Cofoundry CMS send email to new users - email

I am facing an issue with the Cofoundry .NET core CMS.
Basically, I have installed is successfully and able to login via admin panel.
Now issue is, when I am adding more users in the CMS, it does not send emails to newly added user. However, in the admin panel users added successfully.
Please note: I have configured SendGrid plugin and that is working ok, tried by sending custom email.
Not sure, if further settings are required to get the emails working for new users add.
Please let me know If anyone faced the same issue earlier.
Regards,
Vivek Kumar

Firstly you need to ensure Cofoundry is configured to send the mail. The setting you want is Cofoundry:Mail:SendMode, the default value is LocalDrop to prevent you accidently sending debug emails to people, so by default the email will end up in your App_Data directory. You should set this to Send. So your config would look like this:
{
"Cofoundry": {
"Mail": {
"SendMode": "Send",
"DefaultFromAddress": "auto#example.com"
},
},
}
Mail config settings are covered in the config settings docs
If this is not set up then your email will be placed in the mail drop directory, which defaults to "~/App_Data/Emails", so check there to see if the mail behaving in debug mode.
If there was an error sending the mail, then you would see an error prompt in the admin panel, so perhaps next you should check your SendGrid logs to see if the email is being passed through their service - perhaps it is being blocked or sent to spam?

Gmail loses the html formatting of emails sent with Odoo

My company migrated their CRM starting to use Odoo, and then I proceeded to configure the external mail server (gmail), the #catchall parameter, and then define the odoo mail templates.
So far I have no problems, and everything works as I expect, so the mails are correctly and received.
However, I have a problem with viewing the emails ... let me explain.
Sent an email through Odoo, I see it correctly in html format, so by accessing the gmail email account via browser and opening the message, also in this case it is correctly formatted and displayed as html.
However, the recipient of the e-mail upon receipt loses the html formatting and therefore receives the e-mail displaying it in plain-text.
On the gmail settings I have already configured to send messages in html, I tried to disable it and then re-enable it but nothing happens.
Do you have any suggestions or advice?
I also have the same problem. We have tried several configurations both in the Google account and in the server. It only happens with GMail mail. Using any other service does not happen.
There's an answer here that I still can't implement, but it could be of help.
GMail displays plain text email instead HTML
A known reason for the issue was the appending of a footer in Google. Odoo has recently released a fix for all versions from 14.0 onwards: https://github.com/odoo/odoo/pull/108499. However, if they encounter other cases, Odoo Enterprise customers can open a support ticket and users of the Community edition can submit a Github issue.

Jira email notifications not working, but test e-mail is working

We have an on-premise hosted Jira 6.0.8. We have set up an outgoing mail server using a Gmail account and used the send test e-mail feature to successfully send an e-mail out.
Our problem is with e-mail notifications. We are not getting any at all. We have gone through troubleshooting docs https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/troubleshoot-notifications-in-jira-203394737.html here but have not been able to find the solution.
Here is what we have already tried;
Ensured user profile 'My Changes setting' was set to 'Notify Me'
Ensured Notification scheme was correct and associated with the project
Ensured Project Notification email was set to the same as the outgoing mail server Gmail address
Checked the 'Mail Queue' after making a comment on an issue and saw waiting messages in it for the correct issue. These then disappeared from the queue without error within 60 seconds, indicating that they had been sent.
Enabled DEBUG logging under 'Logging and Profiling' for the outgoing mail server and com.atlassian.jira.service and com.atlassian.jira.service.services.DebugService. We reviewed the log file and saw nothing that indicated error but did see the log of the MailqueueService sending the e-mail.
have used the 'Notifcation Helper' tool and it verified that the user would receive the appropriate notification indicating notifcation scheme and permission are set up ok.
Still the notification e-mail is not received.
There was a point made in the troubleshooting link above
Check that your Base URL is set to a domain / IP which your SMTP server will accept. Example: Google apps accounts must have a matching base url to their Google Apps domain.
However, our Adminsistration> System>General Configuration>Base Url for Jira is something like http://myservername:8880 since it is internal self-hosted. This did not cause a problem with the test mail. Could this be an issue for the notification e-mails?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

when sending a verify email request from keycloak via sendgrid, the resulting url is wrongly encoded

I have a keycloak (4.4.0-Final) installation.
Scenario:
sendgrid is configured as mail agent (and test mail sending is ok)
I create a new user in keycloak admin console and I pass it the action "verify email"
I get an email with a link to verify my email address, but when I click the link, I get the error "We're sorry...
An error occurred, please login again through your application."
I now have a closer look at the URL and I see 2 times = => http://keycloakurl/.....login-actions/action-token?key=eyJhbGciOiJIUzUx...&client_id=client-...
When I change = to = , the url works.
Does someone know if this is a bug in sendgrid, or a bug in the keycloak templates?
I know you have moved ahead with Mailjet but I would like to share my solution here as it may help others. I noticed this issue only happens if Email Tracking is enabled at SendGrid side. Try after disabling all tracking configurations under Setting -> Tracking screen.
The issue was not keycloak, but sendgrid (ref: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/KEYCLOAK-8536). We fixed the issue by dropping sendgrid and going to mailjet.

Not receiving admin order confirmation email from the website Prestashop 1.6.1.1

I am not getting admin order confirmation email after the successful payment. I am getting payment notification from sisow but not from website. Customer is receiving confirmation email but not admin. I am new in prestashop and didn't find any solution.
Please suggest me to make it working.
To receive emails as admin you need to enable one module named "Email Alerts". Enable this module and configure this module. You will see all the setting here. Go through that and set it up accordingly. You can add multiple email ids to receive notifications.
Hope this helps you !!! :)
Also, make sure that you have properly configured in settings like:
Advance Preferences -> E-mail
It's highly recommended to use SMTP instead of mail() function.
Install the module "Mail alerts" to your prestashop project.
It solved my problem for the version 1.6.1.5
i think i got the trick : copy all emails in modules/mailalerts/lang.
should have the same in EN and YOUR LANG.
Also copy in /themes/same_path

Want to set up a system of sending email to users on my magento store who have forgot a password

I have set up a magento store of my own for my business of grocery products.
I have almost configured each and everything.
I have a mail server and can have as many email addresses as I require.
I have a theme set up for the store.
While a user tries to log in and has forgot a password, there is a link to click saying "Forgot Password".
On clicking it, it displays "An email has been sent to your account with new password details."
I know this will not send an email as I have to configure entire system.
I do not want to send a new password by email. Instead I want to send a link. On clicking this link, the user can go the it and have an option of password reset.
Please help me with this. It will be much much appreciated.
Magento's standard "Forgot Password" functionality works exactly as you've described - it sends a link to the user to reset his or her password - it doesn't just send a new password.
Magento uses Zend_Mail to send emails. By default, Zend_Mail will use PHP's mail() function (via Zend_Mail_Transport_Sendmail), which will usually send emails via sendmail or similar, depending on the PHP configuration.
If you have your own mail server that you'd prefer to use, you can configure Magento to use SMTP. This does require some code, but, luckily, there are some good extensions out there that already do this, like aschroder/Magento-SMTP-Pro-Email-Extension.
