My system is xp pro sp3 (old)
this error rised when I tried to submit an assignment :
Submission failed: unexpected error: support for url transfers was disabled when Octave was built.
How can I enable this support for url transfer now?
ok, this is just a guess since you provided very little information about your system. Are you the administrator of the system running Octave? Or are you running on octave-online.net, or a user account on a laboratory computer, or similar?
The version of Octave you're using was likely built with the --without-curl switch enabled. I do not believe the functionality is present to just 'turn it back on'.
You would need to recompile Octave with URL transfers enabled. Or reinstall from a binary implementation with URL transfers enabled. Or switch to a different system where you have the system rights to do so.
How to I enable Failed Request Tracing in IIS 10.0 on my Windows 10 dev pc?
I can find instructions for IIS7 and IIS8.5 (see http://www.iis.net/learn/troubleshoot/using-failed-request-tracing/troubleshooting-failed-requests-using-tracing-in-iis-85) but doesn't seem to be available in IIS10.
According to above instructions there should be a link to "Failed Request Tracing" under "Configure" in the Actions pane - but see in screen shot it is clearly not there:
screen shot of IIS Actions pane
The instructions should work exactly the same since the UI has not changed. Make sure that you install Failed Request Tracing, for that run
OptionalFeatures.exe and make sure that Tracing is enabled in the Internet Information Services->World Wide Web Services->Health and Diagnostics.
You can also add this feature by going to Start -> Turn Windows features on or off -> Internet Information Services -> Health and Diagnostics.
You can enable the tracing feature using this PowerShell command (Running as Administrator)
Install-WindowsFeature Web-Http-Tracing
Today I tried to update the settings for my Windows Store apps within the "Microsoft account Developer Center". I have two major issues:
Existing apps within the "Microsoft account Developer Center" cannot be deleted
When I tried to delete an app (that was not present anymore within the Windows Dev Center) I got the following error message:
When I tried to add a domain for a new managed Azure Mobile Service, I got the following error message
I am sure that it is not possible for two parties to create two WAMS services with the same name. I am looking for an explanation on how to fix this problems.
To answer the question in reverse order:
The error "The domain you specified..." indicates that another application has already used the domain you are trying to specify, or the domain is reserved. To get an exception you need to follow the instructions in the link;
Re Deleting your application. In order to delete an application that is also a Windows Store application you must delete it from the Windows Store portal. i.e. https://appdev.microsoft.com/StorePortals/en-US/Account/signup/start
I have taken over a CTI project for the Avaya IP Office PBX and am trying to resolve a customer issue for a new installation on site which I also have on my test system in the office. Our CTI application uses the Avaya TAPI driver to communicate with the PBX, I have configured the TAPI driver with the IP address of the PBX, enabled third party mode (I need to see data from all extensions), enabled ACD queues and entered the correct password. I've also turned on debug tracing in the driver. I am using Astice TAPI monitor to check that everything is okay before turning on our application but here is where the problem lies: In Windows only the first extension configured on the switch is displaying in Windows, everything works correctly for this extension and I see call details fine but it does not display any other extensions and this is the exact problem that I have on the customer site.
On my test system, IP Office itself seems to be configured correctly (AFAIK there is not much config to do on the PBX anyway) and the CTI Link Pro license is enabled and displayed as valid and set to never expire.
Does anybody have any idea at all why only the first extension should be displayed?
EDIT: I've since found that this issue only occurs on Windows 7, on Windows XP it is fine. This means that it is highly unlikely that the problem is due to any settings on the PBX.
In the (unlikely) case that anybody else has had this issue it was actually due to the Avaya TAPI driver not supporting Windows 7. I procured a newer driver from Avaya which resolved the issue. These drivers are not generally available so you will need a support or partnership contract with Avaya. Presumably if you are looking at a similar issue then that won't be a problem.
In my case I was trying use password "Administrator" for third-party, and there was one extension in "phone.exe" named "Line unnamed", problem was in password: default is "password".
