SSAS OLAP cube deploy fail - postgresql

everyone!
Faced a problem where I receive an error between Deploying and Processing my OLAP cube model. If I process cube without deploying, everything goes smoothly without problems. But when I deploy model, i receive the following error:
Cannot process database. Reason: Failed to save modifications to the
server. Error returned: 'OLE DB or ODBC error: We're sorry, an error
occurred during evaluation.. OLE DB or ODBC error: The command has
been canceled..
And I can not find a reason of this failure. This model was already deployed previously and there were no problems, compatibility also good
It looks like there is some sort of Permission problems but I can not figure out what it is exactly
Would like to hear suggestions and help
Thank you

How to solve oracle connector error in DataStage?

I am facing a sudden issue in my datastage job. when run the job it eventually aborts/fails and gives below error. whereas this was not happening earlier, I ran the job multiple times and it completed successfully.I have not made any changes.
I am getting this error in my source oracle connector.
following is the error:
Oracle_Connector: The connector could not access the oracle server using the specified Username.
Method: OCISessionBegin:OCI_CRED_RDBMS,
Error code:28040, Error message ORA-00000: normal,
successful completion.(CC_OraConnection::verifyConnection, file CC_OraConnection.cpp, line 5,171)
The most probable cause is that the password of the Oracle user has expired.

Keep getting error ""Create Service - Failed to fetch" on IBM Cloud's Db2 page

I've tried, failed, deleted the database and tried again 7 times now and I get this error each time. I'm on the lite plan and taking the IBM Data Science Certification course and I can't get past this part. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Deleting database (can only have one in lite plan I believe) retried several times
I just verified that I am able to create a fully working Lite instance on my end. Is it possible that it's a networking issue on your end? Was that the full error message? It seems to be cut off. In what region and datacenter are you trying to create the service instance?

Trying to create a new table column in DashDB but getting a timeout error

My problem is pretty much the same as here
DB2 deadlock timeout Sqlstate: 40001, reason code 68 due to update statements called from servlet using SQL
The problem is that I am using dashDB which runs as a service in IBM Cloud (formerly known as bluemix), so I don't have access to the same administrative tools some DB2 DBA has access to (AFAIK).
So I have a simple table, but when I try to add a column, I get this error
SQL0911N: SQL0911N The current transaction has been rolled back
because of a deadlock or timeout. Reason code "68". SQLSTATE=40001
[IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/LINUXX8664] SQL0911N The current transaction has
been rolled back because of a deadlock or timeout. Reason code "68".
SQLSTATE=40001
I've stopped all other DB activity such as other select statements, and I've tried using eclipse JDBC-based DB IDE instead of the web-based administrative DashDB provided by IBM Cloud (just because its authentication session just ends too quickly) without success.
Try this and post if it works.

Error while lifting the server

I tried to make a project using sails.js, ORM sequelize and postgreSQL. While lifting the server, I'm getting the following error:
I made sure that all the parameters and connections are correct but I'm unable to figure out the reason of this error. Please suggest a solution if possible.

SQL Server 2012 - SSAS Deployment Failed: File System Error, Access is Denied

The context is OLAP cube development. After configuring my project though SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT, the new BIDS) I am unable to deploy the project.
Every time the deployment process is started I get an error like the one below:
File system error: The following error occurred while opening the file '\\?\D:\[...]\database\mssql\tmpdb\MDTempStore_1864_9_no8wd.tmp': Access is denied.
(The [...] denotes some part of the path I ommited for brievty)
I always get the same error, indicating that some .tmp file could not be accessed.
My environment:
OS: Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard, SP1
SQL Server: SQL Server 2012 (v11.0.2100.60), running on localhost
What I tried:
I have the File System access rights for the folder in question (at some point I even tried with Admin privileges on the machine, didn't help)
I tried to deactivate the anti-virus in case it was performing on-access-scan (still didn't help)
Attempts to deploy/process individual dimensions causes the same problem
Deploying dimensions or cubes programmatically through SMO (instead of SSDT) runs into the same problem
Deploying DataSource objects as well as DataSourceView objects works fine
Maybe some of you faced similiar issues or have further suggestions/ideas?
Thanks for you help!
So, I finally figured it out.
As expected it was a permission issue, but despite the error message hinting at some missing file system permissions, the cause of the problem was the user I configured the Data Source with.
The SQL User I specified was given the roles
db_datareader
db_datawriter
db_ddladmin
on the source database but this doesn't seem to be enough. When I tried to give him the server role sysadmin it started working.
This is probably overkill, one could further fine-tune the role assignment but for now it also works that way.
Just a suggestion here - have you tried running SSDT as an administrator? That is, right-click on SSDT and click Run As Administrator. Then try to deploy your project. It definitely sounds like a permissions issue.
Exact reason is SSAS Service user does not have an access to the folders that are specified in SSAS configuration (i.e error states it is Temp Folder). I think it is not directly related with SQL Server because it is just a file access error. Error is thrown before it reaches SQL Server.
Give full permission to SSAS Service User for those folders.
