I recently installed MongoDB with Homebrew using instructions from here. However, whenever I run $ mongosh after running brew services start mongodb-community#6.0, I obtain the following error:

Running launchctl list | grep mongo also prints out nothing; and running brew list shows that the formulea:
mongodb-community mongodb-database-tools mongosh
has been installed.

Tried to connect to mongodb server after fresh installation but failed and I don't know about the problem and it's cause.
I have tried multiple fixes, including uninstalling and reinstalling mongodb following the mongodb official documentation, but nothing seems to fix my issue. Here is the error message I get when I run brew services start:
mongodb-community error 3584 <username> ~/Library/LaunchAgents/homebrew.mxcl.mongodb-community.plist
When I try to connect with the mongosh command, I get this error:
Connecting to: mongodb://127.0.0.1:27017/?directConnection=true&serverSelectionTimeoutMS=2000&appName=mongosh+1.6.1
MongoNetworkError: connect ECONNREFUSED 127.0.0.1:27017
It seems that is because mongod has not been started? I don't have anything essential saved to the /data folder so any method including wiping all files associated with mongodb would be fine by me. Here are the logs:

I am a newbie with this MongoDB technology. I have been troubleshooting for the past 3 days and it's still not running. I would really appreciate some assistance from anyone. THANK YOU!

I keep getting an error message and it's still not working, please I need help installing the 6.0 version I have tried everything, and saw people with similar issues but still didn't work.

mongo is the legacy shell that no longer exists in 6.0. You are looking for an executable called mongosh that is the new shell you can use to connect to a running database. That database can be running locally or via MongoDB Atlas. I would recommend taking some free courses on MongoDB University to learn more.
mongod takes many arguments. Importantly, you need to provide a directory where the data will get stored. For example:
$ mkdir /data/db/my_test_db
$ mongod --dbpath /data/db/my_test_db
However, this will dump all the log messages to the terminal, like you see in your question. To run it in the background you can provide a logpath like this:
$ mongod --dbpath /data/db/my_test_db --logpath /path/to/logs --fork

But I don't see the message "waiting for connections on port 27017".
I tried everything I found on the internet! I installed homebrew to install MongoDB.
From the output you get from running mongo, we can see that you're able to successfully connect to a preexisting mongod process. When you try to run mongod there's a log stating Address already in use, supporting the idea that there is already a mongod process running. I'm unclear on what issue you're experiencing.
