Chrome DevTools : Html element hover not working - google-chrome-devtools

I have this problem for some time, my chrome devtools have a strange behaviour. The hover and highlighting elements don't work for some obscure reason.
Please see the gif below, when I unfold a particular element, it will break the devtool.
I don't really understand where this is coming from. I compared the settings with a friend, we have the same...
Thank you in advance for the answers :)

I´ve been crazy with this and finally found a solution:
Just doing Zoom in on the Elements Tab (Ctrl + mouse scroll wheel) and it will start working again :'-)

Can you turn off scrolling in Chrome devtools DOM tree list

I don't know if this is new in the latest version or if I've only just noticed it, but the scrolling of the list of DOM tree elements at the bottom of the Elements panel is driving me up the wall.
This feels utterly ridiculous to bring up but I can't even search effectively because I don't know what that part of the panel is officially called - and none of the preferences or experiments seem to relate to it.
So does anybody know how to turn this off?

Im facing a problem with google chrome devtools....
I used to hover on a variables and it would pop up a tooltip telling me the value and other info, also on a function it would pop a link to click and it will take me to the definition location of that function, but all that is gone now and not working anymore...
Now i just see my cursor blinking when i hover over the variables... and im coding using VS Code i dont know if that might also be a problem, but i think i got this problem from a recent chrome update.

Eclipse shows only te function selected in outline

Maybe I've broke some stuff in settings or something like this but Eclipse starts to show in editor ONLY the function/method that chosen in outline pane. No other code showing in editor. Unchecking "Link with editor" was not helpful. Once thing is helping is reopening of file. But once clicking something in Outline pane all code except chosen function disappearing again so Outline becomes quite useless pane.
Does somebody knows where I could turn off such behavior to make it acting as it was - just jumping to selected function but not hide other code.
Thanks in advance! And sorry for my english.
Sorry everybody for posting so silly question. However, maybe it would be helpful for somebody to know - just found why Eclipse was acting like I've described.
Settings->Javascript->Editor->Only show the selected element. Uncheck this.
Don't even know why it needs such strange settings option...
Thanks again!

Using chrome for web development - how to dock the inspector?

I know Firebug is the standard, but I find myself using Chrome a lot (screen space, speed, etc.) Anyway, I think their inspector is pretty good, too. Certainly good enough that I don't want to fire up FF and navigate thru a site every time that I want to take a peak at the DOM.
However, probably the most annoying part is that I can't dock the Chrome inspector to the bottom of Chrome. I see that there's a dock button, but it doesn't seem to do anything.
Any tips? suggestions? Is it supposed to do something else? Thanks.
There is now a button on chrome that allows you to dock the element inspector to the main browser window, just like firebug. It is located in the bottom left of the window and looks like a little rectangle with a smaller offset rectangle in it.
Seems to be something they're working on as we speak. So for now, I guess you'll just have to change the window size, to place the inspector underneath it, or whatever your preference is (except docking, of course)...
Ah .. found my answer here. Seems like it is dockable in Safari and not in Chrome, both based on webkit.
Seems like the proposed to solution is to remove the docking button! That's unfortunate. I won't use it if I have to constantly tab back and forth.
