I was inputting data into postgresql table using python sqlalchemy function.
Currently, about 27 billion data have been entered, but the following error has occurred since then.
sqlalchemy.exc.OperationalError: (psycopg2.errors.ProgramLimitExceeded) cannot extend file "base/16427/1340370" beyond 4294967295 blocks
Can you tell me how to fix the error and why?

I face an annoying problem on a Postgres 11.13 database when trying to get data from a big table.
The first 6 millions rows can be fetched, then I get a "MultiXactId **** has not been created yet -- apparent wraparound" message.
I've already tested, on this table :
various "select ..." queries (even in functions with exception management to ignore possible errors)
pg_dump
REINDEX TABLE
VACUUM FULL, with and without the zero_damaged_pages enabled
VACUUM FREEZE, with and without the zero_damaged_pages enabled
Nothing to do: I get every time that "MultiXactId **** has not been created yet -- apparent wraparound" error.
Is there a solution to fix that kind of problem, or is that "broken/corrupted" table definitively lost ?

As long as such message is thrown by postgres and its just a message when exceeds 64 bytes. Is there any way to not see such communicate in the output window for postgres notification as follows:
identifier "xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" will be truncated to "xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"

I have a Pentaho mapping in which I am loading the data from a flat file to postgres table. Its a simple one to one mapping.
I am trying to incorporate error handling in that mapping.
Without error handling, the data loads pretty fast (speed around 3000 rps) but if error handling is added then it loads the data very slow with speed 1 rps.
Anyone faced this similar problem? Does postgres driver in PDI does not support error handling?

I am converting a view into a talend job. The query is running fine in postgresql and Talend sql builder but when I am running jobs, its generating error messages. Column not found etc.

Could I ask which Talend version you are using? Also, which components have you included in your job? I understand you have a column not found error message and it would be interesting to know which message exactly you are getting on your end so we can determine where the error is coming from.
A reason why you could be getting the "column not found" error is because your table names and columns names are in mixed case. Therefore if it's the case names have to be set in quotes, otherwise the database sets it to uppercase and will throw error table/column not found.
I have a simple job that reads .csv file, converts data from this file through tMap, and writes data from file into DB.
If an error in .csv file is found, line containing error will be escaped and all other data will be written into DB.
If die on error is checked, writing into DB will abort when line with error has been reached.
What should I do if I want that either ALL data is written into DB if there's no error, or NONE of data is written if there's at least one error?

As #Ryan mentioned, the usual standard is to use a transaction. If this isn't possible for some reason (I thought I'd heard/seen something about a row-lock limit per-transaction), consider dumping the results into a temporary copy of your actual table. If no errors occur, add it to the production table. If errors occur, pop an error message and drop the (temporary) table.
You should use a transaction. That way you can roll it back if there is an error.
Exactly how you go about implementing a transaction depends on the database you're using. Which is it?
