I'm running Solr 8.9.0 and Java 14.0.1 on Linux, and I'm trying to integrate Solr and MongoDB 5.0 Community Edition. I have MongoDB running and loaded with data, and I've installed the mongo-connector.
I'm really struggling with what to do next. All of the documentation that I've found (see a few examples below) is several years old, inconsistent, incomplete and simply doesn't work.
Can anyone please share some documentation / advice on how to integrate Solr and MongoDB?
Thank you.

I am new to Zendlaminas and MongoDB.I know PHP. I want to connect the laminas with MongoDB. I do no from which file i need to start to config. For the whole day i am stuck here. Can anyone guide here.
I have installed Zend Laminas
Using a Apache2 server
Installed MongoDB as well
OS : Ubuntu
Well, there's this. I think there's a php-mongodb package for Ubuntu that will install PHP's MongoDb extension.
It might be overkill for your needs, but I suggest using Doctrine ORM with MongoDB. There's a bit of a learning curve (ORMs in general are complex) but I find it a nice clean way to develop once it's set up.
It is found that Database References can be achieved on MongoDB Java driver version 4.0 Here is the link below
https://docs.mongodb.com/manual/reference/database-references/
But I couldn't find a relevant tutorial or guide which achieves the same for version 4.0. I am a newbie to the Mongo world. Can anyone figure out what am I missing here?
I'm interested in building a small server using the Odroid U3 which has 1.7GHz Quad-Core chip. I did install MongoDB 2.1.1 on a Raspberry but found the performance far too low for any serious usage other than tinkering. I was wondering there is a MongoDB package/instruction/tutorial somewhere to install newer versions of MongoDB. Any suggestion/help would be appreciated
You may use mongodb-linux-armv7l-2.4.1.tgz that I've uploaded, taken from a JIRA comment. An experimental but working build. Not production ready.
There is a really up to date version of MongoDB for Arm chips on ArchLinux. Its currently 2.6.1+ and no need for compiling. Is also production ready - albeit with the limitations MongoDB 32bit has.
As of version 3.4 MongoDb officially supports ARM 64.
One thing to note though: Currently (v3.4.0) Only the Wired Tiger storage engine is currently supported.
The current version can be downloaded here: https://fastdl.mongodb.org/linux/mongodb-linux-arm64-ubuntu1604-3.4.0.tgz
You may watch this thread on Github of DietPi for update.
For now I have tested prebuild MongoDB 3.0.14 Binaries for Odroid XU4 Running DietPi_OdroidXU4-ARMv7-Jessie and it is working fine. Pl check bellow screenshot.
MongoDB 3.0.14 Running on Odroid XU4 on DietPi V6.10 (Debian Jessie):
I am exploring mongodb , I have written a code to connect mongodb and mysql using kundera
It works fine. But I am having a requirement to connect Informix database and mongodb please let me know how to do that. Thanks in advance
I'm no expert in MongoDB or NoSQL. But latest Informix fixpack (12.10.xC2) supports native MongoDB connectivity and JSON/BSON.
Not all the features/commands of MongoDB are available (it's not meant to "replace" MongoDB), but it's probably the easiest way to interact with it from a "MongoDB app".
The main problem with this approach would probably be that your current Informix environment isn't running 12.10.xC2 (just released on September 13).
Please check it on the official Infocenter on IBM site. You can download the new version if you're a customer with active support. Otherwise you can get it from IBM website (either the developer edition or the free - as in beer - version called Innovator-C)

I want to use nutch and solr integrated in eclipse and my os is windows. I want to use binary files and dependencies with maven then develop code in eclipse. Is there any clear tutorial for doing this?
I have tried RunNutchInEclipse guide but it is so nasty! Any useful links or advices are welcome.
Thnx.
You have to follow RunNutchInEclipse guide. There are no other guides as far as I know. Even I tried initially to run on windows and I gave up later and started using on Ubuntu/Mac. There will be many issues which you will see even if you follow the guide. There is some problem with hadoop on windows. The hadoop version which comes with Nutch 1.3+ does not work on windows. So we need to change hadoop version to some older version. Or we should use Nutch 1.2. I remember seeing a tutorial in youtube. See if that helps. But that said it is definitely easier to use Nutch on Unix flavors.
