Please can anyone help to solve the problem of the PostgreSQL query? It's expected to return the result in the image but it returns nothing:
Query:
SET foo.date_1 = '2021-01-04';
select interface_name, max(time_stamp) as date, message,api_request from central
where application = 'OMS to DW'
and time_stamp like ''''||'%' || current_setting('foo.date_1')||'%'||''''
and message not like 'succe%'
group by interface_name,message,api_request

Thank you all for trying to help. The problem now it's solved, the correct code should be:
SET foo.date_1 = '2021-01-04';
select interface_name, max(time_stamp) as date, message,api_request from central
where application = 'OMS to DW'
and time_stamp like '%' || current_setting('foo.date_1')||'%'
and message not like 'succe%'
group by interface_name,message,api_request

I get this output when trying to use toSQL() to debug my queries.
Laravel code:
$services = Service::latest()->where('status', '=', '0');
Output SQL:
"select * from `services` where `status` = ? order by `created_at` desc"
How can I get a proper query without ? mark? Thanks!
To view the data that will be substituted into the query string you can call the getBindings() function on the query like
below.
$query = User::first()->jobs();
dd($query->toSql(), $query->getBindings());
The array of bindings get substituted in the same order the ? appear in the SQL statement.

I would like to do a subselect in order to do the following postgresql query with the querybuilder:
SELECT i.* FROM internship i
WHERE EXISTS (SELECT iw.*
FROM internship_weeks iw
WHERE i.id = iw.internship)
Does anyone have an idea how to get the same result with queryBuilder? or maybe with DQL?
Thanks for the help !
As example, only for demonstrate HOW-TO use a subquery select statement inside a select statement, suppose we what to find all user that not yet have compile the address (no records exists in the address table):
// get an ExpressionBuilder instance, so that you
$expr = $this->_em->getExpressionBuilder();
// create a subquery
$sub = $this->_em->createQueryBuilder()
->select('iw')
->from(IntershipWeek::class, 'iw')
->where('i.id = iw.intership');
$qb = $this->_em->createQueryBuilder()
->select('i')
->from(Intership::class, 'u')
->where($expr->exists($sub->getDQL()));
return $qb->getQuery()->getResult();
Hope this help
Hi i want to add 01/01/1970 to a column ,datatype of last_hit_time_gmt is bigint ,when i run the below query i am getting data type
last_hit_gmmt
does not match a defined datatype name.
select
distinct STG.OMN_APND_KEY,
STG.last_hit_time_gmt,
IIF(STG.last_hit_time_gmt <>0,ADD_TO_DATE(TO_DATE('01/01/1970', 'DD/MM/YYYY'),'SS',cast(STG.last_hit_time_gmt as DATE ),NULL)
from EDW_STAGE_CDM_SRC.STG_OMNITUREDATA STG
WHERE
UPPER(STG_OMNITUREDATA.EVAR41) IN
('CONS_SUPP: CONSUMER','STORE','PURCHASE') and
STG.OMN_APND_KEY='61855975'
please help me..
The query and data type is incompatible with Teradata.
As stated in the comments you may want to use "CASE" instead of "IFF". The general format is
CASE WHEN *condition* THEN *result_if_true*
ELSE *result_if_false*
END as *ColumnName*
editing based on comment response
So in your query example the case statement can be used like...
select distinct STG.OMN_APND_KEY
,STG.last_hit_time_gmt
,CASE WHEN STG.last_hit_time_gmt = 0 THEN NULL
ELSE DATE '1970-01-01'
END AS YourColName
FROM EDW_STAGE_CDM_SRC.STG_OMNITUREDATA STG
WHERE UPPER(STG_OMNITUREDATA.EVAR41) IN
('CONS_SUPP: CONSUMER','STORE','PURCHASE') and
STG.OMN_APND_KEY='61855975'
Also, if you are merely just trying to update the field STG.last_hit_time_gmt, why not just use two simple UPDATE statements?
UPDATE EDW_STAGE_CDM_SRC.STG_OMNITUREDATA
SET STG.last_hit_time_gmt = DATE '1970-01-01'
WHERE STG.last_hit_time_gmt <> 0
AND UPPER(STG_OMNITUREDATA.EVAR41) IN
('CONS_SUPP: CONSUMER','STORE','PURCHASE')
AND STG.OMN_APND_KEY='61855975';
UPDATE EDW_STAGE_CDM_SRC.STG_OMNITUREDATA
SET STG.last_hit_time_gmt = NULL
WHERE STG.last_hit_time_gmt = 0
AND UPPER(STG_OMNITUREDATA.EVAR41) IN
('CONS_SUPP: CONSUMER','STORE','PURCHASE')
AND STG.OMN_APND_KEY='61855975';
I create view in the postgresql that for write query but error message display table name used more than once. How to solve this problem?
Query
SELECT
tbcitizen.firstname || '-' || tbcitizen.middlename || '-' || tbcitizen.familyname as firstname,
tbcitizen.dateofbirth,
tbcity.cityname,
tbcontact.contactdetails,
tbcitizen.citizenidp
FROM
public.tbcitizen,
public.tbaddress,
public.tbcity,
public.tbcontact
INNER JOIN
tbcontact ON tbcitizen.citizenidp = tbcontact.referenceidf AND tbcontact.referencetypeidf = 1 AND
tbcontact.isprimery = 1 INNER JOIN
tbaddress ON tbcitizen.citizenidf = tbaddress.referenceidf AND tbaddress.referencetypeidf = 1 AND
tbaddress.isprimery = 1 INNER JOIN
tbcity ON tbaddress.cityidf = tbcity.cityidp
WHERE
tbaddress.referencetypeidf = tbcitizen.citizenidp AND
tbaddress.referenceidf = tbcitizen.citizenidp AND
tbaddress.cityidf = tbcity.cityidp
Error = table name "tbcontact" specified more than once
Thanks
As the error states that - your table tbcontact used 2 times as the source table. So it creates ambiguity for the postgres database engine. So to resolve this issue you have to use table alias with different name.
Hope it'll help you.
[EDIT: This problem was a result of a bug within version 3.7.6]
The following postgresql query is returning an error:
operator does not exist date = boolean.
I can't figure out why. Here is the postgresql code that is giving me the error:
select
c.source,
s.name,
s.grouping,
s.kli,
s.term_desc,
(s.population - s.online) as non_hb_pop,
s.online as hb_pop,
s.population as full_pop,
s.rep_date
from
dwh.rpt_cu_private_kli_summary s, dwh.rpt_sgmt_clients c
where
s.partner_id::integer = $P{rpt_cu}
and s.rep_date = $P{rpt_date_beg}
and s.userid=c.userid
group by
c.source, s.term_desc, s.name, s.grouping,
s.population, s.online, s.kli, s.rep_date
order by
s.grouping,
full_pop desc,
s.term_desc;
What does the above error message mean?
What is the value for $P{rpt_date_beg} ? That's where things go wrong. Check the real query, might be in the errorlog, and do some debugging. Maybe some quotes ' are missing around the date value.
