How to make files on my server accessable on website? I have videos on my server that I want to access from website. It would be ideal if I could also make them in directory structure that I have on server, I mean to make them appear in exact directory structure that I have on server, for example I have video in /export/home/vacation/2019/01_xyz.mp4 and I want it video to be displayed in "vacation" folder in website.
OS: OpenSUSE based - Rockstor
Web server on: Nginx, but I can use other as well.
You need to use the alias directive for location /vacation
server {
index index.html;
server_name test.example.com;
root /web/test.example.com/www;
location /vacation/ {
alias /export/home/vacation/;
}
}

I have recently made a page on itch.io, I am wondering how I would be able to prevent people from copying the files and sending it instead of paying the $20. In other words, I want to make sure that the person who tries to run the launcher / installer has purchased the game from itch.io
What you can do is the same as mojang, create yourgameaccount#gmail.com and yourgameusertag. That way you can prevent maybe. Try to do like minecraft where you require registered account to play the game.

I am new into the world of perl and right now I am trying to scrape a webpage. I have done some scraping before and used WWW::Mechanize. The pages that I scraped before were somehow simple, so I took the page source and then extracted the data I needed from there. But now I have a different website that seems to contain frames. http://www.usgbc-illinois.org/membership/directory/
I am not asking for any code, but some ideas or modules I could use to extract data from the website above.
Thank1s
You may find some useful information on this website Web Scraping and also you can take look at this module Web Scraper Module

i am new in gwt.i am confused in argument list in hosted mode like -noserver,-logLevel,-out,-style.Thanks in advance.
These options serve as the configuration while debugging or running the GWT application.
For example, to run a GWT application, you need to define the web server, port for the web server, Logging related information, war folder for deployment of the application etc.

I have an app whose content should not be publicly indexed. I've therefore disallowed access to all crawlers.
robots.txt:
# Robots shouldn't index a private app.
User-agent: *
Disallow: /
However, Bing has been ignoring this and daily requests a /trafficbasedsspsitemap.xml file, which I have no need to create.
I also have no need to receive daily 404 error notifications for this file. I'd like to just make the bingbot go away, so what do I need to do to forbid it from making requests?
According to this answer, this is Bingbot checking for an XML sitemap generated by the Bing Sitemap Plugin for IIS and Apache. It apparently cannot be blocked by robots.txt.
For those coming from google-
You could block bots via apache user agent detection/ rewrite directives, that would allow you to keep bingbot out entirely.
https://superuser.com/questions/330671/wildcard-blocking-of-bots-in-apache
Block all bots/crawlers/spiders for a special directory with htaccess
etc.
