Once you do the process. Does it revert back to the previous version?

My app is on Prepare for Submission, and I want to delete this app.
Already removed all countries from Territory Availibity.

If you check the Status History of your app, it will say for the latest version: Developer Removed From Sale*
With the footnote pointing out:
*This status indicates that the app has been removed from sale in all App Stores worldwide. To resume selling this app, go to the Rights and Pricing page and select at least one App Store where it will be sold.
Go to the app overview, and select Rights and Pricing:
Then click the Select all button or make a more specific selection in the matrix below.
i have uploaded new binary as a new version of my application and at the time of uploading binary, i select the option that "I Will Release this version" means i just put it in "Hold for Developer Release".
Suppose my application is approved by apple and i dont want to release that version then what i have to do.is it possible to reject that binary or remove that version from iTunes connect?

NOTE: You can only use the Version Release Control on app updates. It is not available for the first version of your app since you already have the ability to control when your first version goes live, using the Availability Date setting within Rights and Pricing. If you decide that you do not want to ever release a Pending Developer Release version, you can reject your binary to submit a new one.
You are not permitted to skip over an entire version
From this, we can remove that option from our application at any version upload. but can we reject after application is approved by apple?
Yes you can reject it!
Click on your "New version" > "Binary Details" > "Reject Binary"
To reject a approved release, select the approved release in iTunesConnect and at the top of the profile is a link "Cancel this release"
Paras, once you submit a new binary, it goes to the end of the queue for review!
I see a few possible cases related with your question:
You have no app yet, you submitted an app and waiting for review. Assume that you found a problem with the submitted app, and you wanted to provide a new one. Just submit the new binary, but remember, it will replace the original submission, it will go to the end of the queue and it will wait for review as before.
You have an app on the AppStore, and you wanted to provide an update for the app. As usual, submit your app, and wait to be notified. Once it is approved, your new app will be available to your users.
You have an app on the AppStore, you want to remove it from sales immediately, and provide an update: In this case, you can go to Manage Your Apps in your iTunes Connect, select the app and click on Rights and Pricing then choose an Availability Date in the future.
You get a warning message as following:
"You have selected an Available Date in the future. This will remove your currently live version from the App Store until the new date. Changing Available Date affects all versions of the application, both Ready For Sale and In Review."
That is fine, your app still in the store but not be in the sales. Now you provide your update and wait for the approval, once you get it, go ahead and set your app's availability date accordingly!

You can remove your app from the AppStore any time you want.
For that, simply go to itunesconnect.apple.com and on the "Manage your Application", choose the "Rights & Pricing" button then click on the "specific stores" link.
From there you can select in which stores your app will be in sale. You can then deselect all the countries so that your app won't be visible in any store.
From the iTunes Connect portal:
Select the App Stores where your app will be sold. Note that if you deselect all territories, your app will be removed from sale in all App Stores worldwide.

The Web iTunes Connect does not provide any method to reject the binary, only a release button.
There is however a Reject Binary option still available on the iPhone iTunesConnect App.
So if you find yourself with this issue
Start the iTunesConnect App
Select the manage option
Tap on your apps pending version release
Select the 'Reject Binary' button

I was not an admin but an app manager in App Store Connect. I did not have permission to remove the app but I was able to withdraw from the sale in order to pull back acceptance.
Pricing and Availability -> Availability -> Remove from sale
It appears that you can not reject a app after it is approved by Apple. One possible sequence is to release the approved version for sale in only some tiny country for an hour, then remove it from sale and submit a new update.
how to delete app from app store? I don't find any link there. Where is the link.
You go to iTunes Connect, select manage applications, select the app you want to delete > rights and pricing> deselect all app stores.
This will set your app to 'developer removed from sale'.
I believe you can delete the app entirely after this, and the 'delete app' button should now be added to the first screen after you select the app. If you do delete the app, you will never be able to use the app name again. If you plan on using it, just 'developer removed from sale'.
In iTunesConnect, go to Manage Your Applications, select the application, select Rights and Pricing, don't select any stores.
Note: Apps cannot be deleted until there is one approved version. If there is not an approved version, the app record can NOT be deleted.
The "delete app" button will just not be there in this case. So don't create an App for "testing" and expect you can remove it later on !
Apple has introduced the possibility of deleting an app. Quoting the iTunes Connect guide:
If you have created an app in iTunes

Does this mean that I won't be able to reuse the name in my account, but other accounts will? Has anybody tried this?

changes to Developer Removed from Sale and your app will not be seen on the App Store within 24 hours.
It's possible to salvage the situation. I also made a mistake and forgot to type com.XX part when entering the Bundle ID. My app was not live yet, but once you submit BundleID, it's not possible to change it.
What you can change though, is the "App Name". Thus:
Change the app name into something bogus
Add new app, now using correct Bundle ID and type the original name
Re-upload everything
You could reuse the App Name of the app you have deleted if you change the Default Language of the application information.

I just ran into this today trying to submit my app. I used an incorrect bundle ID and nievely assumed that deleting the app from iTunes Connect would release the app name and SKU for me to reuse when I recreated the app. Not so. Now I get these two errors:
The SKU number you entered has already been used.
The App Name you entered has already been used.
You are correct when you say their documentation is confusing. What the heck is "App Delete," and how is it any different from the "Delete Application" button in iTunes Connect?
I only hope I'm not screwed with regards to my app name being unavailable forever. I've contacted Support so here's hoping...
Simple steps for Deleting/Removing app from iTunes Connect:
iTunesConnect>App>Rights and Pricing>specific stores> Deselect All> Save
Change app status: Developer Removed From Sale
After 24hours app will be removed.
when you delete an application from iTunes Connect you can't upload with the same App Name and SKU in the same developer Apple id. This resource is for migrate an App for another company or individual developer. Ex. when an App was sold.
Follow Below Steps
Login into your iTunes Connect with your developer id: https://itunesconnect.apple.com
Click on App Icon
Click on Rights And Pricing
At the bottom This app will be on sale in all App Stores worldwide.
Or, you can select specific stores “here”. Click on here button to open all specific app stores.
Click on the “Deselect All” button to uncheck all App Store territories.
Click on “Save Changes” button.
Now when you save all these and go to back to your App icon home screen. There will be one more button appear “Delete Application” after “Set Up iAd Network”.
Click on Delete button and read instructions.
Your app will disappear from the app store within 24 hours.
