Xcode 10 storyboard UI components are not visible and painfully slow?

Closed 2 years ago.
I'm updated Xcode to version 12.4 (12D4e), MacOS 10.15.7, open my project, and see it:
All elements lost labels, have black background (don't change from IB) and blue borders. If i add new element on viewController - i get same thing.
In Simulator and real iPhone all works fine, but in IB - that problem.
Clean build folder, restart Xcode and MacOS not working.
Does anyone know how to fix it? Thx
UPDATE, with solution this problem:
I'm rolled back last commit in project and problem disappeared. Maybe, that happens, because i'm used in last commit custom class with #IBDesignable properties and delete him later, before commit on Github and update Xcode. I found similar problem and answer, on this link https://stackoverflow.com/a/56121110/13110274
Now all works correctly
Have you tried to select and deselect bound rectangles from "Adjust Editor options" in your storyboard?
Also, it seems your storyboard overstuffed. I recommend you separate it into few views.

If you change the titlebarSeparatorStyle property of a NSSplitViewItem, the window does not update immediately. You have to set the focus to another app first for the window to update. However the window isn’t update correctly either. For example the shadow never really gets applied. It works if you set the property in the storyboard. But if you want to change it programatically, it does not work as expected.
I would expect something like the Finder in Big Sur: If you display the content of a Finder window as symbols, there is no shadow or line below the toolbar. If you switch to another view (like column view) a line is being added and the toolbar becomes transparent.
I have added an example project to demonstrate the issue.

Xcode: Any way to refresh/re-run the playground?

Closed 4 years ago.
I have several Swift playgrounds on my machine that aren't updating automatically. I can manually select "Run Playground" from the Editor menu, which runs what's in the playground at that time, but it never updates when I type new code. I've tried clearing the compilation cache in "$(getconf DARWIN_USER_CACHE_DIR)/org.llvm.clang.$(whoami)/ModuleCache", restarting Xcode, restarting the simulator service, even rebooting my Mac, and none of these fix the issue. What can I look at to make my playground update automatically?
In this case, the issue was that my playgrounds were not set to run automatically. There's a Play arrow down the bottom of the playground window that will be empty if automatic running is disabled. Click and hold the arrow to reveal a dropdown menu and select "Automatically Run".
As I have developed the iOS application using Xcode 7.3.
When reviewing the AutoLayout constraint on the device which having iOS 10 using Xcode 7.3 it properly display it but when using the Xcode 8 and then reviewing on the device then it does not show properly.
So my question if I am deploy the application on the AppStore using Xcode 7.3, so there is any chance that the AutoLayout constraint do not show properly in iOS 10.
Any help is much appreciated.
I am having the same issues in one of my iOS application as the constraint works in Xcode 7.x but not in Xcode 8, so I have found some work around for resolve it. Please find the below steps.
1) Open your storyboard in Xcode 8, then it popup regarding choose an initial device view, please select one of the option and then click on Choose Device. Please find the below GIF representation for same.
2) When you complete your changes, select the storyboard, go to File Inspector, on Interface Builder Document section, select the Opens In field and apply the Xcode 7.x. After that it popup regarding save so please select "Save and Close" option when it is prompted. Please find the below GIF representation for same.
3) Close the Xcode and then open the application.
Your storyboard changes will be saved, and your storyboard will function as it did on Xcode 7.x.
Hope it works for you!!!
The build given by Xcode 7.3 will not affect for constraint issue on iOS10.

Possible Duplicate:
Remove autolayout (constraints) in Interface Builder
While the answer and final question are the same, the rest of the questions are completely different and the questions that appeared when I searched were unrelated to either question.
In my app, I am trying to set the autoLayout to setup my view properly for iPhone 4 screen size versus the iPhone 5 screensize. With the kind of layout I am dealing with, I really don't need the power provided by the new constraints system and it would be much easier to use the old system. I know this is possible because the older xib files in my project use the old system.
My question is: How do I use the old system in new xib files?
Open your xib file in Xcode, open the right-side pane, select the 1st tab in it, and unselect the "Use auto layout" checkbox.

Can't remove Default.png?
I am using Xcode 4, but I am sure the issue does not pertain to this specific IDE.
I have set a "Default.png" using the organizer, but I would like to remove it.
At the time I had already created an image in my project which was no longer being used, instead replaced by the image set in the organizer. I have removed that file, and any "default.png" files from my application (*.app) folders, but the image remains.
How can I get rid of this image?
Do a "clean" of your project.
