I have an app which is a little complicated to figure out details without a help document. I don't want to host the help document only on a web server for users who might not prefer to leave the app and go through the tutorial on a web page. So my question is: Is it possible to make use of DocC tutorial and present the tutorial to my users in the app without leaving the app? Is not, the only solution would be to provide a link for my users to open the web page in Safari I guess. My second question is: Is it possible to host DocC tutorial on an Amazon S3 bucket?

I want to open app from an external link, for example a link that I get in iMessage, the question is, I should use deepLink or universalLink, I want to open the app when I tap on the link, then having ability to read the url in the app is enough for me.
And for this matter, I should set a Json file in the website as well? something like this:
https://developer.apple.com/documentation/xcode/supporting-universal-links-in-your-app
It's a bit confusing for me, could anyone gives me a real example and steps?
Thank you
Yes, basically both the app itself and the website need to be aware that you are going to be using Universal Links. There are a few steps to do this:
First you need to include the website as an Associated Domain inside of your Xcode project.
Then for the website you do have to create what is known as the apple-app-site-association file. This lets the the website know which apps are associated with the website.
This tutorial has a step by step on How to setup your website to work Universal Links.
Lastly you will have to have to update your AppDelegate file to handle when a Universal link opens the application.
More info can be found in the official Apple Documentation on Creating Universal Links.
As the title goes, I need to connect a Xamarin built application to a SQLITE database stored inside a Amazon EC2 that is hosting a web app.
Now I agree not the most robust of set ups but i'm aware it can be done using RESTful API to build a web service and ideally host on Tomcat. But i can't find out how. Totally new to APIs.
That's all I need really. I've been down most avenues of Google and Xamarin support docs. But I really need someone to point me in the right direction as im seeing alot of broken links for Xamarin docs that revert me to Microsofts site. Or help find an example, anything would be heavily appreciated. I can only offer that if you answer my question you will make someones day and I will post a cute picture of a hamster.
Thanks!
I'm new to Bluemix but I've seen on several videos some folks easily using Bluemix to create their app screen just dropping whatever they find useful on it. But I logged on and I looked everywhere for this page and I can't find it. Does anyone knows how to get there? This image shows the place where I want to go.
Thank you all!
Mobile App Builder is no longer integrated into the Bluemix Developer Experience. It's been replaced with starter apps that allow users to get started quickly integrating Watson and other Bluemix services into their projects.
If you would like access to the legacy App Builder tools, they are available here.
I have a Question that does the application developed to publish on google web store needs different extensions for Mac and PC ?
If anyone knows the answer and give me some links for the documentation which describes the answer then that would be really helpful.
Thanks
This sounds like a question about how to get started in the Chrome Web Store and perhaps publishing your first extension or app.
The answer to your question is no, you will only need a single format. You upload a single file, a zip file, to your Chrome Web Store Developer Panel and it will be available for both Windows and Mac users for download/installation to their Chrome browsers.
Here is Google's Getting Started Guide: https://developer.chrome.com/extensions/getstarted
I am thinking about developing a fairly simple facebook application which i have modelled the database in access.
I have web space and mySQL databases available, but I was wondering if anyone could point me towards any guides for facebook development? I had a search a while back, but they all seemed rather out of date. Anyone know where I should start with this?
I don't want to really share exactly what my idea is, but its a rating system for a particular set of products.
I haven't done much PHP before, only edited my wordpress template, and I do know enough SQL I hope.

No need to go through a bunch of small tutorials when you can find out just about all you can do through this book. It seems to be lacking on building a facebook app with an iframe though.
