edit: I'm fairly certain my MONGODB_CONNECTION_STRING and MONGODB_DATABASE are set properly, anyone know what else could be causing these errors?

I have a Spring Cloud Gateway (eureka client) app that uses Spring Cloud Load Balancer (Spring Cloud version: Hoxton.SR6) and I have an instance of a spring boot app (spring boot 2.3 with enabled graceful shutdown, (eureka client).
When I shutdown a spring boot service and perform a request through the gateway then the gateway throws 500 error (connection refused), instead of 503. 503 appears after a 1-2 minutes.
Can anyone clarify if it is an expected behavior?
It seems that the problem comes from eureka-client (1.9.21 version in my case)
AtomicReference<Applications> localRegionApps isn't frequently updated

I decided to check deeper this 500 error. The result is that my system (ubuntu) gives this error if the port is not used:

Turns out it was Google Guava that was causing this issue - I simply removed the dependency from my build.gradle file, did gradle clean build and then redeployed!

I added debugging statements to spec.js to try to identify what element it can't find. It appears to find the two input fields and the button fine but does not find the output field.

Am I doing something wrong?
Now there are few possible things happening here
The element that is returned by element(by.binding('latest')) is not the correct one
There are multiple elements matching element(by.binding('latest')) and the first one is being returned to you
The element being returned to you is not visible on the screen. Chromedriver is very specific when it comes to taking actions on element which are visible to the user. If the element is not visible to user a automation shouldn't be able to simulate action on it (not 100% true, because some actions can still be taken).
So make sure you are getting the right element and there are no multiple matches
I've been following Manning's Grails In Action, but their section on configuring data sources is woefully out-of-date for Grails 3.0.3.
My intention is to convert from the default data source of H2 to MongoDB version 3.0.2. Google searches have yielded conflicting results -- many answers are often for earlier versions of Grails, which used 'BuildConfig.groovy' and 'DataSources.groovy' in order to establish plug-ins and data sources.
I've downloaded the 3.0.2 JDBC for MongoDB and stored it in various folders (i.e. the root of the application, a created /lib/ folder, and in /grails-app/conf/) without success.

Yeah, it's a challenge finding up-to-date documentation for configuring Grails 3.0 to use MongoDB. The solution below was cobbled together from various sources.

I've been successfully using this approach since Grails 3.0.1, and it's still working with 3.0.4.
Dem Pilafian is great and correct. Mine is just slightly different. You can leave out the mapping in your classes and rely on mongodb to directly store your objects. All you need to do is remove hibernate from your project.

In the application.yml you need to remove the hibernate: section and the driverClassName: org.h2.Driver.

This way, you will bypass hibernate completely and don't need to define a mapping in your classes. Your objects will be directly stored as structured documents in mongo.
