablets?
The content is a product catalog and is rather large, about 2GB in size, and the idea is to be able to browse it offline.
According to this Android SE question, it should be possible on android with the built-in browser, however, according to this SO question it seems like it's not doable on iOs.
I've also seen suggestions on making an application of html content using PhoneGap, but I'm not familiar with it so I can't tell if it actually is an alternative.
How would you do it?
Update: The package size is about 3,5GB (not 2 as mentioned above)
Try the jquery API I hope there is a option to do operations like this

How to create an iPhone app that interacts with my website?

What I want to do is to make an iPhone application for my website similar to the photofunia. The users will be able to select an effect from a list, and then upload their own photo. Then the result will be shown in the browser where the user can save the image and/or publish to website like facebook, etc.
What software can I use to do that? Phonegap, appcelerator, etc? Can some of these help?
Thanks.
First of all, you may be able to make an iPhone app using Adobe Flash and the Adobe Packager for iPhone.
The other option is to get a Mac and Learn Objective-C.
There is no "easy" solution here.
Create a webservice for your website and try to use that in your iPhone Application
Of course I know there is no "easy" solution, but I'm almost sure there are other options for making iphone apps, instead of using Objective-C.
I only don't know the name of the tools.
Flash doesn't works. Adobe Air currently doesn't offer a way to access the camera roll on the ios.

Optical character recognition on the iPhone

Is it possible on an iPhone app to take a picture and extract an string from the picture? We'd like to make our app to look for a serial number on a database (very long number) without the user having to type it.
Is there any Cocoa/Objective-C API for this or any C/C++ library that can be used in an iPhone app?
Thanks in advance!
You can have a look at the tesseract-ocr project. It's not actually made to use on an iPhone but I believe others have made great use of it on the iPhone.
Here is a demo that makes use of the tesseract ocr engine.
I was looking for something similar and came across ABBYY's mobileOCR solution
I've not used it yet and have no idea how much it is but you should be able to integrate it into your app by all accounts.
I have this in my bookmarks: http://code.google.com/p/zxing/
It has iPhone, Android and Java code to deal with image capture and bar codes.
I haven't test it yet.
Here's another implementation of Tesseract on the iPhone: http://robertcarlsen.net/dev/pocket-ocr
Tesseract-OCR now has iOS version:Tesseract-OCR-iOS

iPhone : does apple provide an official iPhone image

Every marketing page for an app has one, does apple provide a sanctioned version png or jpeg? I know a google search will give me 12 million images of an iphone.
Yes, they do. https://developer.apple.com/iphone/appstore/marketing.html You'll have to login to be able to access these resources.
Not entirely sure what kind of image of an iPhone you're looking for, but Apple does have a gallery of images of the iPhone.

iphone flash lite 2.0 support?

1.i dont have iphone, so may i know does iphone come with pre-installed flash lite 2.0 or above? if answer is Not, if a web page that embed flash lite app. can it prompt user of iphone to install flash lite easily ?
2. where can i get list of phones that support flash lite 2.0 and above?
As Ben states, the iPhone doesn't support Flash of any variety.
Regarding (2), there is a list on the Adobe website which may be of use.
No, the iPhone does not support Flash (lite or otherwise). Apple has been very clear that they have no interest in adding this support. Can't help you with (2).
Unfortunately mobile Flash support is not high on Apple's priority for one reason or another. For a complete list of Flash enabled phones go here: http://www.adobe.com/mobile/supported_devices/operators.html
No and never forever.
Read this: http://www.apple.com/hotnews/thoughts-on-flash/
Apple's legitimate concern I believe is with the Flash plugin sucking down resources. Anyone who has used Flash on anything other than Windows (Read: MacOS and Linux) can affirm that the plugin is pretty horrific. It leaks memory and grinds on the CPU on both platforms, and it has for years now.
My understanding (it was reported about 2 months ago) is that in its frustration Adobe tried delivering an in-house built version of the Flash plugin. Unfortunately, its battery life was pretty awful. This was linked off Hacker News and is clearly anecdotal, but FWIW: tumblr.
However, I also believe the new builds of Flash allow you to compile apps for iPhone, which is probably a more reasonable route to go. As I recall you could embed an iTunes Store URL in your page and direct iPhone users to grab the app.
