Difference between page_view and session_start in Google Analytics 4 - google-analytics-4

I'm really confused by the event defined by Google Analytics 4 (GA4). As the title mentioned, does anyone can explain what's the difference between page_view and session_start.
The point is I got much more counts of session_start event (180) than that of page_view (18) for a particular page on the desktop but more page_view than session_start on mobile.

Pageviews are the number of times other people view a fixed page, and sessions are how many subpages people viewed. I think so.

GA landing pages (not set), but URI is known AND organic traffic down, direct/none up?

I need help troubleshooting 2 main issues with our Google Analytics data. Both started occurring around May 5, 2020. I've worked through troubleshooting recommendations in few blog posts but have had no luck. Can anyone point me in the right direction for how to troubleshoot these issues?
Organic traffic has dropped considerably on our /blog/ pages while direct/none traffic has increased. When I check Google Search Console's organic search data, I see numbers that reflect the organic + direct/none traffic in google analytics.
When I look at the landing page report, there is a huge increase in (not set) landing pages on our blog. I saw 14,000% and 26,000% increases... Our overall landing page traffic is down by 15%. Weirdly, the URI is known, but the landing page is (not set)...?
Please check out this video to see the data in GA - http://m.bixel1.net/jxe9ei
One potential cause is that we have a homepage redirect for anyone using chrome. The redirect goes from / to /c/ for anyone on chrome and is hard coded. We've been testing this since the beginning of the year and we switched the test to serve to 100% of chrome visitors on March 26, 2020. Could this possibly be causing our traffic issues?
The redirect certainly creates anomalies (consider that when landing on the page both / and /c/ are tracked).
I noticed, for example by accessing a blog page from google, that the pageview has no referrer while the events sent after 30 seconds have it (and it is google.com).
Check your configuration in Google Tag Manager if there is any strange setting on the referral or something configured that can interfere with the referrer.
In any case, this (referrer) is surely the reason why you have the (not set).

Can you extract Facebook data by date range using Facepager?

I've been using Facepager for research purposes for almost a year now and I can't figure out how to extract data - public posts, comments and likes from a page, for instance - by date range. While other programs such as Netvizz gives me this option, Facepager seems to fail to do so.
Thank you.
You can use the since and until parameters for this, e.g. set since (left side in parameter settings) to 2017-09-13 (right side) when fetching posts of a page. See the section Time Based Navigation in the Facebook Graph API.
Keep in mind that accessing very old data with the API is limited by Faceebok. Most social media platforms are aligned to the presence :)
BTW: we just opened a Group on Facebook for getting help.

Get old Facebook posts from public FB page

For a university research project I need to view some old posts on public Facebook pages from a specific date range (January 22-31 2014.) I was planning just to copy and paste each post but I have run into a problem with some of the pages that generate a very high volume of posts. Facebook will not display past a certain date. Even with scrolling down, at a certain point the posts stop displaying (this is true by month, so it jumps from January 25 directly to December 31 for example).
Here are the pages I am interested in:
https://www.facebook.com/Syrian.Revolution
https://www.facebook.com/Syrian.Truth
I have read about Facebook's Graph API but have had some trouble using it (I don't have a developer's background.) Also the posts are mostly in Arabic so that may be a problem.
I just need the pages' posts, not the comments sections.
Thanks anyone so much for your help, it is very appreciated.
Really depends on what language/environment you're using. As a simplest case, you can just use Graph API Explorer (https://developers.facebook.com/tools/explorer) and make a call:
{{page_id}}/posts
There are a lot of ways you can improve this call for your benefit. For example, you can use a limit parameter to increase the default number of results it retruns.
{{page_id}}/posts?limit=200
By default, this returns a lot of fields, you can limit the fields.
{{page_id}}/posts?limit=200&fields=id,message,created_time
You can visit https://developers.facebook.com/docs/graph-api/reference/page/feed/ to find out which fields are supported.
In order to get results during a certain time-range, you can use the created_time field to determine if a post belongs to a certain time interval.

How to reset Facebook like count to 0

We have a campaign that we run yearly. We built new pages using last year's page as a template. The pages are at the same URL's as last year but with different content and different metadata.
We thought the client would be happy that they had great social numbers but they actually want the numbers to start from 0. I've found plenty of information about clearing the cache with Facebook and we've done that already in multiple fashion, and plenty of posts asking why their like count is at zero, but nothing about how we can reset to 0.
Any ideas on how we can achieve this?
Change the URLs of the content and the new URLs will have 0 likes

Maximum Total Google Ads Per Page

I'm looking at my options for putting adverts on my website and thought I'd start with Google Adsense - However I'm unsure of exactly how many adverts you can actually have per page. I'm guessing it's OK to mix and match banners with say advert blocks, etc, etc - So what is the maximum total number you can have on a single page?
Google Adsense Ads Per Page Limit has been lifted according to recent policy change. Google makes the publishers happy with this recent change. Now publishers can place more than 3 ads, which will eventually result into more income.
According to the Ad Placement policies, a maximum of three standard ad units, three link units, and two search boxes may be placed on one webpage
Please keep in mind that a maximum of three standard ad units, three
link units, and two search boxes may be placed on one webpage. In
addition, please be aware that every publisher is responsible for the
content of a website on which their ad code is placed. If a website is
found in violation of our program policies, we will notify any
publisher(s) whose ad code is on the website, and ask you to remove
the Google code from that page.
They further clarify in this question
Currently, AdSense publishers may place up to three AdSense for
content units on one webpage. This includes a maximum of one 300x600
ad unit per page. You may also place a maximum of three link units and
two search boxes on each webpage.
Google removed the limit of three ads per page in August 2016.

I think Google has lifted the maximum of 3 content units per page.
Now they just say that ads should not be more than content. And you won't find the max units rule anywhere in the documentation.
You can read here in valuable inventory.
https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/1346295?hl=en#Ad_limit_per_page
Google has lifted the limit of 3 ads recently. They don't specify the max limit, but they do say that the number should not exceed your content. Here is the official link: Number of AdSense Ads
Three standard ad units mean that you can use 3 main standard and suggested by google: 1 728x90, 1 336x280 or 1 300x250 and 1 160x600.
Three link units mean that you can get it by create link units in your adsense dashboard.
Search box you know adready.
According to Adsense Tos,
You can add upto 3 standard ads /per page (Maximum of 1 300*600 ads size followed by other ads size accept 970x90 ) in addition with 3 link ads unit for adsense Content . These are the Maximum AdSence Ads Per Page for Adsense content.
You can have 3 standard size ads on your page. And I don't recommend you to add any more (not even link ads). In place of that why not adding infolinks, viglink and others?
